They did a little extra work between driveway and patio for no extra charge.Came back to fix an area that needed grading for water to go away from house and no additional charge. Very good and responsive to everything. Would highly recommend them.

Very friendly service. During our initial scheduled appointment, we had sporadic storms in the area and they promptly called us to notify us of any potential delays, which were understandable. The day of service, they showed up on time, cleared the existing debris and proceeded to repair the driveway and then put down the new overlay. The resulting product was fantastic and many neighbors asked about who did the work.

This was the end of the season so there were few companies willing to take on concrete jobs with cold setting in. After receiving other quotes, First Choice really shined for how they approached the business. Their price estimate was more than the estimates from companies I really did not want to hire, but it also wasn't the highest quote either. Daryl brought in a good crew and oversaw the entire job. He was the contractor and did not subcontract anything. He did exactly what he said he would. His crew was prompt each day and they cleaned up any mess before they left my property. My barn is over 100 years old and some of the barn's construction made it challenging for the crew to dig out the floor and pour the cement. Daryl did a good job of estimating the progress to expect each day and was very clear about when the work would be completed. While discussing other work I might need done, Daryl suggested doing the stone work on my driveway which showed more dirt and mud than anything else. He recommended limestone crusherrun instead of the basic gravel I normally used as it would pack down harder. Since he already had the equipment for excavating on site it was a good opportunity to add this work to the overall job and the price was in-line with expectations. I have waited several months to make this report because I wanted to see how the limestone packed driveway held up over the winter with ice melt and through the spring rain. I am glad he recommended doing it this way since it has held up very well and my wife really loves not cleaning the kitchen floor from all the mud that used to get tracked in. The cement floor in the barn turned out terrific. I waited many years to do this project because either cost was too high or I couldn't find the right person to do the work. I highly recommend First Choice Asphalt for having a good crew, doing what they promised, taking care of my property, having reasonable prices, and making time to do the work when others were closing up shop for the season.
