Disclosure: I had over 15 estimates. Dewalt&Son's was not the cheapest, they came in middle of the road. That is just fine. They provided a well written detailed estimate of what the estimated price included, and what extra "hidden costs" would be covered for that price. It stated in plain English how much time it would take when work started, and how long the estimate was good for. I was provided with a large packet of references. Once I decided to go with Dewalt&Son's they showed up when they promised, and completed the work early, and on budget even though it was the middle of the summer, and the heat was blistering. My home was left orderly, and there was no major damage to any of my property. So far it has been almost five months, and the roofing has survived a supercell thunderstorm, and our first winter freeze. Nothing unexpected has happened, and I am very satisfied with the job Dewalt&Son's did. I have recommended them to others personally. I waited to write this review so could observe the roofing job over the seasonal change after some weather. It held up great, and no doubt will continue to do so.

They were good, but they were a little pricey. They knew what they were doing. They were very knowledgeable in where to route water lines so they would not freeze. They did not just do it quickly; they did it the right way.

This is an old (1864) house that is full of surprises, but the DeWalt team seemed very comfortable and fluent in dealing with all aspects of an old house. The work was actually done as 2 separate jobs - the porch being first. The initial quote was to install 2 new adjustable columns under the porch. After completion, the owner inspected the work and decided to add a 3rd column at no additional charge. For the interior plumbing, they arrived on time, with different team members assigned to the work for which they were most expert. Lonni DeWalt, the owner, came around to help assess what was needed, and to inspect the work in progress. Once they determined the need to open walls and replace the last of the old cast iron drain pipes, they provided a separate quote, and recommended we contact our insurance to help cover the cost, which we did. In the end, they actually came in slightly under their initial quote. Lonni also followed up after completion of each job to be sure I was 100% satisfied. When I questioned the refinishing of one of the walls, he immediately sent his best sheetrock guy over to inspect and correct the work. All of the workers were very professional and personable. I felt confident in their abilities, and their sincere desire to get it right, even if it took more than they originally planned. I will no doubt use them again.

I came home to discover water in my basement and water spraying out of my jet pump. I called Dewalt and Sons and they had a plumber to my house within half an hour. The plumber introduced himself and proceeded to immediately stop the leak and identify the problem. There was a defective coupling that was leaking. He replaced the coupling and made sure that the repair was not leaking. He then cleaned up and confirmed that my water pressure was good.

All details concerning the scope of the job and estimate were done within 2 days. Team showed up on time everyday and completed the entire job in 3 days. They were polite and neat, all debris was hauled away and yard area was raked upon completion of the job. I would happily recommend this company to anyone in my area.
