Description of Work: Bathroom remodel, it did not go well. They spackled the wall after the tile was put up, so they weren't able to get it flattened out right. Now that it's painted you can see those lines very clearly. Had to relocate the door because of fire code and was charged extra for that. Because of moving that door I lost closet space in the bathroom. Sent me to the store to pick out bathroom sink and toilet. He told us to tell the sales rep at the store it was a standard levit bathroom. The sales rep didn't verify the size tub and we ended up with the wrong model. It forced us to have to move the drain and caused us to lose 4 inches of room. This was their error but they still charged us for moving the drain. It was an additional $400. After the job was done, tub had water puddling along the back wall because the tub was installed unevenly. He did come back to fix that, which was a big process. They also placed the sink too close to the toilet so it over lapped. You couldn't use the toilet comfortably because of the over lap. They also had to come back to move that as well. The tile had already been installed so now you can see the shut off valve that used to hidden behind sink because it was moved after the fact. Just over all shoddy job for at least $10,000 if not more.

Response from MASTER CRAFT INSTALLATIONS
Sorry that you had this experience with your contractor ( whoever that was ?) but it was NOT Mastercraft Remodeling and Construction in Garden City South. We take great care and pride in our work and (as owner) I am personally ON each job, working alongside my men each day ....Monday through Friday..... to be sure that problems ( such as you mention in your review) do not happen. I would appreciate it if Angies List would investigate this matter and credit the correct business with your review. We have immediately notified them ( 6-17-15) and hope that they take prompt action to correct this error. Thank you ~ Carmne at Mastercraft 516 292-8706
