The screen works for my dock, but they do fly over it and go in my yard still. I generally know where things are in the store. If I can't find what I need, It is easy to find someone to get assistance. I generally go at a time when it is not busy. They have an express check out, as well as a regular checkout. I generally go through the regular one, and it is pretty quick.
Description of Work: I went there for a screen for my dock ramp to keep the geese off my property.

Description of Work: I had a picture window installed by a man sent out by home Depot. He did a very poor job and argued with me when I complained. The project manager called me and without seeing the job backed his man up. That night it rained and the window leaked heavily. I ended up repairing the job myself. In hind sight I should have just put the window in myself and saved on the installation money and aggravation.

I did not select them because of the manner they handle customers I simply said I would take that into advisement.
Description of Work: I had requested on line for an estimate to remove 8 sections of stockade to be removed that had been damaged by the storm Sandy and replaced. The called over the phone and said 1700 dollars without even stopping by.

Description of Work: I phoned Home Depot for an estimate for a fence for the perimeter of my yard. They subcontract out and I knew that. I have used them in the past without any issues. It took a few phone calls to finally get to speak with Anthony. We set a date for him to come give me an estimate. I arrived home 15 minutes before the estimate appointment time to find the flyer from Anthony in my door. He had apparently arrived early and left me an estimate for the fencing without my being home. The estimate was not for the area I had wanted fenced. He did not know what kind of fencing I wanted, where I wanted it or when I wanted to have it done. I left him a message saying "Forget it." I wouldn't have anyone like that do work in my home. Bad work ethic......

It is probably obvious to say I would not hire Home Depot for flooring again. I mean, its not directly them. I suppose if I think about it, the subs were the problem. If Home Depot hires them though to do the work, it is a reflection on them. That is my reasoning for really not using them again more than anything else.
Description of Work: Home Depot installed vinyl flooring and carpeting in the entrance way of my home. The carpeting was fine, but the vinyl starting lifting up. It did that three times. They had to come back and repair it that many times after the initial installation.

Home Depot was great. They really were. They just didn't clean up too well. They left nails all over the place. They use big teams to do the work. The roof looks great. The siding had some details that were left hanging because they were waiting for additional materials. Nobody bothered to tell us that though. They are supposed to use a large magnet to pick up the nails, but we had to pick up hundreds of nails on our own.
Description of Work: We had a new roof put on our home by Home Depot. Our roof is pretty big. They removed the old roof first and then put on a new one using asphalt shingles. They completed the job in less than one day. They also put up new vinyl siding after removing the old siding.

THE WORKERS OF THIS COMPANY ARE PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY REPAIRED THE SCREEN NEATLY AND SECURE. THEY SAID IF I HAVE ANYMORE QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS CALL THEM IMMEDIATELY AND THEY WILL COME RIGHT OUT.

SEVERAL VISITS BY ESTIMATORS DID NOT PROVE EFFECTIVE AT SUPPLYING THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF MATERIALS. INCORRECT MATERIAL CAUSED MULTIPLE VISITS TO COMPLETE THE JOB. I ALSO ENDED UP PAYING FOR ALL THE LEFTOVER MATERIALS.
Description of Work: PURCHASED AND HAD HOME DEPOT INSTALL SIMULATED WOOD FLOOR COVERINGS.
