Finishing Touch Construction

He was hired to strip our roof and replace with steel roofing. He needed 75% down which we paid. I repeatedly asked for a written quote which when I finally got it, was not broke down. He parked his work trailer in my front yard it sat there for a couple of months. I continually called and texted with no replies or excuses. He finally showed up for work. Got the job done. At first, things looked good. But rain storms came along and have had several leaks that my husband has had to go up and repair. It’s now over 2 years later and still getting leaks. We paid him $13,000 to do this work. I blame myself for not looking into him better. He has been reported to the BBB several times with the same stories. Buyer Beware!!!

Do NOT Hire this lying piece of ****!!! He has a long history of taking your money and never finishing the job, plus he hires these guys off the street who does not know what there doing. Everything he attempted to do in my house had to be redone bc it was not up to code or just plain wrong!!!! He took$40k from me would not buy supplies for his guys to work, then when push comes to shove he will write you right off, will not return texts or calls. Wife works at a catholic school ( would think would have catholic morals) and she will lie just like him. I have found more than 10 people just in Dexter he has done this too, definitely is a schister!!!! He always his excuses are sick, covid, in hospital

I have a house that has thing not finished a backyard I have not been able to use in two summers. And he basically told me to F off you can stop by and look at his work. They do not know quality at all and will change things on you. Stay away.

Quoted about $11,000.00 for the job. Requested 75 percent up front. As job went on requested more and more money with very little work completed. Finally told contractor that there would be no more money until work was done. By this time we had paid about $13,000.00. Contractor did not do any more work on project and we had to hire another contractor to do the job. Could not get money back and had to sue in small claims court for $5,000, which is the maximum amount in my state. Won judgment, but have still not been paid to this day.
