Pete's Chimney responded immediately to my initial request. I had a price quote within hours and scheduled an appointment for the next day! The pricing was very competitive compared to the other quotes we got. They were extremely professional and explained the problems as well as the solutions really well, straight forward. The workers showed up on time, were efficient, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. All communications were handled in a timely manner. I would definitely work with them again. It was a very pleasant experience overall. As a first-time home owner, I really appreciate how they made the entire process so easy and hassle free.

Very prompt service. Came the same day I called. They did a good job, but I felt the workers really rushed the job as the weather was getting ready to rain. The gutters had covers that needed to be removed. I did find about a half dozen good sized gutter pieces in my yard after they were done. Otherwise I was happy with cost and job performed. Would use again.

I was extremely happy with this company. I left a message on Angie's for an estimate on a Monday and had a response that day. The owner informed me that he would try to squeeze me into his busy schedule the next day for an estimate. He couldn't fit me in,but,informed me immediately of such and said definitely the next day. True to his word,he came out on Wednesday and left me the estimate. I called him on Thursday to do the work. He promised me next day service on Friday and was there that Friday. The work was done promptly,properly and the owner and crew cleaned up any mess as my roof and gutters were in rough shape. I strongly recommend Pete's for the integrity of the company and of the great work done.

Contacted Pete on the day before Thanksgiving to have my gutters cleaned and secured (some nails had been popping out). That evening, he provided me with a written quote and after I agreed to the estimate, he was able to schedule me at 9am the day after Thanksgiving. In my communications with Pete (mostly via text message), he was very responsive and courteous. The team he sent was hard-working and efficient. Price was very fair - even before the 5% discount for Angie's list members. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will certainly hire Pete's Chimney & Gutter again.

Pete worked quickly and efficiently to sweep the Chimney and provide an inspection. Gave an honest and fair assessment of the work that needed to be done. I have elected to hold off on the work for budgetary reasons but will consider Pete for the job when I am able to do so. UPDATE: We had Pete come back to repoint our chimney before the winter weather set in. He completed the work within 48 hours of our initial call and did a terrific job. He is also helping to install fireplace doors that I purchased at a local hardware store. His price is fair and his work is high quality. I sincerely recommend Pete's Chimney and Gutter Company.

Called Pete to get an estimate for a gutter repair, and roof repair. He returned the call and came out to my house the next day, I thought, great way to start! He then told me that he'd send a crew the next day to give me a proper estimate and if I approved, they'd do the work on the spot. Great! They did not show up the next day, or the next, or the next. I then called back and Pete apologized to me for not sending his crew and explained that due to the rain that we had received in the area, his work schedule was all backed up. Well, why didn't you have someone call to inform your prospective customer this news? In any case, I let it slide because he sounded sincere and I had already cancelled the other scheduled estimates. He then told me the he'd send a crew out the next day. Well, that was about two weeks ago... Are you kidding me!!?? Nothing angers me more than someone wasting my time, and he wasted a bunch of it. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

The representative looked at the work and quoted some masonry work but not relining, which I thought it needed. When I made the appointment they said that the representative would take pictures to show me what was wrong; he didn't do that. One item in the quote was a waterproof coating called Chimseal for $475, which was sold with a long spiel about how good it was and how they were doing it at cost because it was so important. I looked online and the stuff costs like $130/gal, and my chimney is very small. I got the work (including a new liner) done by someone else for $2140, and they did a lot of masonry work inside and outside the house, included a waterproofing sealer, and it's been three years now and no leaks.

Our house is currently for sale and although we knew the roof on one side needed to be replaced we were hoping to sell and have the buyer deal with it. Of course, we were planning to be forthright about the issue at the time of sale. However, after a very heavy rain on a Thursday, a small portion of the roof caved in. It became clear that we needed to fix the roof. My husband called a local roofing company (someone we knew for years, been in business for years, and had done work on a small section of roof once before). He came by the following day (Friday) and said his guys could come by the next day (Saturday) and do a temporary fix until he had time to write up an estimate for the whole roof. On Saturday, when we expected his crew, no one showed up! By mid afternoon, a colleague from work suggested I call Pete. Within 15 minutes, he showed up at the house, gave my husband a price for the job and said he would have his guys start immediately if we desired. The weekend forecast was nothing but warm and sunny so we set up the job for Monday and Tuesday. During the same visit, my husband asked him to take a look at the roof on our detached apartment. (We knew it was in bad shape). However, upcoming vacation and cost made us think we would wait a month to go ahead and have Pete complete the job! Pete gave us such a great price for the apartment that we were able to go ahead and get it all done at once! Once his workers arrived and started to pull off the old roofing it became clear that we needed far more than shingle replacement. Pete explained that it would require replacing more plywood than he anticipated and that the price would be a bit higher. We understood and told him to go ahead with the job. 26 sheets of plywood were needed!!!! Pete charged us a minimal amount more than the original estimate! Pete's crew is polite, professional and extremely hard working. My guess is that he is able to provide such quality service at such a reasonable rate because they work efficiently and waste NO time! The quality of the roofing is exceptional and when they left on Tuesday...the date Pete originally said they would be done...there was no clean up left for us. The yard/area was returned to the condition it had been before they started. Pete is an old fashioned "honest" businessman! No messing around, no game playing, no surprises! He does fantastic work and he's a h*** of a nice guy too! Oh, and by the way, the local roofer - the guy we originally called and promised to temporarily fix the problem and give us an estimate - called us a week later!!!! Pete and his crew were long gone and we had a beautiful new roof on both the house and the apartment. It's difficult to express our satisfaction in writing! But we are very grateful to Pete and his guys for being on the spot when we were in a spot!

I called Pete on a Saturday morning and he showed up the same day, upon inspection of the chimney during cleaning he not only discovered worn flashing at the base of the chimney but also damage to the roof below as a result of leakage. Pete offered several options, some for lower prices, others for more long term fixes, all at reasonable prices. After agreeing on one his team returned a couple hours later and finished the job. All of this was done the same day that i called Pete, i could not be happier. I totally recommend Pete for these services and will personally consider him for other jobs down the road.

Pete started work on the roof on the Saturday, the day after I had contacted him, and the work was completed by early Wednesday of the same week, which is now just a day ago. I was impressed by Pete's professionalism. His crew worked hard to get the job done quickly. The new roof looks fine and the outside of my house was left clean. During the course of his work, Pete was in contact with my by messages/emails/calls to my cell phone, and Pete promptly responded to all calls that I made to him, and answered all my queries. I found Pete to be reliable, his crew to be hardworking, and I would recommend him.

Pete and crew arrived on time, started working right away. They cleaned up all the debris from the gutter topper removal and cleaning. They were very efficient, courteous and answered all my questions. Pete gave me good suggestions for the future maintenance of the gutters and chimney. I will definitely used them again and have already referred friends to this company.

After noticing loose bricks on the top of our chimney we called three different companies for estimates. Pete's Chimney was the quickest to respond. Pete himself answered and agreed to come the next day. He showed up on time. He was knowledgeable, professional and was understanding that we wanted to get other estimates before signing a contract. After a week of trying to sync up with other contractors and getting unreasonable estimates we called Pete. He came that same afternoon with his guys and began work. His guys worked neatly (no cement debris left in grass when finished) and quickly. The work took one afternoon and was completed the next morning. We were very impressed with his responsiveness and the quality brick mason workmanship. I would definitely hire them again.
