Tom, the owner, is an excellent mechanic. His team can do pretty much everything from HVAC installations/maintenance to all plumbing. I would not use any other service. Their good so their busy, especially in weather events.
Description of Work: Used them for boiler, HVAC, Bath renovation, gas lines... general plumbing

Description of Work: Unfinished job, was paid 95%, but not willing to come back to complete the job. Promised to pay for our expense to find and hire someone else. |Kept submitting unpaid portion of his invoice, which is 1/4 of what we ended up paying to someone else. Now resolved (called it 'even'...), or his rating would have been an F.

The first quote for the job was high because it was written up for a new installation rather than a replacement. Both that quote and the revised and corrected one included the statement "Qualifies for Utility Rebate, $300." All subsequent attempts to track down that rebate have failed. Initially the company sent info for rebates available in other counties or for other appliances. Eventually the owner simply stopped answering my requests to track down the rebate. I don't know whether it was a mis-statement or a ruse to get the job, but his handling of the situation was deplorable.

It went OK, until there was an electrician on site. The electrician blew the system, by putting the wrong voltage on. Multiple phone calls had to be made to get it done right. I was told about all of these rebates, but I had to jump through hoops to get these done.
Description of Work: Installed new AC system.

I made an appointment for a evaluation/estimate for a Saturday morning, with the owner of the company. No one showed up for the appointment. I called the company and got an answering machine. I emailed and got no response. I called the company again the following Wednesday and got an apology. We rescheduled and he came. The estimate to replace the boiler was around $9,000.00. We priced the boiler and found it to cost about $3,000.00. He had quoted 2 days of labor which appeared to be $3,000.00 per day. When questioned he immediately dropped his price to $8,000.00, still too high for us. So we asked for a routine maintenance on our existing system (which was working fine.) The worker who did the job, did it well except that he neglected to replace the drainage hose that the owner had declared as "dangerous'. He replaced several other hoses which had been deemed "okay" by the owner and then proceeded to charge us an extra $70.00. He also left the washing machine out from the wall. It took me a half an hour to put it back and level it again, (should I send them a bill)? Only kidding about the bill, but overall one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a service provider.
Description of Work: Routine maintenance performed on the heating system. Sloppily done.

I was very happy to hear the price they gave me for this new boiler. I thought I would be paying much much more. The men that came were very efficient and had the new boiler out in no time. I was impressed with the way they cleaned up and I would refer their services to anyone.
Description of Work: We had this contractor install a new boiler which heated out 3000 square foot home. This took them approximately one full day and they tested the new unit, ensured all the ducts were clean, and then took the old boiler out with them when they left.
