Good guy fair and honest, I would hire him again

excellent, prompt, does the job very well and professional, highly recommend him in the area. He does the very efficiently, and does it in a way that he doesn't upsell any service. He doe his work very well. He calls you back right away and gets there as soon as possible.

Victor is a great guy, an excellent plumber, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I've been using Victor for many years. Before he was on his own, he worked for another plumbing service in Northport, and he did many jobs for me over the years. He's very honest, reasonably priced, and responsive. Not to mention a great guy. The first few jobs I bid out to a few local guys, and Victor was always the most competitively priced, and it helps that the quality of his work is excellent. Now I just call Victor right away with any problem. He came over to replace a leaky / broken pressure reduction valve that feeds my boiler. When he did the job, he noticed that my expansion tank was also leaking, so ran out to buy a replacement and did both the same morning. Having worked with him before, I know that he does not recommend unnecessary work. He's very consciousness of the homeowners budget. Anyway - he did a great job - the boiler is working perfectly, and while I hope I don't have to call him again anytime soon, he'll definitely be the person I do call with any plumbing issues. A+

We had a leak in a pipe in our wall. It was not an emergency. However my wife was upset because the laundry room and adjacent furnace room area was getting some minor flooding as a result. We managed to reduce the leak by trying to shut-off the leak area using a valve and applying tape with only partial success. This morning was one of the coldest days of the year (about 7 degrees in our neighborhood when we woke up) and the last couple of weeks has produced very cold temperatures that has probably kept plumbers mighty busy with related problems like frozen pipes, etc. After searching Angie's list, I was about to call a plumber but we called Victor's after getting a recommendation from our furnace/boiler guy instead since he was located only around 3 miles away from our home. We like to keep things local as much as possible. I called him 8:00AM this morning and Victor actually answered the phone. He was very nice on the phone and asked about the problem we were having. After describing the problem, he said he had to deal with some emergency frozen pipe issues for customers but he would call us later in the day. About 1:00PM, Victor called and asked if we would be around in about a half hour. We said yes and 35 minutes later he stopped by to help us. He came in and thoroughly assessed the situation and gave us some options. After some discussion, we left Victor to do what he had to do. He fixed the problem and even provided new insulation around the area. He tested the system and even answered a few unrelated questions we had for him and he was nice enough to give us his opinion/impression regarding these. He spent over an hour with us. He cleaned up after himself and gave us lots of free advice. Victor was very pleasant & very professional and his fee was reasonable, especially under the circumstances. We have been lucky enough over the the years not to need a steady proper plumber but we will not hesitate to use Victor in the future. A+ all the way.
