TRADITIONAL TREE SERVICE

The work was great. They arrived with several trucks and a good size crew. They had the branches which were the size of a tree trunk, were removed, carted away and the small stuff put through a chipper. My yard was then cleaned up by the remaining crew. Very professional group.

Owner pointed out the tree in question belonged to the town and they would prune for free. Offered to come back if the town was not responsive. Very honest. Will definitely use and recommend going forward.

I don't even know where to start. I inquired online about their tree trimming service very early in the morning on Friday, September 16. I received a call from Donna the same morning, to schedule an estimate. Donna said she could get someone over to my house the same day. I explained what I needed done and a couple of hours later, Steve showed up at my house. I tell you, what a gentleman. Very customer service oriented. He explained how the process would go. When I asked for his advise on the best course of action, he not only explained it thoroughly, but also gave me a great price. He even said that he could get his crew to my house the same day. Steve's crew arrived less than 2 hours later and were done in less than 30 mins. They were ready to work when they got to my house. In those 30 mins, they got their climbing equipment ready, cut the tree back away from the house as well as a second tree on the property, cleaned and disposed of the cut tree limbs/ wood. I've never seen a crew work the way they did. Very diligent and effective. AMAZING!!! If I ever need any additional tree cutting, I'll be calling Steve and his crew.. I have no issues recommending Traditional Tree Service to anyone.

This review is nearly 2 years late, but better late than never. I had a tree limb over my house and hit it cut. Very professional crew. Would hire again.

They were punctual. Very neat and the job was performed excellently.

I needed a large spruce tree taken down at my mom's house. While I couldn't be there when the work was being done, everything was completed exactly as discussed. The tree was removed, the property was clean and the process was worry free. This company definitely has the right name. Traditional Tree Service does good, quality work at a fair price..... Just like the old days. Thanks!!!!

This is the best company I have ever used. They are very respectful of the property and the clean up was excellent. Highly recommended. Steve is very professional, and the crew is hard working and efficient.

Very quickly and most importantly they stayed to clean up any mess from all the tree cutting.

Called Traditional Tree because they were an Angie's List Super Customer Service Winner. They promply came to the property and gave me my free estimate. It was right in line with other estimates but a 20% discount was awarded to me because I use Angie's List which in turn made it a little bit cheaper to use them. I hired them on the spot. They called me when they could make it but they were a bit late (about 1.5 hrs) which is understandable considering the type of work they do. I wish they would have updated me. They did not, which prompted a phonecall which I had to initiate. They did however call me back and told me they were on their way. Shortly after, they arrived. When they arrived, they did not ring the doorbell to let me know they were there. Some of the workers just decided to enter my backyard without any permission. This worries me because I have a dog and if he was out he probably would have gotten out of the yard. I expressed by displeasure about the situation to the owner on site. Other then that situation all went well. With out me saying anything, they were thoughtful enough to wrap my cedar fence opening with a heavy painting tarp so that they would not damage it. They also did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I would definitly hire them again.

They were punctual and professional. The reason I couldn't give them a higher grade is because they just finished sprayed them and it takes a while to see results. I actually have another treatment next month scheduled as he said it needed 2 treatments. Price was fair also.

Once again, Traditional Tree, did an excellent job. They removed all the trees, ground the stumps and cleaned up the surrounding area. They were timely, professional and the price was reasonable.

Steve walked the property first with us, then alone, and gave us a sketch showing each tree that he saw needed some work and the work needed. His crew was able to work on our trees within a few days of our initial call. They worked like a well oiled machine and were able to complete the job in a couple of hours, leaving our trees and property looking great. We would definitely hire Traditional Tree service again.

They were able to come right out the same day I connected with them for an estimate. They exceeded my expectations on the cost of the job and the quality of the job. The trees look healthy and full now, but are no longer hanging over the house and eclipsing the other trees and shrubs we have. I'd highly recommend this provider - the were very efficient and professional.

We're very happy with them there's a couple of things I would have liked them to do differently, They did a very good job, they came in they were wonderful to work with they listened to the issues we had like obviously the first thing we had to do is get that tree down but in order to get to that tree there were other trees or bushes that had to come down which was fine with us because at some point we would have taken it down and of the ones we have already taken down they ground all the stumps out and of older ones that we have taken down before it was very good at like walking the yard and taking them out, their price was very good I thought that out of all the prices that we estimated that we got estimate for their prices were very good and I liked dealing with the owner very he was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us in determining what we would keep and what we wouldn't because this is the house that has been here for 45 years so there is somethings we knew that we want to get rid of and other things we had questions marks on so he helped us decides whether if it was worth to either move something or get rid of it and start over things like that he was very knowledgeable and I like him very much and he was very honest,very honest like he said well listen I could take this down for you, things like that you may decide in the future you don't want it or like there was a tree on the curb and he said I could trim it back for you but the town may give you a hard time because it's not yours. things like that he knew what the rules were, he was very smart and very nice man to deal with. It was so much work that I had to do after they were gone, now I don't know if it's because it's just not part of the service but it took me a week to clean up everything like what they did they took the biggest, biggest tree was obviously the most amount of work so the biggest one they took it down and they had their truck right here to take it away and the bushes we had to take it out, they had a truck that grind it up and away it went that was all great but once the roots come in with stump grinder an all that stump had to be ground up that's all left behind so I don't know if it was my inexperience in something like this not knowing to ask if that was included in the price or if it just not something that is generally done, there were lot of very big roots that were left behind, believe me they got 97% of it but the 3% that were left were really big and I had o do that my self. I would recommend them.

This was the second time I used Traditional Tree Service. Was highly satisfied. Intend to use them again.

Had to have a tree removed as per insurance company (Large limb hanging over the house). Company was responsive in having arborist come by to survey the tree and the work to be done. Quote drawn up on the spot, and prompt scheduling once I was prepared to have the work done. Pricing was on par with other firms that quoted me. Crew showed up exactly on time and work was completed safely and quickly (especially with respect to large limb hanging over the house). At my request, crew left approx. a cord's worth of limbs/branches for me to cut for firewood, placing it out of the way. Would definitely recommend.

Responded back to me the same day, reasonable price, service completed within a week. Everyone was very courteous and professional. Couldn't ask for anything more.

From the initial call to schedule an estimate, through waving goodbye to the team, the experience was wonderful. Steve was prompt, gave me a competative bid, and the office worked to accommodate our schedule. On the day of service, his team arrived a few minutes early, ready to go. They brought several trucks of equipment, a game-plan, and a team of professionals. They each had a job, and each did it quickly, safely and efficiently. 11 mature trees is a huge job, some trees were twice the height of our 2-story house. The guys took care not to damage our property, or the neighbors. As trees were cut, the debris was removed. Like they were never there. Our neighbors were so impressed, several have also scheduled work on their own properties. Bottom line, hats off to Steve Mullane and the Traditional Tree Service team, for a big job well done!
