TRADITIONAL TREE SERVICE

The estimator was on time, which I appreciated. Because it was a small job, they combined it with another one in my area. I came home one evening, and the tree was gone! There was no mess what-so-ever.

Their price was the lowest of the three prices that I had gotten by about 30 percent. They did an excellent job. As an Angie?s List member I had a coupon that gave me a 10 percent discount. My experience with Traditional Tree Service was excellent.

Steve was cognizant of my needs and carefully scheduled a day when I would be home. He called the night before, arrived promptly with his crew the next morning, and removed the tree and stump without damaging anything nearby. He avaluated the rest of the property where I had concerns...and will return to feed and spray some other trees that may have problems. He quickly ground down another stump that had been previously left when one of our other trees needed to be removed a while ago, as well.

Team of 5 men. They were fast and professional and courteous. Cleanup was good as well. Job well done.

It went quite well. No property was damaged by the tree removal, cleanup was thorough.

I couldn't be happier. Throughout the day the team behaved in a friendly and professional manner, and their expertise at doing their respective jobs and working as a team was obvious. They were well-organized and tackled even the biggest branches in a safe-enough manner that I had no fear of anything damaging the house. Steve kept the beautiful vines on a huge oak on the front of the house and trimmed them to save the tree and the vines, at our request. At one point it turned out that I had estimated the property line incorrectly and Steve had marked some trees and shrubs on the neighbor's property for trimming and cutting. They talked to the neighbor and when he told them he didn't want the stuff cut, Steve adjusted the job, and the price, downward to compensate. At the end we ended up paying exactly the estimated amount, minus the stuff he didn't cut at the neighbors' place. And it seemed like a bargain. After Traditional left we were thrilled with the open yet still well-shaded look of our property. It was a huge difference, and visitors who saw the place beforehand never fail to say how much of an improvement the trimming made. In sum, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Traditional to anyone who has a big trimming/cutting job like ours. They were awesome.

The owner responded promptly, was on time for the estimate, service performed as requested - we could not have been more pleased, and plan to use them again!

The enitre job was completed within and hour and a half. I couldn't believe how fast they worked.

Left a message on his answering machine and Steve got back to me next day. I described the work and he dropped by when I wasn't there and left a quote within two days. I called him back and said no rush as I wasn't going to be around for two weeks, and he said he'd do it when he got another job in the area. When I returned he hadn't done it yet, but when I called to say I was back it was done within three days. Again he did it while I wasn't there, and he did a terriffic job, even taking off a limb or two that needed to come down but wasn't included in the original quote, and he didn't charge more for the extra limbs. I had said he could put the limbs in the woods, and that's where they were; lawn was fairly clean when done (hard to tell because the stormmthat brought down the rest of the 30'+ tree left debris all over the lawn). I was going to pay in cash and he dropped by about a week later to pick up the money...again when I wasn't home but my wife or son gave him the money I left. So I never met the man, but he does nice work.

Well, to be honest, we sort of had a snafu to start. Steve was prompt in responding to my initial call, and we set up an appointment for quote on a Saturday. However the Saturday appointment passed and no quote visit. So I called to see what happened and it was just a mix-up (forgot the paperwork), so, again based on his great reviews, we rescheduled for the next day and Steve was genuinely apologetic! We decided to go with Steve and I could not have been happier. He told us that he would definitely do the work the following week, and would call us the day before he came with the caveat that we did not need to be there, only to have our gate to the backyard unlocked. He called Thursday night and said he would be there Friday afternoon. He stopped by around 8:30 on Friday to coordinate with my wife and to make sure everything was a go. His crew was working by 11:00. Very quick, and very cautious with the trees around existing structures. It was easy to tell they knew what they were doing. By 4:00, trees were down, ground, the yard was raked and cleaned (better than when they started), and I was waving goodbye to them. Overall, a GREAT experience, and my wife was first to comment on how good the yard looked afterwords, as the last tree removal company we used left our yard a MESS because they used a separate stump grinding company and they had no commitment to clean up. Needless to say, they got a tip.

The owner was extremely professional: estimate was presented to me yesterday and the tree removal crew arrived the next afternoon! I was pleased with their promptness because high winds was forecast for that day and the next and since one dead tree was leaning, I was glad to see it removed quickly. The foreman or owner (not sure which he is) went so far as to remove two flowering plants from harm's way prior to excising one tree and stump and then he replanted the plants in their original spots!! I had pointed out to him they were flowers my daughter loved to gaze at from her bedroom window. Imagine my appreciation that he took my concern into consideration! When done, my property was left spotless. I will definitely use this company in the future. Complete satisfaction! (P.S. I've used another tree service in the past and they were not as good as Traditional Tree Service).

I got three estimates to have two trees removed. Steve from Traditional gave me the best price (the same as the other two, but Steve also included trimming the Douglas fir in his price), so we went with him. He said he'd be able to get to us in two weeks. Less than a week later, he called and said he was going to be in the area and that he thought he could fit us in. He and his crew showed up right when they said they would and did the job quickly and efficiently. They completely removed the Japanese maple and its stump, cleaned up the fir, and even cut up the cherry tree for me to use as firewood, stacking it up against my fence, nice and neatly.

Crew arrived at 8:15am and by 9:30am the tree was converted into sawdust and the property was perfectly clean.

I thought they were excellent. He was very honest, he didn't try to rake me over the coals. He was on time, he came when he said he would. He was very good. I think he was very fairly priced.

Steve (a licensed Arborist) arrived on time, did a thorough assessment of the property & provided us with a written 1-line drawing of the project proposal along with a written quote. After we did the same walk through with 2 other vendors, we selected Traditional Trees - their price was better than one of the other bidders but the professionalism demonstrated by Steve surpassed all the others. The Traditional Tree Service team arrived on time and did the work as promised. The clean-up was excellent and we would certainly recommend them to others and of course, use their services again.

When he said he's coming, he will be there. His pricing is a little high, but a little pricey. The one thing he does not do is, he will not ground down a stump or remove a stump.

Steve and crew removed a large Maple tree that was dead. Also remove a large Pine tree that was right next to the house. No damage to the house. They did a quick and neat job. Great job!

Steve and his crew took down the trees while we were both at work and did a very neat job. No damage to anything (one tall tree was very close to house).

Steve called me back within a day and gave me an estimate within three days. We scheduled the work and they arrived on time. Everything was done according to the estimate and they finished ahead of time.

Excellent company that I have used several times over the past several years. Estimates are complete and accurate. The work is scheduled and completed as planned. I am never there when they have performed the work, but have never been disappointed. Excellent company - all contractors should be so good.

The estimate was done a time frame was given. I was called the day before to confirm. Other then the wood chips around the stumps that were ground you wouldn't even know they were there. I was not home when the work was done, but everything that was contracted to be done was done plus a little extra. I had a pile of branches I cut down from some other trees they took away. Thank you very much for that.

Called other tree services, including one I've used before, this one called back promptly, seemed pleasant and interested in doing the work. Others either didn't bother calling back, or never followed through. He said he was licensed, insured, with other credentials. At first said he'd be here in two weeks to do job, but I called and asked if there was any way it could be done earlier, because I had a fallen tree hanging on my large shed. Job was done within 2 days after the call. Job was complete and more, cleanup excellent, full crew with two huge trucks.

Representative contacted me the day I called. Estimate was reasonable as compared to other companies contacted. Traditional tree stayed in contact and arrived on time on the day promised. Work was performed very well and cleanup was also very good.

TRADITIONAL TREE DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT THEY DID NOT TOUCH OR BREAK ANY OTHER BUSHES AROUND THAT BIG OAK, IT WAS INCREDIBLE. THEY SAID THEY COULD DO IT AND THEY DID. THEY CLEANED UP EVERYTHING WHEN THEY WERE DONE.

THIS COMPANY REALLY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF CUTTING DOWN THE TREES AND HAULING AWAY THE BRANCHES, THE WOOD AND STUMPS. SINCE HAVING MY OTHER TREES PRUNED THEY HAVE BECOME FULL AND HEALTHY.
