Great job!

I don’t remember how much he charged, it was pretty reasonable, $100 maybe. It was quite affordable. Most of it is just cause he had to show up in the first place. He didn’t really do very much, but they deserve money for their time of showing up and the phone report. He was a nice guy, very prompt, very communicative, thorough and professional. I would recommend him if anybody needed an asbestos investigation.

The company was fantastic. They provided an estimate quickly and the cost was correct. They were very professional and quick on the day of the job.

They were able to come out to me the same day I called them. They took a piece of tile to test for asbestos. They said that they would send it to a separate lab because there's a conflict of interest. That makes sense. I don't want the same company that removes asbestos testing for the existence of the asbestos. So, they said I would get the results by e-mail by Wednesday. I came home from work on Wednesdsy & there was an e-mail from Eddie with the certificate attached. No asbestos! Yay! I am very excited. Now Empire cam come back and finish the job!! Thanks QualTech. Since this was not for a certification, just for our own peace of mind, Ed let me know that he wouldn't need to take as many samples - since testing is paid per sample, this saved a lot of money. He was also very forthright about which areas presented a risk and which didn't. It was all very clear, very quick and gave us what we wanted.

They were honest in letting me know I didn't have a mold problem.

Qualtech Tech did an excellent job. I was suppose to have new meters installed by Con Ed. When they arrived, they discovered asbestos covering the boiler pipe and would not perform the installation until it was remedied. I called Qual Tech that day, and they sent someone to out right away. A day later we found out that it was asbestos. I called to schedule an appointment for removal and air quality testing on Thursday and the appointment was scheduled for the following Monday. When he came we showed him another spot in the back of the basement that we thought might also be asbestos. He removed the asbestos from both areas and performed air quality testing and was finished in about 45 minutes. He said it was a small job but he did an excellent job and was extremely efficient and courteous!! I was thrilled with the service and would absolutely use it again!!

The provider came on time and was professional and honest. He tested the insulation that was in the attic. The test came back negative for asbestos.

He was very good. They came ad gave me an estimate and took care of what needed to be done. He is honest and told me what needs to be done and what does not.

We asked for an estimate a while ago which they promptly provided to us, and we were very satisfied with the communication from this company. We were required to go back for additional estimates and gather more documentation a few times from them, which they also patiently provided, and each time they were equally gracious. However, the work has not yet been done by anyone, yet, due to a situation beyond everyone's control. In spite of this, I would highly recommend this firm based on how they have treated us so far. Polite and professional.

Ed the owner came to our home to inspect our infected area which needs to be removed. He was professional, knowledgeable, and promptly sent us an estimate. I contacted him about one month later, while waiting for the red tape to filter, for an updated estimate for only one item, not two different items. He sent that fairly quickly again. We are still waiting for the red tape though to subside as we patiently wait to begin this needed work. (Thank you for your help so far.)

Mr. Giannetto investigated the problems, offered his expert advice on possible next steps, and very patiently answered my multiple questions, putting my mind at ease. When I proceed to more permanent mold prevention solutions, I will be using his company. I highly recommend his company to Angie's List members seeking remediation and abatement solutions!

Ed, the QualTech owner, answered my initial call, kept our initial appointment on time, and provided accurate, understandable & specific answers to my questions. He discussed business and costs with the utmost respect for my budget. The company offered a Senior Discount as a referral from Angie's List and they honored it - no hassles! When it came time for the work, Ed brought the Technician to my house - on time, reviewed all the plans for the work and then checked on the progress during the day, both with me and the Tech. The Tech was courteous and skilled, and also answered my questions as the work progressed. I was so pleased with the asbestos removal, that I automatically chose Ed / QualTech for the mold remediation. QualTech provided appropriate certificates both for their credentialing and for their completion of the work. QualTech is a company that deserves positive recognition, and they have mine!

Ed was extremely knowledgable and informative. He did mold testing in my home. Spent extra time easing my anxiety about mold and answering any questions I had. Very patient, genuinely cares.

I needed to have my old floor tiles tested for asbestos before a certain big box home improvement store (the one whose color is orange) would proceed with my order for new flooring. QualTech was the only testing and remediation company that was willing to do the test for me. Almost every other testing company I called didn't want to be bothered with doing the test. I emailed the company on Monday, and was called back by Ed (the owner) the next day. We quickly made an appointment for him to come out and take a sample for testing. Sample was taken on Thursday, the results were in by Monday. Would have been sooner, but it was Memorial Day weekend so I'll cut them some slack. I liked the fact that I dealt directly with Ed and not with a receptionist or call center. He has a great deal of knowledge and experience with this kind of testing. Even before he took the sample, he told me he was very confident that the tiles would not have asbestos. Everything went smoothly and as expected, the test came back negative. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who needs this testing performed, and I would definitely have used him for abatement has the tiles tested positive.

This project went extremely well. He was quick, professional & very thorough. We had absolutely no problems with him and he provided a great service. I highly recommend this contractor!

I hired Qual Tech Corp. to test for mold. There had been a damp, musty smell in my walk-in closet by the dining room area for about 3 weeks. The walk-in closet happens to be directly over the crawl space to my coop. There had been a sewer blockage and a pipe had broken down in the crawl space and I was worried that the dampness had come up into my closet. The owner, Ed Giannetto, answered my telephone message within 1/2 hour of me leaving it. He scheduled the mold test for the next morning. I could not have asked for any faster service. Ed himself tested my unit and my neighbor's unit upstairs for mold. My walk-in closet was the only area found to be contaminated with mold. My neighbor's unit was clear of mold. The areas were tested for mold on a Friday and by Monday night I had the results. Ed came back to clean the mold up 2 days later. I had to remove every single item from the closet and Ed came and sprayed a mold killer/cleanser spray all over the closet. I had to let it dry for 2 hours before putting anything back in the closet. Ed also suggested for me to clean the shelves and area of the closet with Tilex (which kills mold) about once a month going forward to keep the area mold-free. Mr. Giannetto was wonderful to work with, extremely knowledgeable, professional and patiently answered all of our questions and concerns. The rates were reasonable and the service was excellent. If you need a licensed inspector, you and your property will be in the best of hands with Mr. Giannetto and his company. I highly recommend him without reservation.
