HOUSEMASTER OF LONG ISLAND

Went to them for a home inspection on a property we we had purchased. Told us a few things needed to be fixed but missed so many items including an entire bathroom that was leaking into the floor! Also when asked about water spots on ceiling they told us they were dry and to paint over them. The roof in “attic was dry so don’t worry about it” this happened when they returned to argue with us about it. After numerous estimates and opinions we replaced the roof and the bathroom. Upon further inspection recently we noticed, while installing central air, corrosion in the box and the outside service to be in terrible shape. Not being an electrician I was surprised something so blatant and what seems to be staple item to check in a home inspection was missed but what can I expect at this point. They offer a warranty but told me I need to fill out a claim form and that we can’t sue them for more then the inspection fee, sounds professional right?! I do not recommend! Make sure you know who you are using, this cost us thousands

It went great. They helped pick out trouble areas, and went through the whole house to make sure that they didn't miss anything very fast turn around time for the reports too.

They came and did everything they needed to do. They were punctual, and everything went fine and there haven't been any problems. It wasn't too expensive, it was reasonable. I am open to finding another company in the future to compare, but I might use them again.

After moving in, found many problems the inspector NEVER noticed Broken cabinets, tile, wallpaper coming off, cracking on walls, broken locks andc more

The inspector was very knowledgeable and thoroughly said the information about the condition of the house.
