The service is great. They showed up on time and are very professional. They've done work for me before and the work is always exceptional! I would recommend them to anyone!

As planned. Work was well-organized and completed in one day, as promised. We noticed subsequently that one of the posts had a knot in it that could scratch passers-by or snag their clothing; when we called it to the company's attention, they sent a worker out promptly to sand down the know and repair the problem. Otherwise, no surprises.

I cant say enough about the professionalism Decks Unique. While we did not finally go with them I was extremely happy with the service they provided. Jason came out and showed us samples and went over every aspect of the build. He was VERY Knowledgeable and professional. He took the time showing us samples, giving his opinion when asked on what would be best for our particular situation on the front porch and the rear deck. A subsequent visit to the well maintained showroom I met with Louis, the owner. He then took the time with me to go over railings and color schemes that I was interested in. There was no rush or heavy sales pitch. I always felt like they were totally honest and up front. The only reason I didn't chose them to build was my wife over ruled me and gave the job to a friend of the family. I would highly recommend Decks Unique to anyone looking to do any size project. Thank you Louis for taking a complicated process and making it easy for the lay person to understand.....

All the people at Decks Unique were very nice to work with . Very professional at all times through out the whole process.

They are a very knowledgeable company. My wife was very concerned about how hot the decking would get in the sun. So we went down to their showroom which by the way is very nice and they let my wife take her shoes off and walk on the decking to see how they felt in the sun. They worked with my wife to come of with a design we both love and the workmanship is top notch and clean.

Great, They answered all my questions and had good design ideas. Kyriel in the office was especially helpful.

Decks Unique just finished my new deck. I had a great experience with the whole team from start to finish. All my emails and phone calls were responded in a timely manner. The designer listened to all my concerns and paid close attention to what I wanted. The day of the build went smoothly. Excellent workmanship!

I can not say enough about Decks Unique . They are a breath of fresh air and more contractors should take lessons from them. I am a VERY detailed person along with my wife and Decks Unique exceeded our expectations in every area. Jason the design consultant new his stuff ,the crew was clean ,fast and very professional. Our experience with this company has been awful. We have had so many issues with this company, we no longer want to use them and can not trust them. They have not resolved our problem and we have waited 3 months and I am afraid we are going to have to take them to court in order to get them to take responsibility. Our biggest problem with them is that our deck IS THREE DIFFERENT COLORS!! We should have canceled when they didn't show up for install on the original date scheduled. We rescheduled for the following week. The deck was initially installed structurally unsound/ unsafe and they had to come back and fix it. They did not give us the "double picture frame" as was agreed upon, there are corners that aren't mitered, they installed the wrong lattice size, and as I stated above the deck is 3 different colors and they have been unhelpful and nasty. The owner threatened to hang up on me when he finally returned ours calls, he lied to us by saying that he gets the product directly from Tamko which is untrue, he proceeded to tell me that he is the middle man and that he's doing me a favor by even talking to me because this is not his problem. I am horrified and beyond stressed out over the entire experience. I cant believe how hard I am working to get what I already paid for despite what I actually received.

I received a (rather high) estimate with only about 2-3 sentences of description. Having been burnt in the past I called to ask for a more detailed estimate before committing myself. The woman I spoke was very nice and understanding. She said she would pass on my request. That was a couple of weeks ago and I have heard NOTHING. If I am about to spend $15,000 I want to have everything clear. Also the coupon for 10% off has to be presented BEFORE the price is determined. Hmmm....gotta wonder about that!

Decks Unique built my deck in July 2016. From start to finish they were fantastic. Professional, quick and precise. The estimate given was about what I expected to pay. The work done was incredible. My family and neighbors came by to watch all saying the same thing; They never saw a group of guys do such fast, clean and beautiful work without cutting any corners. They came to my house the day of installation and got straight to work in 95 deg. weather. They did their work with great attention to detail. This is the way work should get done when a company is run the right way. Decks Unique is top notch.

My wife and I had been considering a new deck for quite some time. We had multiple consultations and quotes from competing deck companies. The no obligation design services were more then exceptional, which translates the remainder of our experience with Decks Unique Inc. The pricing was straight forward and exactly in the range we'd hoped for. The quality of workmanship and attention to detail did not cease to amaze me from the initial presentation till the completion of our new deck. The owner Lou Pagnutti was at our home to coordinate the work to be completed and answer any question my family or myself had. Our new deck is breathtaking. We could not be happier with the professionalism and reliability of Decks Unique. The craftsmanship speaks for itself. I would not hesitate to hire this company again given the opportunity. A+ rating from me.

The job went smoothly and was completed in about half a day. A very professional company with a nice showroom.

They finished the deck in one day with a crew of approximately 8 men. Initially It looked like it was done and everything went well and was done correctly. it wasn?t until I walked on the finished deck that the issues became clear. The deck is not level, which is extremely dangerous, because it can collapse. In addition to that the deck railings and the deck post was loose. If someone were to lean against the post It was not steady. I was unable to use the deck or have people over to enjoy the deck, so I contacted the company and requested they come repair the issue. I contacted the company in april of 2016 at which time they assured me someone would come out and repair the job. I did not hear back from them nor did anyone come out to do the work promised. I continued to contact the company and was told the same information, and continually encountered the same issue. No response and no resolution or repair. The last time I contacted them I told them that I would be contacting a lawyer if they did not resolve the issue, and this was the final attempt I would make to allow them to remedy their work. I was assured that shortly after the owner would be in touch or contact me in a few days. That was in early June of 2016, since that day, I have still not heard back from the company or the owner. The deck is not level, and eventually it will fall down, and this issue is a very serious matter. Having spent over $20,000 I expect at least a call back from the company. It just seems, to me, that a company with such high ratings would stand by their work. Instead, I feel taken advantage of. I Do not, in any way, recommend, using this company.

Everything went very smoothly. The work was excellent and done quickly. Thomas was very professional and responded to any of my questions/concerned promptly. I would highly recommend Decks Unique and Thomas Gold.

Provider promised to return to correct issues with the deck, but they never returned or answered multiple phone calls. My wife hates the privacy wall that we had asked to have removed. She won't even go out onto the deck. One side of the deck is the wrong color. Additionally, the service was overpriced.

A pleasure to deal with. Prompt, courteous, and professional. Project took 2 days as stated initially. Work started 2 days ahead of schedule. We would use them again if needed, and recommend to family and friends.

From the beginning planning stages of the project until the very end, my wife and I were extremely impressed by the professionalism and speed of this company. Once we agreed on a design from the digital rendering provided by Decks Unique they scheduled us to start work at the end of January, YES, the middle of winter. The old deck was demo'd and carted away in one day. The new, much larger deck was built in three days. The quality of their work is beyond what we could have imagined. This project was a big investment and we are happy we chose Deck's Unique. We would highly recommend this company.

Jason came out and used a high tech computer program to show me what my deck would look like upon completion. He was patient and went through all of the options with me. The work was completed in one day. The men who came were wonderful and they worked hard to build me the perfect deck. Not only do I recommend Decks Unique, but I would use them again in the future! They exceeded my expectations.

Thomas Gold (project manager) and entire crew were great. They showed up exactly as scheduled and got right to work and were very friendly and professional. Great company.

In all respects Lou and his team were total professionals, from Jason the designer, Mark and the team in the the office and the field team. First class! The materials available were many to choose from and their guidance during the selection process helped tremendously! Amazingly, they demolished and removed all materials from the existing deck (around 600 sq ft) and build the new deck (around 500 sq ft) in one day. Their attention to detail and clean up were top notch. They even addressed some minor follow up issues to our total satisfaction. We would highly recommend Decks Unique to friends and family and we would clearly use them again, which by the way won't be necessary with a deck that will last at least 25 years! Great job!

They started at 7:30am and completed the entire job by five pm. Don was was an orchestra leader and player as Mark and Lou Jr. played under their own guidance.Truly a team that has worked together obviously for sometime, as communication was really never spoken as they Understand Donald and what was required. They are just a great crew that knew what the other was thinking. Just a group of men that knew what was required and did it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I chose Decks Unique for the job because they were recommended by my Son-in-Law and had great reviews on Angie's List. All the employees of Decks Unique were very professional starting with the salesman Kevin Fitzpatrick. Kevin took the time to answer all my questions and made recommendations that defenately resulted in a better job. Their crew arrived on time and worked non-stop to remove the existing deck and cart away all the debris in one day. The second day the owner of Decks Unique, Louis Pagnutti, was on site working side by side with his crew installing the new deck, I was very impressed by that.

From the beginning Decks Unique exhibited the professionalism and expertise we were looking for in building our deck. We first called Decks Unique a couple years ago but ended up waiting on the project for a couple of years. When we called back, our contact there, Jason, remembered all of our information and preferences. He wanted to come out again and spent over an hour with us talking about how we wanted our deck constructed and the different materials we could use. The price was a little bit higher than some of the competitors but definitely within the range and probably a bit higher given the quality of materials being used. When Decks Unique finally came to build the deck they worked to expedite the permit process in our town so that we can have the deck in the timeline we requested. They built the deck in only 3 days with a large number of workers working on the project. The owner, Lou, was there and builds each and every deck and spent hours measuring each and every aspect of the project. Our backyard is sloped downward from the house and Lou and his team did an amazing job making sure that the posts and beams were set up that the deck is perfectly level. I had a few follow up requests once the deck was installed and even after the project, Jason and his team was responsive and had his workers out within days of our call. Their attention to detail, quality of workmanship and great employees really sets Deck Unique apart from the competition.

We signed the contract in July, and they did the work on August 7th. It went very well. They were here at 7 am and the deck was finished by 2pm. The employees where sweethearts, like relatives. There were 5 guys. They worked straight though only stopping for lunch. I couldn't ask for anyone better. They deck looks spectacular! I would recommend them to anybody, they are good.
