Allure did an outstanding job on my kitchen remodel. Howie helped me to design what I wanted and Emilio made it all happen. Emilio was very patient and walked me through everything that he was going to do. We were in constant contact for any questions or changes I wanted to make. He aimed to please. I now have my dream kitchen ! I highly recommend this company.

I had a broken Alure remodeled kitchen faucet. Shortly after calling, the parts arrived and a week later a repairman showed up and fixed it in a timely fashion. Jenn in customer service wax kind and very helpful!. Alure was very helpful!

We originally reached out to Alure last spring, and chose them from several contractors who quoted for the project because of their reputation and if I'm honest: just the positive vibe we got from our first meeting with their sales consultant Bob Sansivero. Incidentally, Bob was the only sales person who actually turned up when he said he would which - when you're taking a day off work to have someone come to your home - was a refreshing change. Anyway, Bob looked at our wish list, our budget and had numbers back to us in minutes. He's a proper gent. After meeting with our (exterior) designer Omar, Alure connected us with an expeditor to help us navigate the permit process. Because of where our home is, and Covid shutdowns the permitting process dragged on for months and probably wouldn't have happened without our planning expert Diane, who was in constant contact with the village on our behalf. With the permits in place, the remodel was super quick. I received a call from Tim (Olson) the day the permits arrived, and his team started the following Monday. The roof went up in a day. The siding and windows were replaced within a week. The only hold-up was a long wait for a new front door, but that happened on the supply side. Tim's team did an incredible job. We're delighted with the quality of the work. To give you an idea of the attention to detail, when the roof was going up they had a guy combing our lawn with magnets to catch any stray nails that came off the roof. I cannot recommend Alure and (especially) Tim Olson's team highly enough.

They did a great job in updating my outdated half bath.

I can't say enough good things about this company! In the spring, we contacted them to do a major kitchen renovation, which involved removing a wall, gutting and re framing the old kitchen and dining area, putting in and finishing a new wood floor, and installing all new cabinets, counter tops, and appliances. Two designers came to our home to give us a rough estimate and plan for the renovation. We told them that we had plans to go away in July, and that we were entertaining house guests the following week, so we needed the job done by the 11th. They said it could be done, and so we signed on. The following week, we went to their showroom, and what a pleasure it was to have samples of cabinets, counter tops, back splashes, etc. all in one place! We gave our designer a budget figure for what we could afford, and she spent hours with us picking out everything, and meeting our exact budget figure. After a second visit to the showroom, we had everything finalized. A few weeks later, cabinets were delivered, a demolition crew arrived to begin the work, followed by framers, carpenters, plumbers, and electricians. Each time a work crew came to our house, our project manager was there to make sure all went according to plan. He coordinated everything, including working with the appliance store to arrange for timely delivery of the new refrigerator, range, and microwave we ordered. In addition, our designer came back periodically to make sure we were happy with the progress of the work, even though her work was already completed. By the beginning of July, everything began to come together, and it was beginning to look like the kitchen we dreamed of. Within a few days, the kitchen was usable, and the only major work to be done was to stain and finish the floor. After that was done, the carpenters returned to clean up our "punch list" of minor details to be completed. They did everything - and did it well - ON JULY 11! If you are looking for a company that handles and coordinates every phase of your renovation, then Alure is for you.

Alure made the whole process of our bath remodel easy and stress free

Alure did my kitchen and bathroom, windows, siding, roof and installed the Corning basement system to my converted garage, which is now a spa/hot tub room. I had to have them come back to fix numerous mistakes, (pinhole in the shower plumbing, gap in the siding, no caulking on the window/siding seal) and now I have to replace their "30 year roof" after 13 years. I started having issues with the roof years ago and only got excuses. Now I have leaks and they say that we should share financial responsibility. At one point I was told my "half" would be $7,000. I just had an estimate that would strip the entire roof to the rafters and start fresh for $9,000. Stay away from them!!!

Allure does great quality work but they promise a 10 day kitchen. Ours took a few months. This in part because of failing inspections. They didn't seem to have a good enough relationship with the city. We waited for weeks just to get someone out then they would fail us. We then had to wait weeks more. The communication was not good. We had our bathrooms done by another contractor later and that contractor went to the county office to insure the inspector would arrive (considering we had no bathrooms). He was very serious about no holdups. With allure we felt once we signed the dotted line the urgency ceased, along with the wonderful care we received before signing. Hoping they can fix this because they do provide quality work. We love our kitchen. Maybe they shouldn't even promise 10 days.

It was a beautiful spring day in 2006; I spotted the Alure showroom and kind of on impulse decided to go in. I didn’t know anyone who had used them, but the name was familiar and we were about to embark on an extensive home improvement project: enlarging our bedroom, adding a master bath and walk-in closet/dressing room, remodeling two existing bathrooms and the kitchen, and replacing windows, siding, gutters and doors. An architect had drawn up plans, we’d applied for permits and were interviewing contractors. But when my husband got home that night, I told him: “This may sound crazy because they haven’t even priced out the job, but I have a feeling we’re going to use Alure.” We didn’t know the finer points of home improvement – it had been a long time since we’d had anything done in our 70+ year-old house – but we knew that we needed skilled, knowledgeable and patient experts not only to design and do the work well but also to guide us and hold our hands through the process. I left the Alure showroom that day feeling confident and excited for the first time since we’d decided to remodel our home. What I didn’t know then was just how important a role Alure would ultimately play in the completion of our project. The original plan was for Alure to just do the new master bath and remodel the two existing bathrooms and kitchen, as they told us they weren’t doing extensions or new construction at that time. We finally got the permits; the general contractor we chose began the job; and working with our designer at Alure, all of the bathroom and kitchen design and pre-production work was completed. And then, several weeks into the new construction, our contractor disappeared. To make a long and very frustrating story short, a guardian angel named Doug, Alure’s VP of Operations, came to our rescue. He and Rich, then head of the service department, came to the house to see what remained to be done. They assigned staff from various departments to order and install replacement windows and interior doors, do moulding and trim, repair floor boards in the new bedroom and add floor boards and insulation in the attic, complete the siding and the columns on the porch, install leaders and gutters, and to tie up all of the other loose ends that remained, as work on the baths and kitchen got underway. I did a 5 day bathroom with them about 6 years ago and it was the best decision my family ever made. We had a horror story with our downstairs bathroom and 3 different contractors needed to come in to finish it and I went from store to store picking up all the different materials so when we were ready to do the upstairs bathroom, I was not going with a fly by night company. We got several estimates and Alure was close to the same price, but they offered so much more. I did not have to go pick out things in different stores, they brought the showroom to you and we were able to pick out everything at our kitchen table. We sat with a designer who looked at our taste around the house and was able to help guide us into picking the right color scheme, materials and help with the layout. We always assumed that since we had a 60 inch 1 sink vanity, that was what we would replace there, but with some guidance from our designer, they gave options and showed us with a 48 inch vanity, we would still get the counter space that we wanted, but it would open up the room and make it actually feel bigger. We optioned for the shower doors that had the bubble effect so that you couldn't see right through the glass, and it would give it a decorative look as well. With the pulse shower unit and rain shower that we put in the shower, it made it feel like a spa. To complete our bathroom, we fell in love with a tile we saw at the showroom in one of their displays and that was the final touch that we needed. 6 years later, it still looks brand new!

The work was completed within the promised time frame and everyone was very pofessional. Emilio, the foreman, was extremely pleasant and answered my phone calls right away when a pipe sprung a leak and had to be replaced. They did a nice job, only a few touch ups are needed where the walls were scratched and paint peeled off upstairs. I'm sure they will return after New Year's to do that touch up.

Make sure everything they said they will do is on paper and don't assume the workers are professional enough to know everything. Know what they are going to do before they start the work. The job supposed to be completed in 7 days. It's over 30 days, and it's still not completed. I am still waiting for the shower door as of today. I guess I am just having bad luck with them.
