The job went great they came in on a Monday and gutted the entire bath, the electrician came in on Monday in the afternoon and ran his new electric and fixtures, fan and was finished that day. They also cut my water lines to the old tub and sink and also the toilet and had the water back on with new valves that day. Day two they installed all new sheetrock and concrete wonder board for the new shower conversion. they also had to mud the floor for the installation of the new tile which they installed that day. On the third day they finished installing the tile and finished the grouting. On the forth and final day they installed all the plumbing fixtures, vanity, toilet, lighting covers and installed new baseboard heat, that was tested that day.They cleaned the bathroom and removed all there extra material from the site. We had to wait a few days to use the new shower but we could use the toilet and sink that day. I was amazed how much work they got done in a day. They always told me what they were doing and asked me if I approved. I loved the job so much I just called them to install new doors in my house, I would recommend them highly. One of other nice things is that you pick out all the fixtures , vanity, tile, lighting in the confort of your home. The bathroom looks Great. And a bonus is that you call their cleaning service to come in when you are ready.

I have GC'd 2 bathrooms and 2 Kitchens and I never had a contractor like Alure come in and deliver a complete new bathroom. The Alure process went according to their plan. Bill Coen, the Alure salesman was very professional and knowledgeable. Bill's detailed explanation of the process put us at ease and his guidance with selecting fixtures and tiles was outstanding. The second phase of the project, actual demo and rebuild went off as planned. Alure assigned Freddie, an outstanding carpenter, plumber and tile man as the installer. As promised the job was completed in 5 days. Throughout the job, Fred asked if we were pleased with the work. Would recommend. and use again.

They were fantastic. I had one or two small problems, and they came back without any issue! The kitchen came out beautifully, and they were exactly on time with their proposed schedule. They were neat and professional, and I was left extremely pleased!

The project went great. The men doing the work were very professional. They did the work quickly and efficiently. They kept things very neat and were finished on-time. There were a couple of minor things to be touched up after they completed the job and Alure was accommodating in getting it done correctly.

Priced exorbitantly and insidiously high. Comparing work done with other reviewers and competitors, - absolutely unwarranted. First, awful experience with designer Mike who rescheduled on me 3 times only to be a complete NO-SHOW and NO-CALL on the scheduled day. Unprofessionalism and poor reflection of the company to the highest degree. Gave them another chance with another designer Bob, because I truly wanted to work with Alure. He did no better. He was informed upfront what the max budget was, but completely ignored it and continued to mislead us along. We even DOUBLED our initial max budget to work things out, but his debility to come to an agreement and disrespect of the budget was a complete waste our time! He should have stated up front if he wouldn't be able to work with the budget as not to waste everyone's time. I would never recommend such an unprofessional and unconscionably priced company like this. Most of the reviewers here seemed to share the same negative experience regarding this. Absolutely unhappy.

The designer was very personable, but the price was about twice what we were able to get from another contractor recommended by members on Angie's List. So we did not continue with Alure.

We were very happy with the process. It started with a consultant, Billy Coen, coming to our home to give an estimate. He spent significant amount of time with us explaining everything. Once we decided to use Alure, he returned another time and spent hours helping us choose cabinet shapes, colors, tile colors, backsplashes, countertops, bathroom accessories, and everything else we needed to start the process. Since we chose to have the bathroom and kitchen completed at the same time, we were told to expect about a 2 week time from start to finish. Work started on July 7th with a demolition crew and the foreman Alex coming to check on the work. The following day we had a team of two contractors, two plumbers, and two electricians working on our house. For the next two weeks, steady work continued everyday (with the exception of weekends) from 8:30 to 5pm. The team of Chris and his partner (the contractors) were extremely professional. They often asked us what we wanted to make sure things were done correctly. They left the house at the end of the day neat and cleaned up what they were working on. The plumbers (Ryan and Brian) also worked with us and even added an extra plumbing line for us. Several times during the process we had Billy or another representative from Alure come to check up on the work. All supplies were delivered in a timely manner. And both the kitchen and bathroom were completely done by the following Friday (a 2 week period). We were very happy with the results of the kitchen and bathroom. Additionally, Patricia who worked behind the scenes (in the Alure offices) was extremely helpful. Any time we had a question or concern, she was always available to provide a solution. While the price of Alure may have been slightly higher than other companies, the convenience and speed was worth the extra money. All materials were provided by Alure and we did not have to spend time visiting plumbing supply stores, cabinet stores, etc. which was very helpful and saved us a lot of time and energy. We were very impressed that the work was actually completed in the two week period that we were promised. We would recommend Alure to others looking to do home improvements. We were very satisfied with the professionalism of the employees as well as the quality of the work and materials, and the final product.

on the day of our estimate they sent a salesman name Billy Coen . Billy was Very friendly ,informative ,professional and knowledgeable about what we wanted. He suggested certain things which we took his advice. We did get another estimate elsewhere which I felt we weren't getting more for our money so we decided to hire alure. Billy came back to my house to finalize everything from cabinets to flooring etc.. we got the 10 day home improvement.. we signed the contract. Even though we picked things out there were changes I wanted to make and Billy came back to the house ...and accommodated me...Justin Bouchard was the job supervisor and whenever I had a question he would call back and answer it for me- alure is well structured in schedules and gave me a calendar on the first day to let me know who was working that day and what they were doing. Contractors are friendly and worked hard. Of course there were certain things I noticed and they came back to fix it. With any job there will be glitches so at the end of the 10 th day there were a few things that still had to be done. And within the following 2weeks it was done. Within that time we decided to redo our wood floors in the dining and living rm(Harris floors)also contracted through alure. The floors came out beautiful. Alure also gave me a certificate for a free cleaning of my new kitchen ,which I greatly appreciated.(Stella's cleaning )talked to Stella and we set up a day -Two of her girls cleaned my kitchen .We are very happy with Alure and already have referred them to our friends and would use them in the future

Alure was outstanding and professional throughout the entire process. This was by far, the best home improvement experience ever. Their salesman John, went above and beyond to make things go smoothly throughout the process along with Dominic, the supervisor. Sal and Yuris and the crew were immaculate and precise and the job was really perfect. I am a picky person when it comes to having work done, but I would not hesitate to recommend Alure to anyone and will use them for all my future work.

After a good meeting at the house, we never heard back from our designer again. We reached out several times only to have him tell us he was going to get back to us the following week. When we never heard again we told him we were moving on.

It was phenomenal. I was taking down my old home, if something failed, I would have had no place to live. I needed 100% faith and trust in them. They proved to me that they have 1000% of knowledge and integrity. I am beyond pleased with the experience and I am fortunate that I chose Alure because they came through.....on time......at the original cost.......and communicated with me every day.

Alure gave our house pizazz. They did brick removal, siding, front porch, portico, and back steps. We knew the upgrade was fantastic; especially when the UPS driver passed the house, backed up, and then commented how much better it looked. Our neighbor admired the porch columns so much that her husband thanked us for having to hear how much she wants a porch too. Of course this magical transformation was completed by an awesome team. From the beginning, we were impressed with John Bernaudo, exterior designer. His no pressure consultation made us feel at ease and confident with choosing Alure. He was very knowledgeable and accessible. John maintained constant communication with us and periodically visited to make sure everything was going smoothly. He also was very helpful with choosing the right products to keep us within budget while maintaining our design. At the showroom we met with the talented Omar (sorry I don't have his last name). He transformed a photo of our house into various renderings of the final product. He was very patient and attentive. He understood how important these design decisions were and made changes for every request we made. He and John also took the time to research shingles and siding so the new construction would match the existing. Our project manager, Dan Salvagni, got the hammers going. He was very receptive to the input provided as the construction moved along. He respected our opinions and concerns. If we saw something, we said something, and Dan got it done. His team worked efficiently and were meticulous with getting things completed precisely. Alure's customer service team is also very helpful. Months after the project was completed, I noticed some warped lattice, and the cosmetic detail on a back step was askew. I spoke with Cathy Biggers who directed my concerns to the service tech. Needless to say they corrected the problems within a week. Thank you Alure for making my house beautiful.

Things went well. Alure's representative, Billy.Coen, was nice and helped us select the options we needed. The workers arrive promptly and got right down to work each day. Even when there were little delays, the whole project was completed on schedule.Alure promised a five day remodel, and that is what we got. They used quality products and upgraded to the latest building codes, using mildew resistant dry wall and installing a ground fault outlet that weren't available when the house was built. We were able to convert the bathtub to a shower with an additional hand held sprayer and a seat inside the shower, which they had to build. The fixtures were fine quality and with the latest water saving features. When they finished, they didn't leave a mess behind, and we got a coupon for a cleaning crew to come and do the bathroom. Those cleaners also did a good job.

Alure was a great company they coordinated and informed me of the times and people that will be there doing my job. They were there at the exact time schedule they estimated... The contractors were professional and very respectful of the surroundings. John Bernardo and his team kept me in the loop throughout the day. They checked up with me and how things were and even after they were compete John contacted me for my after thoughts and still six month after checks in with his work. I had assumed that Alure Home Improvement was an expensive company, they were not the lowest/highest bid for the job ( I had received quotes from 4 companies. Alure came in at third highest. ) The piece of mind and professionalism that comes with their company is worth it. We will be looking to install siding and will be reaching out to Alure for this process.

The service team at Alure was extremely responsive and very helpful, from my first phone call to the last visit to my home where the necessary repairs were completed quickly. The workers were kind and worked neatly. They answered all of my questions and made sure I was satisfied before leaving my home.

Could not be more pleased with ALURE. We have used them for many projects and have found them to be courteous and professional and responsive in every aspect of each job. We are been thrilled with the quality and pride in workmanship. Highly recommend!

We went with there 5 day Bathroom remodel and they were able to do it in 4 days. This was our main bathroom and we were pleased to have it done sooner then expected. Greg was our designer and did a great job helping us design our new bathroom look. Emilio was our contact and was always there to answer any questions we had and made sure all was good. Vladimir and his helper were very meticulous in there work. We will use Allure again for any home improvements and recommend them.

Very well. We had a great experience with our salesperson, Diane Powers. She went above and beyond and catered to all of our questions and needs. She worked tirelessly to make sure we were completely satisfied and happy. Pat Zukowsky was also an intricate part by making sure everything was completed in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend Alure for all home improvement needs!

It was a beautiful spring dayin 2006; I spotted the Alure showroom as I was driving on HempsteadTurnpike, and kind of on impulse decided to go in. I didn?t know anyone who had used them, but the name was familiar (Maybe I?d seen the maroon and gold vans around the island?) and we were about to embark on an extensive home improvement project: enlarging our bedroom, adding a master bath and walk-in closet/dressing room, remodeling two existing bathrooms and the kitchen, and replacing windows, siding, gutters and doors. An architect had drawn up plans, we?d applied for permits and were interviewing contractors. But when my husband got home that night, I told him: ?This may sound crazy because they haven?t even priced out the job, but I have a feeling we?re going to use Alure.? We didn?t know the finer points of home improvement ? it had been a long time since we?d had anything done in our 70+ year-old house ? but we knew that we needed skilled, knowledgeable and patient experts not only to design and do the work well but also to guide us and hold our hands through the process. I left the Alure showroom that day feeling confident and excited for the first time since we?d decided to remodel our home. What I didn?t know then was just how important a role Alure would ultimately play in the completion of our project. The company was part of the ?Extreme Home Makeover? series; let?s call our ?episode? ?Extreme Homeowner Salvation.? The original plan was for Alure to just do the new master bath and remodel the two existing bathrooms and kitchen, as they told us they weren?t doing extensions or new construction at that time. We finally got the permits ? a very long, drawn-out process; the general contractor we chose began the job; and working with our designer at Alure, all of the bathroom and kitchen design and pre-production work was completed. And then, several weeks into the new construction, our contractor disappeared. To make a long and very frustrating story short, a guardian angel named Doug, Alure?s VP of Operations, came to our rescue. He and Rich, then head of the service department, came to the house to see what remained to be done. They assigned staff from various departments to order and install replacement windows and interior doors, do moulding and trim, repair floor boards in the new bedroom and add floor boards and insulation in the attic, complete the siding and the columns on the porch, install leaders and gutters, and to tie up all of the other loose ends that remained, as work on the baths and kitchen got underway. My initial impression of Alure that first day in the showroom proved to be spot on. All of the work was completed to our satisfaction ? pretty much within our original budgets and time frame. Along the way there were a few things that weren?t working out as expected, but our designer, Jim, and project manager, Mike, always figured out a way to achieve a result that was OK with us. Everyone who worked in our home was skilled, reliable (very important especially after our bad experience!), courteous and neat ? and if they ever became annoyed at our repetitive and maybe silly questions or attention to details, they never showed it. Even a few years later, when little things popped up that require service, we have been accommodated in a timely fashion and never made to feel that we have worn out our welcome. So is it any wonder that we have been happy to recommend Alure without hesitation, and are delighted (but not surprised) when others are as satisfied with their jobs as we have been.

It all went great! All was exactly on schedule from the drop off of the dumpster to the onset of the work - following the calendar of work to be done exactly for two weeks. In fact, the new appliances were scheduled in the calendar to avoid confusion and extra movement of such. I had put this off for years due to my indecision regarding just how to update. Thanks to Billy Coen, our ultra-patient, professional, knowledgeable and friendly designer, we got a great plan in place. We opted to keep our old moldings, plaster ceilings, etc. to keep the feel of our very old home. Billy met with us again and again to help us make the plan work to suit our needs/wants. His eye and experience to know how the work will turn out is what made this all possible for us. We had a bit of a hiccup at the end of the work and had to rely on vendors that were not as responsive and timely as I would have hoped. BUT - having had bad experiences with construction in the past it was not a big surprise. I would have liked a bit more contact as we waited for the last bits of work to be done, but it is what it is, as they say. Our kitchen is beautiful, the materials used are tops and we are overall thrilled. Our crazy, warped floors are now beautiful and level. Billy continued to follow up regarding the work and how we were doing/feeling during the process.

The process went very smoothly from start to finish. From our first meeting with Billy Coen to the projects completion. Billy was extremely helpful with all the various samples and knowledgeable. His expertise made the process easy and enjoyable. The 5 day remodel was perfect, and I will use Alure for my next project. I would recommend Alure to anyone interested in doing a remodel.

My husband and I did our research and made the decision to go with alure on a kitchen remodel a few years ago. We loved the whole process and how well things went, so much that we then decided that this was our go-to company. Right after our kitchen, we wanted to also redo two baths, our roof, windows, doors, and a beautiful porch with alure! They had great workers and wonderful customer service throughout. The workers set on my home remodeling were always polite, clean, and trustworthy. We highly recommend this company to anyone - they finish what they start on time, stand behind their high standard of work, and didn't have any hidden cost. They're a big company, but treat you like part of their family.
