The roof was a one day job. Alure arrived on time, removed the old roof (all three layers), added a vent ridge as our old roof was not properly vented, and put on the new roof. Just before they finished, a storm came up and made the finish a challenge. The crew was hammering shingles on in the rain! The job was done on time, despite the storm, and clean up was a as promised. After they left, you couldn't tell there had been a crew there that day. For the bathroom, we chose Alure's five day bathroom package. We spoke to other contractors and, as the prices came out about the same, chose Alure because of the five day package and the fact that they brought all samples and materials to us so we didn't have to buy anything. My husband and I both work full time, so don't have the time and energy to buy tiles and tub and toilet and... The first day was demolition of the old bathroom. As with the roof, the crew arrived on time. The demolition job was very clean and they crew swept up after they finished. Day Two was busy. It began with electrical work, followed by plumbing and some sheet rock. Days Three and Four saw great improvement with the installation of tub and tile, toilet and sink. Day Five was finishing touches. Each day they arrived on time and worked hard! The guys were personable, which is a bonus. Our house is 100 years old, so there was a glitch with the plumbing, but that got taken care of quickly and easily. When we signed the contract, we were told that due to the age of the house, it may be necessary for the crew to come a few hours on the sixth day to finish up detail work. Not only did they NOT need that time, but they finished earlier than expected on Friday. I was NOT looking forward to the demolition of our only bathroom, but it was a pleasant experience. Our new bathroom is beautiful and we love it!

The process began with the kitchen designer Mary Lotardo who discussed my ideas for the kitchen, made renderings of the design and helped tremendously through the selection of all relevant materials.Their showroom is very extensive and varied and I found everything I needed there. Mary also worked within my budget. The project manager was Joe C. who scheduled all the relevant teams in an extremely organized way. and oversaw their work. I found all the teams from demolition, plumbing, electrical,countertop,tile setters, and cabinet makers to be very professional and efficient. The completion of the kitchen took longer than it ordinarily would have because I made several trips between stages of completion. It took about 8 weeks even with my interruptions. The major snafu was an error in the kitchen counter top order, but Joe reordered the correct style and expedited it's completion. We also found after demolition that the washer/dryer could not be moved because of my condo's venting system. Joe, Mary and the cabinet makers then found a very creative way to deal with the situation of an extra cabinet and drawers which had been ordered to be placed where the washer would have been located. In all I found Alure to be very responsive to my concerns and willing to rectify anything that might have been problematic, They also provide a free cleaning service when the work is finished. I love my new kitchen. It is more spacious, bright and works so much more efficiently. The design flows and all the components compliment each other beautifully. The bathroom is also vastly improved. I would definitely recommend Alure for any renovation and would use them again for future projects.

I'm very happy to see that Alure wanted to make good on the bad first impression. They have alot to offer and hopefully we can get the job done that will satisfy both of us. Can't ask for more than that.

The installation went very well. They did an excellent job of workmanship and I was very happy with the end result. Both the initial salesman Billy and the foreman Joe Russo did an excellent job. I will use this company in the future.

The designer was very helpful in making decisions about layout and materials. She also kept following up to make sure we were satisfied. There were problems such as ordering the wrong light fixtures and tile, but all problems were resolved to our satisfaction. When the tile we ordered was discontinued, they helped us find a creative solution. The job took longer than they said it would, but it was done well, and one and a half years later we have had no problems. Overall, we felt that we got a lot of attention and quality work.

Was very impressed with the company. I REALLY wanted to get multiple estimates, but my wife was sold after the in-home sales visit occurred. The guy brought (Ron Mulder (spelling?)) basically a mini bathroom with A LOT of samples from cabinets, tile, fixtures--even grout colors! Surely we could have spent less if we used some of these real small companies but no way would we have gotten this service and precision--and speed. (five days, with two guys basically--it's unheard of!). Emilio did a good job managing the project, Patricia Tallini was EXTREMELY professional , prompt and helpful on the phone (she called back within seconds if I had a question), and the installers were great--Vlad and...well, his partner (who's name is escaping me). The issue we had with the project was because the demolition crew came in the afternoon instead of morning, things were delayed a bit, and one of the fixtures was cracked (Not Alure's fault, was the manufacturer of the Jacuzzi tub), but with that, they STILL finished the bath in about 5 days. They REALLY were clean/neat as well. They covered everything well---even went in the basement and covered items there, just in case some dust traveled from 1st floor to the basement. The reason you go with a company like this rather than some small , 1-2 man shop was they coordinate all the facets (electrician, deliveries, carting all the existing 'mess' away) and because of the dedicated project manager and office support. Definitely would use them again for - something.

My husband & I are in love with our new Alure kitchen! We wanted a company that would do the entire job from concept to completion... design, product and installation. They did an amazing job remodeling our kitchen, connecting rooms and hallway - from start to finish! A stress-bearing wall was removed and header beam was put in place. Sherry was great as she stepped up through the design process and helped us with our choices. Every step of the way we felt that we were in good hands. We were scheduled to have our kitchen done before Christmas and changed our minds and right away they said that it would be no problem to schedule remodeling for after the holidays. Jay was our project manager and he was always available overseeing our job. All the tradesmen were very skilled, professional and respectful of our home. They made it clear, sometimes in words of their own, that Alure holds them to highest possible standards. All the wiring and plumbing was replaced. There was incredible attention to detail. At the last minute we changed the design of the backsplash and again they were accommodating. We always felt that our satisfaction was their top priority. What impressed us the most, during construction, is the way they handled anything that came up. There were a few minor instances that an item needed to be addressed but after speaking with our project manager, the issue at hand was immediately resolved to our satisfaction. Nothing ever seemed to be a problem. We may have paid a little more than the other guy for our remodeling but it was worth every penny. We miss seeing our Alure "friends" regularly and now that we know how stress free remodeling can be we are planning other jobs for Alure and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Alure renovated our 60 year old drab bathroom and turned it into a place we?re all quite proud of. Their design process was very customer friendly. The interaction between our designer, Blythe, and my wife and me was extraordinary. Every component was a choice presented to you for selection, down to the knobs on the cabinets. Alure?s selection of items was so large, there was no need to chase around town for what we wanted. We had some demanding requirements but we were not rushed into a design we were not comfortable with. Our ideas, with suggestions from our designer turned into a written plan which included several stages, a list of specific materials which would be used, a payment schedule based on the progress of the work and computerized drawings incorporating everything. Next, the Project Manager came to review the site before demolition and double checked what was entailed and pointed out some variables, like possible relocation of plumbing. The dumpster came on time and was quietly set down an hour before the demolition crew came. The crew prepared the surrounding area for the unavoidable dust which would follow in a manner that clearly showed respect for our property. They vacuumed the area daily. The materials came and were checked for accuracy. When they found a non-matching box of tiles, they worked the phones and the tile distributor delivered the correct item on the same day. Whenever a question arose during the installation, Alure?s people always responded and presented options. The final product was magnificent. They even sent a cleaning crew at the end. Would I use Alure again? Actually, we did use them again! We had such a positive experience that we had Alure redesign our basement. A new crew, specialized in basement renovation, headed by our designer, Greg had the same approach with the same outstanding results. Alure may cost more than a less developed contractor, but the result is priceless.

Tiled shower to ceiling along with walls tiled using decorated glass tiles midway. Installed a bench for n shower and glass sliding doors New vanity and toilet All in all the job was supervised Karol and Egor where superb,tile men.Also Joe Russo the Supervisor where great to work with Special thanks to Billy Cohen for putting together a wonderful package. It took a couple of visits, but they finally sent out someone to look at the situation, and eventually get the hookup correctly done. But for my 90 year old father it was terribly inconvenient and upsetting.

Their service is excellent and they guarantee their work for 5 years, after the time of finish. They even touched up some painting for me too. They did a beautiful job and they actually designed the full kitchen for me; they opened up the whole kitchen and now it is functional and works much better. It looks bigger too. I was able to work with the designer who designed the kitchen and bathroom. They did whatever I wanted them to do. Their service is wonderful. Everyone is polite and they cleaned up after themselves.

The project went very well. Alure was extremely courteous and professional. The quality of the job was top notch and they went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied and to see the project to its end. Special thanks and recognition to John Bernardo, my sales rep. Also, special thanks to Ed Akel and Izzy, the guys who actually did the work, for a job well done.

In 1998 we needed a major kitchen renovation. We meet and interviewed several contractors until we were told about Alure from several friends who had work done by them. After meeting with them we hired them to do our kitchen. The end result was amazing and we couldn't of been happier. In 2010 we needed a bathroom renovation to the hall bathroom. We contacted Alure and meet with Marylou Arcuri our designer who had a passion for making our dream come true. Marylou sat with us as we went through the design process and showed a keen intuition of what we wanted. The end result was another beautiful project. Alure has a way of committing to a project so that it flows very smoothly. They arrange for all facets of the job from the plumbers, electricians and tile installer to the main project installer. There response to a service call is excellent. We had an issue with a seam in the granite counter top in the kitchen 8 years after the installation. In three days after contacting them we had the granite people over to fix it. We are about to start our third project with Alure, a master bath renovation. Marylou to the rescue.

Went to Alure showroom and got the sales pitch, set up appointment and worked our schedules to accommodate. Date and time came but Alure didn't. They were a no show, no call, no apologies. A Full Year later they are still calling me asking if I'm interested in their services now... I had to call them back to ask them to stop calling! If they wanted my business perhaps they should have showed up...

From start to finish Alure was a pleasure to work with. Chris Anne met with us multiple times to help us select our tile, flooring, fixtures and more. She gave us great advice on designing our bathroom and worked within our budget to ensure a beautiful and affordable new bathroom. Our project was scheduled for a convenient time. Our project manager, Justin was also a pleasure to work with. He was available any time we called to ask a question. He called us numerous times to make sure everything was going along smoothly. Lucas and Paul who did the work were professional, courteous and did excellent work. The tiling work and flooring look amazing. They were constantly consulting us as they went along making sure we were happy with the progress. I definitely recommend Alure and their team! I am thrilled with how our bathroom turned out!

this company is AWSOME. My designer was Blythe. Her design was amazing for both areas. Her attention to the smallest detail was unbelievable. My project manager Joe. I cannot sing enough praises. He was professional,responsive and on site every day to check on work being done. Addressed all my questions, concerns and made the job happen seamlessly. Every group of workers from demo to completion were amazing. They were professional, skilled and courteous. Each night each group of workers left my home clean. The kitchen and bathroom met and exceeded my expectations. As for the pricing, you only get what you pay for. If you want a quality job you pay a quality price. I highly recommend Alure. One stop shopping was great. Everything was taken care of right down to the hardware on the cabinets. Blythe helped us pick out everything. Cabinets, flooring,counter,hardware,back splash, faucet, sink...... I was amazed at how thorough the process was. I had my kitchen done 28 years ago, I had done much of the leg work, ordering supplies, cabinets,etc. the job was nice. The experience exhausting. What a big difference when you work with a company that does it all. When you read reviews..... Remember to see if the people with the negative reviews actually had the work done. Before going with Alure, I asked friends if they heard of Alure. Not only had they heard of Alure but had work done and highly recommended them to me. Thank you Blythe and Joe for a wonderful process and a fantastic job.

They were fantastic, you can't beat their services. They guarantee their work 5 years after they perform the service. They are great!

This was our second bathroom renovation with Alure. Salesperson, Linda Cesarini, was extremely prompt, very professional and personable, as was the prior salesperson with the first bathroom renovation. The shop at home service was very convenient, many selections from which to choose. Linda was VERY patient and spent quite a bit of time with us showing sample combinations and offering many good suggestions. After all was said and done, we followed up with a visit to the showroom and subsequently changed the vanity top selection. Although the crew, Diego & Noel, showed up on time their plans were interrupted as the demolition crew came in the afternoon rather than the morning as scheduled, which delayed the electrition a day as well. However, the crew did not waste any time, they proceeded to unpack the equipment, which was stored in the garage, and put together as much of the fixtures as they could. They worked together like a well oiled machine. They were extremely polite and would ask questions about our specifications along the way (ie placement of light fixture, grab bars, towel bars, mirror, etc). At the end of the day, all was cleaned and ready for the next day. The supervisor, Emilio, and office staff contacted us along the way to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. The entire job was done within 4 days. The bathroom came out beautiful. Our only regret is that this shower tower is not as practical as the one that was installed in the first bathroom renovation (model was no longer available). The few adjustments that had to be made after completion were done timely. Alure stands behind their work. They even provided a complimentary room cleaning. We highly recommend Alure.

The project was run in an efficient and organized manner. The crew were careful to cover the floor and furniture to prevent dust and dirt from settling on them. They braced the second floor while replacing the support header so the walls could be removed giving the house a larger appearance. Their drywall contractor did a perfect job with the sheetrock installation and joint compound finishing. When the painter was done, you never knew there was any construction done. Then, about ten months after the project was completed, I noticed a crack along the ceiling where the brace was used and the corner of the wall in the room above also had a crack. I emailed Alure pictures and an explanation of what had appeared. They were extremely polite and helpful. They sent someone over immediately to assess the situation. Sent in drywall crew to repair the cracks. The painter came soon after to give the drywall its final coat, prime and paint. All this took several months because I only noticed the crack in November. I was in no hurry to get it repaired, especially since the Holidays were upon us. They were sympathetic to my situation and said just call us when you are ready. Once I was available, they responded immediately. I used Alure to do work in my previous house in Manhasset and was very satisfied which is why I called them again to work on my new house in Floral Park. Dan Salvagni 516-241-5802 was the project manager for both homes and is a great guy to work with. I did not look for other prices because I know they are reasonable. In addition, they offer no interest payment plan which works well with my budget. A definite 5 Star recommendation for Alure.

5 days of beautifully executed steps to completely replace all phases of a wonderful bathroom makeover. We were given daily phone updates of the planned daily activities to be performed, as well as solving any daily question we had. All activities were accomplished and completed as planned. It was an extremely satisfying home improvement experience. The production supervisor was there at least, once a day to assure all steps were accomplished, as well as fantastic immediate followup support. Although the job was satisfactorily completed more than 4 months ago, Alure still keeps in touch to make sure we know, they are always available to solve any issues that may arise.

We are very satisfied with the work we had completed by Alure Home improvements. We met with John Bernaudo to discuss job scope and details. He was very professional and patient with all our questions. We then visited the showroom to see a digital design of our options. Everyone was friendly and helpful. A visit from the project manager and a window installer was set up. Both gentleman were polite and helpful. We agreed to the work in January and it was completed last week and we are very satisfied. The first day of project John and Project Manager Edward Akel was at the site introduced crew and reviewed job details. The supervisor of the siding crew was Jorge. Jorge was extremely patient with all our attention to details and went above and beyond to assure we were pleased and satisfied with the work. We had some changes to vent coverings and they were handled seamlessly with corrections implemented the next day. Never was anyone unavailable throughout this process - and for anyone dealing with home improvements would know that customer service is key to a successful experience. I would highly recommend Alure for any home improvement job you may be considering. We look forward to working with them again.

Mary was incredible easy to work with and very professional. Her drawings captured the changes that I had described and she had an amazing knack for choosing colors and styles to show me that matched my taste and fit my budget. She really held my hand throughout the whole selection process and made the experience enjoyable rather than intimidating.She discussed price points and timelines for everything. The Alure showroom has a wide variety of displays and materials so it helps you to visualize your design choices. I am looking forward to the completion of the renovations

We had a wonderful experience with Alure Home Improvements. Starting with the in-home consultation with Billy, the entire experience was positive. Billy immediately made us feel comfortable by explaining every detail until we were confident that we understood the process and our options. We never felt pressured to purchase a more expensive option. That same day, we signed the paperwork and set a date to start the work. The work was overseen by Fred and completed (exactly as we wanted) by Andy and his crew. The whole upgrade took 7 business days, exactly as they told us it would from the start. Every single day of the remodel we received a phone call and/or email from Patricia with an update on the project. She would tell us what was completed that day and what would be completed the next day. There was very little stress throughout the process because we always felt connected and informed. The entire team was extremely responsive to all of our issues and concerns. At holiday time this year, they even sent us a gift basket with a great tool box and some indulgent goodies. We would absolutely use Alure again, and would recommend their services to all of our friends. Although it was more expensive than we originally wanted, it was well worth the price for the stress-free, efficient, and positive experience that it was.

They were very good too. They kept calling back to make sure everything was going the right way because we had that problem were we had to rip out part of the ceiling. They found somebody to come and repair the ceiling, to patch it and they found somebody else to come and plaster it so they were very good. They put on a roof after the hurricane. They have done other work also. They gave me $300 credit for the fact that they had to rip out the ceiling. They have different people for different jobs but the man (Mike) that came seemed very knowledgeable also. What happened was something that was unpredictable because the way the ceiling was as far as having to attach it with the wires and all. They were very good. We have used them several times.

initial meeting at a home show. They scheduled a meeting with us one month later. They called to reschedule saying they had an earlier time slot. Then they called the next day to tell us that they "do not want to deal with the town of north hempstead" even though they were aware of this prior to making the initial appointment. I think that a "B", their current average grade, might be generous. Can you imagine being in the middle of a job with these people!
