Our experience with the entire Alure team was amazing from start to finish. Exterior designer, John Bernaudo, was our first contact. He was calm, personable and spent a lot of time with us; giving us options and helpful suggestions. He was not pushy and he made us feel like we were his top priority. John was the reason we chose Alure and we are so glad we did! Joanne in the office was extremely helpful in obtaining our financing; contacting us frequently in order to facilitate documentation requirements. Dominic Coppola, project supervisor, was just as wonderful. He also spent as much time with us as we needed, making sure everything was exactly what we wanted and expected. Our project began when Dominic said it would and it was completed in the time frame we were told. We can't say enough about Jorge and his crew! Jorge showed up first thing in the morning with a smile on his face and left at the end of the day with the same smile. He took the time to literally show us exactly what he was going to do and made sure it was what we wanted. He had great suggestions and his crew was awesome. They were diligent, respectful and hardworking. They only stopped for a quick lunch, then got right back to work. They always cleaned up at the end of the day. The days at our house were some of the hottest of the summer and it didn't seem to phase them! We offered them to go in the pool to cool off, but they would not. As you can tell...I can't say enough good things about our home improvement experience with Alure. I would highly recommend them as they do fulfill their promise: "We go to extremes to build your dreams".

From start to finish...not one complaint ! (And I'm a complainer !) John Bernaudo was our salesman. He came to our home and was amazing. Not pushy...just super informative. And personable ! We were so happy the prices were fair.....because we really wanted to hire Alure...thanks to John. We met the foreman Dominic Coppola and were yet again, so pleased! He answered every silly, annoying question we had. Our job began about 1 month later....Izzy and and the crew arrived early every day, worked tirelessly and finished in 4 1/2 days ! All with smiles on their faces ! John and Dominic even stopped by to see how the job was going. They have kept in constant contact with me via phone as well. Never an unanswered call or question ! We will without a doubt hire Alure in the future and be recommending them to everybody we meet !

Completely gutted - down to the studs- and renovated a small bathroom. New wall, tub, sink vanity toilet. Full tile surrounding tub, Half way up on other walls. This is in a co-op one bathroom apartment so the job needed to be neat, thorough and done in a timely manner. Alure handled all the paperwork for the co-op which was extremely helpful. Without exception every person I involved was professional and helpful.

We had a major addition and remodel done on our home by Alure. The team we worked with could not have been more professional and courteous. Jim Quinn worked with us every step of the way. At our very first meeting Jim said he could help us change the way we lived in our too small home. He helped us design a modular addition that was beyond my wildest dreams. We were amazed at the number of choices we had on our modular build from cabinets to carpet to lighting. He also worked with us to remodel the existing home from the studs of the walls out. The quality was first rate and the communication thru the entire process was fantastic. Jim's words from that first meeting were true - our we couldn't be happier in our new home. I would highly recommend Jim and Alure!

I recently had work done in my home by Alure. Everyone I worked with was professional as well as warm and knowledgeable. My designer Blythe spent hours with us designing my whole bathroom and laundry room. Her ideas were spot on. I was looking for someone to bounce ideas off of and to tell me when something wouldn't work. Blythe did all that plus some. Even during the project she went above and beyond helping me with anything from color choice to hardware and beyond. Alure is a one stop shop which took away every ounce of stress. The whole project was effortless for me, the prices were incredible, and everything looks gorgeous! I can't wait for them to redo my basement and fireplace! I highly recommend this company for any work in your home!

Alure's team - Chris Ann O'Neill and Justin Burchard - are the far best to work with. They both are professional, courteous, and always responsive to any questions. Their industry experience shows very well and gave me the peace of mind that they worked on project. From the first consultation to the end of the project, I have been happy with the results and how they were able to deliver what was showed to be at Day 1. I am very pleased to come home to see the end result of the project. I highly recommend to ask for this team in any future projects you have with Alure.

Alure was great from the first phone call to completion of the work. Bill Cohn made the design process easy. The scheduling team was wonderful. They let me know when deliveries woukd happen and crews would arrive. All were on target. The 5 day bathroom took 5 days and is beautiful. Cant thank them enough for making construction a pleasant experience!

This was the best, smoothest improvement I did to the house. My exterior is unique and required a lot of planning. Both representatives, John Bernaudo and Ron Benkin took their time to make sure the design that my wife wanted can be done with the maintenance free materials available. They were very polite and flexible and made sure I’m happy throughout the process. I got 2 other bids from small contractors and Alure came within the same price range. Even though I expected a higher price, I ended up paying less than what the other two contractors offered me. Going forward, I’m only use them for house work.

I am extremely happy with the work. The salesperson, Bill Coen, made the shop at home experience very convenient. He is very knowledgable about their products and options available. The work was completed in 5 days as promised. I love my new bathroom. Project manager Justin, addressed any and all concerns immediately and was very hands-on during the project. I would highly recommend them and will use their services again.

Our experience with Alure for our kitchen re-model was first rate! From our designer, Blythe Tract to our project manager, Mike Kelly the process was as smooth as it could have been. Blythe's design made our kitchen a much better working area. We bought a house with broken cabinets and drawers, a useless pantry, wasted space and other issues. Blythe worked with us closely to design a functional, spacious and beautiful kitchen. Mike Kelly was a top notch project manager. We were impressed with the different people that Alure sub-contracted. They were all professionals and had been in the industry for many years. Everyone went above and beyond what we asked for and expected. We definitely got more than what we paid for!

Very well. They did my bathroom in 5 days, were efficient, organized, pleasant and I highly recommend them.

Everything went wonderfully. I love the windows! I didn't like the way a piece on the trim looked, so they came back and replaced it for me! They did a nice job and I have no complaints!

The team at Alure Home Improvement did a truly outstanding job at renovating our bathroom. We live in a one bathroom apartment in Manhattan and they are the only outfit I am aware of that can complete this project in fewer than two weeks. Also, their design consultant was able to provide us with the exact look we wanted for a classic pre-war appearance. We are very happy with the way the bathroom turned out, how quickly it was accomplished and the professionalism of the entire team.

The agent gave me detailed choices of cabinetry and flooring. They were very helpful in choosing options that enhanced the kitchen remodel. The work was on time and they accommodated my questions and concerns.

Two highly skillied Polish craftsmen came to our home and completely guttered the bathroom A licensed electrician rewired the entire bathroom. The two craftsmen installed all new plumbing and lighting fixtures and did a masterful job. The tile work was superb, lining up perfectly, and they were very agreeable to any suggestions that we had. All this work was completed within 5 days. We couldn't have been more pleased with the final outcome.

It has been the worst experience by far that I ever had with any company. From the start the supervisor inky showed up when it was time to collect payments. The floor was uneven and had to be ripped and redone a couple of months later. The tiles around the window also had to be ripped, the caulking, counter, etc.. It's a long list of mistakes. The supervisor tells me he is going to call me one day and I have to end up calling him. They say they coming at one time and no one shows up or even bother calling. Five and a half months later I'm still dealing with them. They keep ordering the wrong thing and it seem like it would never end.

At first their service was very good, they immediately came out for measurements, even sent plumber to double-check the scope of what needs to be done. With every item offered to me: from cabinets to sinks, I asked if the items were within the budget, and I was continuously assured they were. As an example: I understand that with a complete gut job on a kitchen, it is unrealistic for the cabinets to comprise 50% of the budget. However, after 5 weeks of driving 45 minutes round-trip to their office, and a few postponements on their part (both of which I can overlook), I was finally presented project costs, which were double my budget. That is professionally irresponsible. From the time I called in the manager, it went down-hill. I was patronized; they danced around specific questions, especially why they couldn't admit sooner that they couldn't build me a kitchen within my budget. The way I was spoken to by the manager, assured me that this is the game they play every day. I know my budget is not impossible because I have 2 other quotes that are lower from both a reputable contractor through Angie's List and a reputable NARI award winning contractor that I have used previously for my house. The bottom line is a company with true integrity handles its client's budget responsibly and respectfully. Alure shamelessly and shamefully did not.

Their price is high but anytime I have a problem, they come right away. I don't have to pay for the service call. The service is great. I have had my faucet leak a couple of times, they have come and fixed it and I didn't have to pay for it. You pay more but you are getting great service later on- you are not looking for a plumber. They could make their prices a little bit cheaper.

I chose Alure without hesitation as I had not done a renovation in years and found their reviews and reputation to be amongst the best on Long Island. The selection process( design, tiles, floors, cabinetry, lighting, etc, etc,) can be overwhelming. My salespersons guidance and suggestions based on the description and photos of what I liked, expedited my choice making abilities and made it fun and not frustrating. There was then a team of project coordinators and workmen that were in constant communication with myself and each other to assure that the work was done accurately and on schedule. As I was working during the day, I was never there to see the job as it was being performed! When I would come in at night, they worked so cleanly, efficiently and honestly that I never knew they were there during the day until I saw the progress in the room itself! I couldn't believe they had completed the job in 4 days, not 5! Most importantly, the workmanship was excellent. Every day I enter my bath, I am so pleased to know I made the best choice.

As with any remodel, there were a few hiccups, but Mary Lotardo, our designer, and Mark Donnelly, our project manager, were always extremely responsive. Mary listened to what we wanted and designed the kitchen layout of our dreams. We still can't believe it is our house. Our kitchen was a piece of junk, and now looks like a picture from a magazine. We were so happy with their work, we had them redo all of our bathrooms!

My 5 day bathroom makeover started with the designer Gregory Griffith. Gregory spent 4 hours with me and had a sample of everything I wanted in his car so I never had to go to the showroom. His ideas were great and extremely helpful. Once I decided to hire Alure I got cold feet and was going to cancel but Greg did a great job at working with me to calm my fears. My Project Manager , Emilio Floro, was available at any time I contacted him. His demo team left my hallway cleaner than it was before they started! The construction crew worked very well as a team and the tile work and wainscoting is perfect. Emilio handled a potential problem with the electrician calmly and quickly, so there was no delay in the work. The final touch was the painter they recommended. Phil Fischlein is a perfectionist and it showed in his work. My only complaint is that he wouldn't help me pick out a paint color (smart man!!). I would highly recommend this team and Alure to anyone.

We wanted to re do our kitchen but weren't sure exactly what we wanted. Alure came in and helped us design our kitchen and we couldn't be happier with the final product. With any job there will be things that go wrong or you don't like. We brought these issues to them and they corrected everyone of them on a timely basis. Although they are a little expensive the extra cost was well worth it as we had no headaches dealing with them. I will definitely call them back when it's time to do the bathroom.

The job was better than what we could have ever imagined. From the planning with our salesman John who stayed in touch every step of the way, to Dominick the project manager who was there every day to review what was going on, then to Izzy and his crew. They worked fast but took time to make sure it was done correctly. They worked neat and did an outstanding job cleaning up when the y finished. I was worried about the house being done for the holidays and it was done a full week before. the overall cost was not much more then using smaller contractors, the beauty of it was it was all one stop shopping the door, windows and siding were all ordered and done through the company. i spent one day with my wife making selections and that was it. Due to my own job i was not there for any of the work, my wife felt very comfortable working with them and they listened and took care of any concerns she had or i may have had. We are very pleased they turned our 90 year old house into a charming little cottage.

Initial consultation went well - sales was not pushy, listened well and helped us determine some good color matches. Fully explained what was going to occur. We then visited the showroom where they showed us our color selections using a computer program, allowing us the opportunity to make any changes we wanted. Crew showed up at 8:00 AM and got set up quickly. The started removing all the old shakes and tar paper. Everything went into a dumpster. They had the Tyvek up, along with the additional insulation and started doing the siding before noon. They were completed and done with their cleanup before 5 I was pleasantly surprised. The crew was efficient and worked very well as a team.

The project started on October 1, 2015. I called on September 30th to find out when I could expect the workers and was told the demolition team would be here at 10am. On the morning of October 1st, I received an u expected delivery of the bathroom item at 6:30am. Everything after this was all downhill. There was excuse after excuse as to why some part didn't happen and as to why, although I paid more with them for the management of this project than I would've paid with a local contractor, I was the one managing this project. They even tried to blame my village inspector for slowing down the project, claiming that they could never reach him, but when I would call I could set up the inspection for the next day. They didn't finish the project until the beginning of November, although they said this would be an 8-10 day project. I had nothing but aggravation with this project. On December 1st I called that there was another tile I found cracked. On December 4th I received a call at 8:20am that someone could come the same morning or later that day. I had other work going on and need a little more notice than the morning of. Today is December 24th and I'm still waiting for that tile to be fixed. Don't waste your time with Alure.
