+ 6 moreOverall, the project went very well. We had a very tight budget, but Pat Broe stuck to it, even saving us money where we didn't think possible. He coached us through our first project of this type. We are very happy with the way the project went. Not only did we have a tight budget, but we also had to move into the apartment in three months. The project was a complete remodel. Pat took a dwelling that was unlivable and turned it into a beautiful 3BR home for a family of four.
Description of Work: Pat Broe took a vacant 1 floor 1200 square foot space and built out a complete 3BR 1BA apartment, complete will eat in kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room and plenty of closet storage space. He built the current walls around the original post beams from the carriage house. We wanted to do the project in the most economical way possible, as it is going to be a rental unit in the future. The rooms are spacious. The kitchen is very roomy, with enough room to move around, eat a table or work or eat at the large counter area. We have plenty of cabinet space. The laundry room / walk in pantry is perfect.
