Rooter Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

Description of Work: I had a clogged kitchen sink drain,my brother snaked it to 20',nothing returned,it was blocked with grease.I called Mr Router,from yellow pages.Apparently the phone number was Mr Router's at one time,but the company separated from MR DAVID HARTMAN,owner of many plumbing companies in the Albany NY areas. Mr Hartman sent a plumber Mark to my house who gave me a price to fix the blockage $244.48. He snaked the drain again to 20',and got the same results,as my brother.He then attached a hydrojet and cleared the drain in 10 min,and brought his equiptment to his truck. Mark returned to my kitchen and with out saying a word he crossed the quote off the contract and wrote in $458.00,when I protested Mark said "I can add the original quote to this new quote...$702.00....for a two hr job!!!! I called the owner Mr Hartman three times before contacting him.He was accusatory and hostile.I called two reputable plumbing companies who told me the blockage should be cleared for $200 to $250and there would not be an added to use the hydrojet.
