Home evolutions is great. My roof looks super. All were professional,experienced,highly skilled. You couldnt even tell they were here. I would recommend them.

The actual installation of the roof went well and we love the quality of the material used with the following exceptions. While the provider, who came to look at the job and give us the cost of the work, took pictures of the roof, he failed to show them to the people who were actually going to do the work. The problem here is that we have an awning on the roof of the garage, that comes out over our deck and when the installers came to do the roofing there had no idea about the awning. Consequently, they did not have the proper tools to remove it. The ONE English speaking worker had to leave the job and go and get the tools he needed to remove the awning. That presented a problem when the tarp they had placed to catch the old roof as they tore it off, fell into my garden hitting and damaging some of our plants. I had to call the original sales person to have them call someone in the crew to put the tarp back up in place. I was reimbursed for the cost of the damaged flowers. When the job was done, the awning was not placed back where it was originally so consequently they had to come back three times in attempts to get it back where it was originally. They did willingly replace shingles every time they moved the awning. In the process, they ripped the valance on the awning , which they did agree to pay for a new one.. I paid for the installation of it. I eventually called the original installers, of the awning in early July and had them come and move it where it belonged. They found that there were some fasteners missing and that adjustments on the angle of the awning had been made by the roofers. I assume mistakenly as they really did not know how to work with the awning. I asked Home Evolution to reimburse me the cost of getting the awning back where it was originally . They offered half which I was not willing to accept. I asked for the entire amount and was told that he needed to speak with his boss. That was July 27th. I sent another text on Aug. 1st and Aug. 4th. So far no response. I plan to call them on Monday , August 8th in an attempt resolve this issue. With the exception of the issue of struggling to get reimbursed for the awning placement, overall their work was great; they had a full crew ,who worked the entire time they were here finishing in about a half day. They were polite, willing to please and extremely conscientious . The materials far out weighed anything else we had been shown by two other contractors. We would recommend them to anyone wanting to have a roofing job done.

Home evolution was a good contractor to work with and in the end we have a beautiful roof. I had received quotes from other contractors that were close in price, but the sales guy that they sent out (Alex) did a great job of convincing me that I should go with them and came in under the other quotes. When getting quotes for a new roof, materials matter a lot and it can get very confusing. Make sure you get all of the materials that are to be used in writing so that you can reference it when comparing and when the job is started so that you can accurately confirm the correct materials are being used. Once it is covered up you can't do this... I thought I had some concerns about this, but when I expressed them to Alex, again he did a great job of explaining everything to me. He made a special trip out to my house just to do so and brought his displays. The foreman on my job was Ivan. He was a good guy to work with and did a good job keeping me appraised of any issues. Some siding and a door screen was damaged. He fixed everything in a timely manner. The only issue we had was that they ran out of cap shingles before they could complete the install. They sealed the roof vents up well and planned to return within 3 days. It took them a little more than a week before they could return, but in the end everything worked out well. One of our big concerns was clean-up. H. E. did a good job, but I think they could have done better with the nails on the ground. (It should be noted that every bidder touted this) I did my own check before they left and found entirely too many, too quickly. I requested they go back and Ivan pushed some of his guys to clean better (some just sat in the truck which ticked me off). They found many more... Unfortunately over the next couple of weeks my 18 month old found a few more (I wish I was joking). I encourage anyone getting a new roof, no matter the contractor, to push the clean-up of nails diligently. Bottom line: We have a beautiful roof with materials we can trust at a fair price. Alex was a great salesman and was responsive. Ivan was a hard working foreman that did his best to get the job done.

Over the winter, I lost a shingle from my roof due to high winds. Since then I tried contact several providers to come and inspect, but no luck. No one would even call back! Finally, one fine morning I messaged Home Evolution on their website about the problem and in 10 mins I got a call back! I had an appointment set up even before I had finished my morning coffee! On the day of the appointment, the service man call be promptly about a potential deal. And then shows up exactly at the time he said he was going to be here! And then in 10 mins, inspects my roof, tells me that it was just a overlaid shingle that had fallen off so nothing needed to be done. That's it! They didn't even charge me for the inspection! I had an exceptional experience, very professional and courteous -- as it should be.

Home Evolution was very professional and did a wonderful job. They followed through with all promised services and cleaned up afterward. Would definitely use them again.

Home Evolution did a fantastic job replacing our worn out roof. From the initial contact to the completion of the job, everything went as smoothly as expected. The roof looks fantastic and the clean up is beyond compare. Thanks for a job well done.

Company setup for appointment was very easy and flexible. Came to my home and spent about an hour with me talking about the process and showing me videos of their roofing team at work. Explained to me the difference in products on the market. I was very impressed and signed a contract on the spot. New roof was scheduled to be installed with in two weeks after signing the contract and the team took off my old roof and put on the new roof in the same day. House looks amazing and the team did a very thorough job to clean up and make sure the finished product was completed and installed to my satisfaction.

Alex came to inspect my roof and recommend a course of action. He took a video during the inspection, being sure to show it was my house and roof I was looking at. It was obvious the roof was in bad shape, but that was only clear because he took the time to actually get on the roof. Other roofers looked at the roof from the ground to price the job and because of that they missed a serious problem in need of immediate attention. Alex showed me the video and explained all aspects of what the job would entail in great detail. He also provided samples of all materials that he proposed using. He priced the job fairly and competitively. I signed with him and within two hours two of his workers showed up to place a tarp over a previously unknown exposed area at the peak of the roof. A week later the large team of roofers headed by Ivan, arrived at 7:15 am. They worked diligently and efficiently throughout the day. Any questions or concerns I had were quickly and courteously addressed by Ivan. Except for a very short lunch break they all worked tirelessly until 8:20 pm. I was extremely impressed by the work ethic and level of professionalism exhibited by each and every member of the team. Because it was dark when they left Ivan sent a man out to make sure that the work site was completely cleaned up the next morning. A few hours later Ivan came himself to inspect the finished roof and grounds. Both were impeccable. It was a pleasure doing business with a company that obviously takes great pride in the quality of their work. I have already wholeheartedly recommended them to two friends.

I was very satisfied, and would highly recommend this company. They were prompt, and very professional.

A crew of 7-8 workers showed up promptly at around 7:15 AM on the day of the job along with a main foreman for the job (Vasiliy). A second foreman (Ivan) also assisted on the job in various ways. Each of the crew members had a set responsibility to complete the job in a very efficient manner. This included crew members to tear off the old shingles and sheathing, a crew member simultaneously cleaning up the old shingle and sheathing debris, crew members completing cuts of the new sheathing and loading the power ladder with new materials, members preparing and installing flashing for a lower roof section, a member installing the lower roof shingles, at least three or four members installing the new main roofing material, etc. Meanwhile, I was able to talk with Vasiliy (primarily) and/or Ivan and ask them many questions. Both were very accommodating to answer my questions and requests that I had, and did a great job overseeing all aspects of the job as it progressed. The crew worked hard and steady! Within about two hours from the start of work, both layers of old shingles and the old sheathing were removed, and the new roof was being installed promptly thereafter. Installing the non-standard 5/8 in. tongue and groove (normally 1/2 in. no T&G) sheathing on old, somewhat sagging and twisted 2"x6" rafters had to be somewhat challenging but seemed to be no problem for the crew. After a short break for lunch, the entire crew was back at work. By around 2-3 PM the entire job was completed including cleanup. I give them an A -A+ for most aspects of the job. I rated the cost as a B not because the job was overpriced necessarily, but being an engineer, I just have a hard time agreeing that anything that costs 5 figures is an excellent price. I do think the cost was fair for the quality and speediness of the work completed. The team cared about details, which I very much appreciate. This included snapping chalk lines on the new sheathing, making adjustments as needed to ensure the ring shank nails (the best!) were properly installed through the sheathing and into the rafters, carefully replacing the attic insulation after the fan ducts were pulled up, etc., etc. I have peace of mind knowing that the job was done right. I also know that they are only a phone call away if I have any questions going forward. Alex, Vasiliy, Ivan, and the rest of the team are very trustworthy people. In this day and age where you don't know what kind of work quality you will get from someone you hire, hire The Home Evolution team and rest assured you are getting the job done right!

They were punctual and professional. It did cost more than I expected since it was not the entire roof and and just the back section but I'll believe the cost justified what needed to be done. They worked all day and cleaned up everything before leaving. I called them up a couple of times afterwards with potential concerns I had and they got back to me fast and was very willing to look into whatever concerns I had. I thought I might have had a leak since the floor guys said the floors were moist (my floors were being refinished at the time) and they were willing to come out on Christmas Eve. Floors have been fine since then so I don't think there was a leak. I am willing to use Home Evolution again as I have some more work to do for my house.

The diagnosis of the problems with the roof and the proposal for repair were based on a very thorough examination of the interior water damage to the house and a complete roof-top inspection. Home Evolution's representative took pictures, which he used to explain to us why the roof was leaking so badly. He also explained why each and every item in his proposal was necessary. In addition, he gave us a very accurate prediction of when the work would be done and how long it would take. The workers were extremely polite and, once the job was complete, they did a thorough job of showing us just what had been done. The entire roof looks much, much better than it did before Home Evolution did their work. Moreover, it appears to finally be keeping the rain out. All and all, Home Evolution did a very professional A+ job.

Business was immediately responsive from original call through completion of repairs. Alex came to home, discussed the issue and looked over the job. He immediately discussed and explained repairs in detail, showed samples of products proposed to be used, and gave a written job estimate and projected completion date. He freely discussed all phases of the job. Once contract was executed, we received a call prior to the workers coming to our home, as we were told we would. The repairs were quickly made and all materials were cleaned up, both on the roof and around our home, and all trash was taken away. To date, the repairs appear to have FINALLY resolved this continual leak! For this, we could not be happier! Repair was not cheap, but as long as it hold and this problem is solved, it is worth the cost! As a consumer, you hopefully get the quality of services that you pay for, and in this case, I feel confident that we have received a professional, quality repair service! Thank you, Home Evolution!

We called Home Evolution for a quote. He was able to come one day at noon. My husband re-arranged his schedule and went home to meet him at noon. About ten minutes before noon, when my husband had already left work and traveled home to meet him, Alex called and said he was going to be 45 minutes late. I gave him a C on Professionalism for this alone. He obviously knew he was going to be 45 minutes late before he called ten minutes before the appointment. Clearly, his time is more valuable than my husband's. It is just plain rude and disrespectful. Our house guest had to meet with Alex because my husband could not just take an extra 45 minutes to wait for him. He left our house guest with a fancy Home Evolution folder (which we obviously were paying for!) with a quote for $3,000. This was our first quote, but I knew right away it was ridiculous. The leak is not that big. Friends of ours are getting a whole new roof on their similarly-sized house for $6,000. This just did not seem right. I found a few local, small businesses (read: no fancy folder) not on Angie's List and got two more quotes. The first was for $500, the second for $300. We saved $2,700 by shopping around for more quotes. We had our first big, heavy rain storm the other night and NO LEAKS! So, $3,000 was clearly a VERY inflated price for what needed to be done. Shop around!

It was absolutely good. They were professional, courteous, prompt. They did a great job explaining what they would do, reviewing our options. And they did what they said. They protected our landscaping and everything surrounding the house. Cleaned up well and were in and out in one day. They also worked with us on pricing to come up with a price within our budget.

They were prompt, got the job done quickly, cleaned up before they left. I would highly recommend them! After speaking to other roofers I can say that I am delighted to have found Home Evolution. They were EXCELLENT an I HIGHLY recomend them.

On the day the roof was to be replaced, rain was forecast later in the day. The roofers came with a crew of 9 hoping to beat the rain, and they did. They were very efficient, professional and we couldn't be more pleased with the job they did. The roof looks great and they did an excellent clean-up. We would highly recommend them. There were a couple of follow up details regarding a vent and some caulking. We did not need to remind them; they called us to schedule a time to take care of them.

I thought they were a good company. I would use them again, and also recommend them to anyone. Roman came and explained all of the roof issues I was having. Virginia and Victoria in the office were very nice to deal with also.

Reported on time and as promised. Worked from sun rise to sun set to get the job done as promised. One of the hardest working group of men I've ever seen providing a great job at a great value. Would hire again in a heart beat for they did an awesome job. Strictly an A+ company to hire and work with.

They came early in the morning and left by late afternoon. We have a large home and they were very prompt and worked hard all day. I was amazed at how quickly they took off the old shingles and put new ones on. I would recommend them to others!

Our 2 story colonial's roof was 30 years old (estimated life of the existing shingles). Home Evolution responded to our request for an inspection/quote very quickly. The inspector walked the entire roof and inspected it. The inspector said the roof wasn't in bad shape. He pointed out a few curled/cracked shingles. When asked, he said that it's possible the roof would be good for another year or two (no promises, of course). The inspector explained their process and the standard materials that they use. Price was reasonable. References were good. Angie's List reviews in the Albany area were good as well. We scheduled work to occur in 2 weeks. Home Evolution delivered the materials one day in advance. This allowed us to confirm that the materials were consistent with the materials in our quote. Home Evolution appeared early the next morning as scheduled. The work was completed in a professional manner, according the specifications we agreed on. Roofers were skilled, hard working, professional and courteous. Supervisor was on the site for most of the day and answered all questions. Upon completion of the roof, the crew removed all shingles and roofing debris from the yard and ran a magnetic roller to pick up nails. All work was completed exactly as promised in a single day. I

They were prompted, finished the job in half a day. There was very little noise, they cleaned the area upon completion of the job. I am very happy with the job and all the employees of Home Evolution. When I first contacted them I reached a person not someone's voice mail. They set up the appointment for a sight visit within the week of contacting them. During the visit it was clear that they were very knowledgeable about the products, time frame and what the job entailed. I received quote from another vendor, however I just felt so comfortable with everyone involved that I had to choose Home Evolution, and I'm glad that I did.

Everything went well. The crew worked a long day and finished the job. We are very happy with the whole experience.

He was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. The quote was close to the others I had received already. However the "hard sale" technique really does not work for me. The discount offered to sign "right now" was generous but the technique turned me off especially as I had not yet heard from the last provider I was looking into.
