Failed to deliver what was agreed to in contract and delivered an unacceptable result. Siding is very wavy in several areas. including about 1/3 of the length of my house on one side. Failed to replace fascia, remove old soffits, and properly install new ones with additional support where needed (contract specifies new fascia, soffits - Alex dismissed my concerns when confronted about the issue prior to completion. Left many gaps and holes between siding, trim, and windows, some as large as 1/2 in. square, making my house vulnerable to pests and water. Again, I was dismissed when I voiced concern at the end of the project. Made numerous mistakes throughout the process that caused considerable delays, including the failure to secure a building permit (even after being warned in person by the town's building code enforcement officer), ordering shutters that were much too big to fit (despite our suggestion that he take measurements). Result was that the project took a month instead of the two weeks promised. Home Evolution failed to clean up the work site, leaving nails and other debris strewn around my property. Neighbor got two flat tires during the project. Stupidly, I bowed to pressure to provide the last payment before I completed a thorough inspection of the property, and the following day discovered a major problem: The siding on more than a third of the back of my house was extremely wavy. Further, we found many of the areas that were supposed to have been filled and caulked were not done, and found many nails and other debris strewn about the yard despite assurances that everything would be removed. I called Alex on the first business day following my discovery (just 48 hours after the crew left) and explained what we found and asked to have it repaired. Alex promised to come and take a look, and did so a few days later while I was at work. When he returned few days later (on Saturday) I fully expected him to repair the siding, at minimum. However, after arriving several hours later than he promised, it was immediately clear that Alex had no intention to do so. He was extremely rude and combative, defensively asserting that the wavy siding is not his problem or his fault, and refused to do anything to correct this or any of the other issues mentioned above. He blamed everyone and everything for the wavy sections - from my wife and I to the plywood and wall underneath - and continued arguing with me without reason or regard for our satisfaction. After telling my wife and I that "no one looks at their house from the side like that," that we are unreasonable and shouldn't expect it to be straight like the rest of the house, it became clear that further discussion would be pointless, and my wife asked Alex to leave. All that my wife and I want (and righfully expect) is for Alex to finish the job he agreed to in our contract. It's the right thing to do - our siding should not be wavy, period. We should receive new fascia and properly installed soffits as agreed to and paid for. We shouldn't have more gaps and holes on the exterior of our home now than we did before getting new windows and siding. Alex failed to deliver what was promised by our contract. We aren't asking for - or even expecting - perfection. We only want what we paid for. (mainly siding without ripples).

We liked everything about them. The price was great, the workman ship was great, the roof itself is wonderful. The only thing we didn't like was that when the came to clean up, they used a wheel barrow and put a trench in our lawn. We've called them several times, and they haven't done anything about it. They keep saying they are coming back, but we've not seen them yet. It's not like our lawn is that wonderful, but we can see the trench under the snow! We have recommended them, and would use them again. We hope they will make it right, and would be happy to change the one F grade.

We didn’t have them do any work. But I got to give the guy credit because he actually went up on the roof. The estimate amount was $1700. The guy got out if his truck, came to the door and talked for a few minutes. I told him something about the roof and he said he would go up and take a look. He was the only one who actually went up on the roof of all the people who came for this job. I got to give him credit for that. It depends on who is giving the estimate for them to go up on the roof and look at it because some of these people just know these things. I have come to find out that. I wouldn’t want to speak ill of them regarding the price. He went up there and he tried. My son wanted an expert to take a look at it. He said that there was a problem on the side of the roof. It is a repair problem and not a roofing problem. The guy from Home Evolution wasn’t trying to sell me a roof either. I had another company that thought it was the problem with the chimney too and his price was hell of a lot less than the price of Home Evolution. He is the most ambitious one I have seen. He was professional. He was here when he said he would be.

No problems all went well and on time.

The owner came and went up to the roof himself and looked at it. When we needed to call him back, he was very responsive. He came within 2 hours. Our experience was good. Their price was very fair.

The pricing was reasonable. The one thing about Alex is that his crew cleaned everything up. There was no scraps, junk or dirt left anywhere. There were a couple of issues. The way that they brought the shingles down at the edge of the roof may not have extended out quite far enough.

The job went very well. They are very hard working and really want to a great job and don't just patch over. They don't just patch over things if they find them to be worn and make sure that you know that there is a problem that needs to be taken care of. Even if they didn't start with that problem, they will make sure that you are aware of any underlying problems, and then they can fix it for you. They are committed to excellence.

They showed up at 8 am and by 1pm most of the job was done. By 4pm it was all finished including cleanup, AMAZING!

Alex quickly responded to a request for a quote. He appeared to me to be interested in doing a quality job with much attention to detail. After getting two other prices, I chose Alex and his crew for the job. He was very flexible around my schedule, and he even agreed to replace a skylight I had purchased. Alex and his crew did a very neat job, and didn't seem to mind that I climbed onto my roof numerous times to check their progress and throughness.
