We interviewed the owner. We found him to be aggressive and pushy. A regular salesman. We ended up going with another siding company. We got a lower price, excellent product, superior workmanship.

Excellent work. Very efficient team of workers. Also very neat, and took great care to not ruin landscaping.

They gave me a fair price and they did a great job. The new skylights look great. They trimmed out the skylights and repaired the leak damage and you would never know they were replaced or that there was a leak. I highly recommend them and I am very fussy.

Home Evolution replaced my old siding with new vinyl siding. I liked the fact that the same two men did all the work on the house. I had another project done by another company and someone new showed up every day. They were very detailed and went above what I expected. One man, Leo I believe was his name, did all the detail and trim work. He did an excellent job. As part of the project they replaced two windows in my garage. The old window were not level, (as well as the garage door), but he took his time, box the trim and now everything looks level.

They arrived on site on Jul 31 about 7 am with 5 or 6 people and immediately began removing the old roof, replacing the decking and old panels. They worked smoothly and steadily all day. Several people arrived later and worked doing the specialty work (skylights and repointing the chimney). They used only the highest quality materials. I, frankly, was very impressed on the amount of work done and how hard they worked. The ENTIRE job was finished by about 7 pm. They even tacked up a piece of insulation in my cellar stairway that had come loose during all the construction. A week or so later we had our first rain storm since the construction The two old skylights (not the ones they installed) leaked. We called Alex at about 7am and he immediately (within an hour) sent his two "experts" down who covered the skylights to prevent any more leaking. They returned later and reflashed the skylights and other measures to ensure they did not leak again. They spent a great deal of time analyzing why they had leaked and then repairing them. Once again I was impressed with the care and thought - not to mention the time - to ensure a job well done. We have had no problems since.

They were very professional when they came to do a quote. The price was very comparable to other places we had quote us. We went with home evolutions because of their rating on angies list and thier willingness to work with our requests. They started with adding the extension on the back gable, once that was built they had a crew come in and replace entire roof (29 square) in one day. It was loud but we expected that and just left for the day. The work was done on a friday. They returned the following day to start the side porch and put on the gutters. The side porch was above and beyond what we expected and looks gorgeous. The roof no long leaks around the chimney like it did before the new roof. The gutters work excellent. Alex came a day after they finished to do a walkthrough with us and collect final payment. A few times we called during to ask questions and they made sure to get back to us in a very timley manner.

Our experience with this contractor is consistent with the other positive reviews. We would note however that Home Evolution was not the most expensive quote we received. Their documents however were much clearer in describing what tasks would be performed for the re-roofing and the type of shingle to provided. They also explained the payment breakdown between materials and labor. They are professional, thorough and follow through with what they say they will do. The material and the actual labor was delivered and performed on the days represented by Alex. A request to Alex was promptly responded to. Due to the size of our roof a double crew worked from 7AM to 5PM and finished the job in one day including a thorough clean up. Vassily was the foreman who kept an eye on all stages of the work and was available and responsive throughout the day for any questions. Total time in dealing with Home Evolution was one week from contact to job completion, obviously weather permitting, so if you are looking to have a quality job completed without wasting time going back and forth trying to reach a contractor, we would recommend Home Evolution. It has rained a couple of times since the installation and no leaks so far. However given our initial positive experience should any subsequent problems arise we would not hesitate to contact Alex. Bottom Line: we would recommend Home Evolution to our friends.

All work listed above was completed in approximately one month. It would have been shorter but my wife and I decided to do part of the work ourselves. Had we not interfered it would have been completed in 3 weeks. The work proceeded extremely well once it was started, but took a bit longer than expected to commence (Probably due to their heavy work load...). Ensure that your contract is extremely detailed to prevent confusion. Home Evolution gave us the benefit of the doubt, but we should have been more thorough. Home evolution will impress you with their attention to detail and the speed at which they perform. The workers that were at our home were extremely friendly.

They arrived right on time and did all the work in a very timely manner. They arrived at 6:45am and the job was completed by 1pm. Cleanup was exceptional! On the day of the estimate, I particularly liked that Alex took several pictures of my roof so I knew exactly what was to be done. I would highly recommend Home Evolution for any of your roofing needs.

We contacted Home Evolution to repair some minor storm damage on our roof. They returned our call promptly and scheduled time to visit our home and provide an estimate. They arrived when they stated they would and provided a written estimate. Upon agreement of the estimate, they sheduled the repair for the next morning. The repair went as well as the estimate. They arrived at the scheduled time and performed the work as written, plus fixed a minor issue with the ridge vent that was not previously identified without charging any additional fees. They are prompt and professional, which seems to be a rare quality in the service industry.

They did an excellent job! They came and they were clean. They told me everything that was going to happen. We had a slight delay because of rain, but that was okay because you can’t roof in the rain. They did what they said they were going to do. One person did nothing but clean all day long as things came off the roof and were tossed on the ground. They did not leave any messes. The roof hasn’t leaked since. Very comparable price to other companies.

I couldn't be happier with the work done by Home Evolution. They were not the cheapest, but I have already recommended at least 3 other people use them. I was lucky enough to have Leo personally working on my house - and his attention to detail and care about the house as if it was his own sold me from the start. I highly recommend giving Home Evolution a call. The materials used were great quality, they were friendly, professional, and did a great job. They also repaired the roof left open by another contractor that walked away from the work. They even took away some of the debris left behind by the previous contractor - this is EXACTLY why I came to Angieslist, and EXACTLY why I selected a contractor like Home Evolution.

This is a dependable roofer. They preformed the job exactly like they said they would. They showed up on time and completed the job in one day. I highly recommend this company.

Alex came to our house for the estimate and presented us with two options for the repairs. He then said if we signed that day, he'd give us a fairly large discount. It came off as very salesman-like and I was turned off by this tactic, but my husband wanted to move forward and get the repairs over with, so we signed the contract that day. The crew was friendly and polite and we haven't had any leaks since. A week later we discovered an issue with our roof and the crew returned as soon as I called because I thought it may be related to their skylight repair work the previous week. They came immediately, which was great. The crew member took cell phone pics of our roof and showed Alex. All involved said the leak was not related to the skylight repairs. Alex later gave me an estimate for the repairs over the phone, saying he saw the cell phone pics and based his estimate on those. A week later I called back and asked him to look at the issue in person. He came and saw our roof in person and lowered his estimate substantially, and said the issue wasn't as major as he first thought. I was happy to hear this, but disappointed that he would give me an estimate based solely on cell phone pics in the first place. All in all, we are happy with the work as we have had no leaks/issues since the repairs were done.

They did a good job on the roof. I was very happy the way it came through. The only thing that I wasn't too keen about is they meet with you and give their price and they discount it and then you have to sign up with it that day. If you haven't called other people before, you can't tell them you will get back to them. That is the only thing I didn't like. I ended up going with them, because they have really good ratings all over. He is the only contractor that is kind of guaranteeing his own work for seven years. I do believe they are a little more expensive, but he does come with all A-ratings with the Better Business Bureau and he does guarantee his work. They were sort of wishy-washy on time. They showed up in the afternoon and worked really late in the night.

I dealt with Igor. He and Alex are brothers. Several men arrived this morning with a foreman who never left. They were neat, courteous and a pleasure to have had working on our home. They began at 6:45 a.m. and left about 4:00 p.m. The house looks great. They used large plastic tarps they connected to the house to catch all the litter coming from the removal of the roof. At the end of the job the foreman went around the house at least 4 times to make sure the site was perfectly cleaned and they used even a leaf blower to make sure all dirt particles were removed from our outside patio.

Alex was very professional and knowledgeable with what was needed for this job. They replaced the siding on the rear of the house and the chimney chase, making sure that diverters were placed strategically on the roof to avoid further leaking issues. One piece of the plywood under a window was totally rotted out, and they replaced that with new plywood. They were meticulous in measuring the exact size needed for each piece of siding and careful and professional in their application. New vinyl was installed on and under the soffits. Also, at no additional charge, they repaired a big piece of the siding on the left side of the house and applied clear silicone around three vents in the front of the house to prevent bees and other insects from entering. They were professional, courteous and totally knowledgeable about their business. I knew I was receiving high quality work and am 100% pleased with the work completed. I would recommend this company to anyone Thank you Alex and crew for a professional job well done.

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Home Evolution. They were very responsive to our desire to preserve the original architectural details of our 1930s-era home and offered great advice and solutions that met our needs. We found their prices very reasonable for the amount of work involved, and the finished product far surpassed our expectations. Each different crew (windows, siding, roofing, and painting) were wonderful to interact with. They were punctual, professional, and hard-working. We have already recommended them to several of our friends. We can't recommend them highly enough.

Alex spent about 20 minutes on my roof on Tuesday, gave me a price. He said they would be there on Saturday and it would be finished by Sunday and it was.

Arrived at 7:30am 3/26/2013. Six men started removing old roofing from house. Old roofing was carted to a large dump trailer. One small area around a mansonry chimney needed new plywood and was replaced. All edges of roof received ice barrier material. New roofing was being applied by 11am. By 5:45pm most of the new shingles had been applied to the roof. All old roofing and remaining new materials were removed. We left the house and 5:45 for a meeting and when we returned at 10 pm. Every thing was removed. The manager came back the next day and checked around the house and said he was not satisfied with the clean up. Two men returned with a large magnet and rake to ensure all nails and debris were removed. The management staff of Home Evolution and their workers are very efficient and reliable. They came when the promised, made good suggestions concerning selection of roofing materials and finished the roof in one day. Their workers are well trained, courteous and very productive. The job was finished at the price we agreed to. This is a very trust worthy contractor who wants to please his coustomers. I highly recommend him.

The team arrived early and on time. The work was completed before I returned home from work - very fast. The roof looks great and I was very happy with the detailed care they took in not only the work but the clean up as well. There was almost no sign they were even there except for a brand new roof. 6 months later and I have no complaints - great work.

From the quoting process to replacement of the roof everything went well. Owner came to our home took photos and discussed time frame and project with us. There were no surprises. The crew was very efficient on the day of replacement. cleaned up job site upon completion. New roof looks great!

Owner did estimate, but put pressure on us (by quoting a very good price, good only on that day) to sign the contract that day. Price was good enough to sign the contract. We selected high quality shingles at his recommendation. They showed up on time, and on the agreed to day, and completed the work in two days. They coordinated the date with another contractor without complaint or negotiation. There have been no problems since the installation, during the winter.
