Sloping is good. Still worried that town snowplow may damage the driveway apron.

Crew came a few weeks after initial 50% down payment. Dug it up the first day, item 4 and paved it the next. Very professional during entire project. Very happy with the outcome.

"PERFECTION" I can't say enough about these guys! Precise, professional, extremely skilled..etc..I've never seen anything like it! I saw from my window how they would stop, look, measure, or fix anything they felt wasn't perfect. As they were pouring asphalt I saw a couple of the guys measure so rain water would flow away from my house and off my grass. They had to fill large grass areas where water settled on both sides of the driveway and even have it ready for new top soil. I can't say enough! They stood late at night working on the dark with all there truck lights on and lighting equipment. I ordered the guys pizza bc I appreciated all the hard work. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! To all the crew, the owners, and all the guys involved in overlooking the job. My kids have a place to play and my cars won't rust... Don't bother hiring cookie cutter pavers. I can only emphasize how pleased I am with job done by Joshua paving. They were extremely responsive, definitely satisfied my expectations for the work and were very competitive. I rated them a B on quality only because this was just completed Friday it is now Sunday and I haven't placed a vehicle on the surface yet. (have to wait a few days) I found Daniel very good to work with and his crew leader Willy was very professional. The whole crew worked as a team and they fulfilled all the work efficiently and as I wanted it. They showed up when expected, had the equipment to perform the job and paid attention to details.

We contacted Joshua paving in late May and within a week they had an estimator at our home. We described what we wanted and the estimator took measurements and gave us a price. The work was scheduled to take place in two weeks. On the appointed day, a foreman arrived in the early afternoon and took measurements again and phoned them in to the asphalt plant where the asphalt truck was being loaded. Within twenty minutes, a crew arrived with the necessary equipment and went right to work. They proceed in a finely orchestrated fashion to weed-whack, clean and prepare the existing surface to receive new blacktop. The new parking pad was excavated; item 4 was laid and compacted. When they started laying asphalt, they started with the new parking pad and worked their way toward the road. Again, their movements were finely orchestrated and they moved swiftly but precisely, all of the workers with their individual role, either working by hand with the shaping rake, or operating a roller and compactor machine. All the edges were finely shaped. The incline was tracked as they proceeded to insure no drainage problems. The foreman gave a close inspection and after two and a half hours, the driveway was completed. The staff was very courteous and friendly, responsive to all of my questions. The whole job was completed in a very professional manner and at a price that honored the estimate. I could not be happier with the work and with the whole experience. I have no hesitation in recommending Joshua Paving for anyone in the four county areas considering having their driveway repaved. You get more than you pay for with Joshua Paving.

They answered right away and actually came early for the estimate. I liked the price and ask if they could do the work the same day and 5 hours later it was done. Great job!

Very Happy... here's why. In general, I am skeptical of pavers. I have had two other experiences with pavers and both were fairly bad. I wasn't sure what to expect with Joshua Paving. The reviews online were pretty good but his price was lower than others so I assumed they would skimp somewhere. In the end, the final outcome was great and I couldn't be happier. Jeff was the foreman on my project. Two other guys seemed to be the skilled labor who would spread out the material (one of their names was Alex). There were three other guys who drove the trucks and also brought the materials to where they needed to be dumped via wheelbarrow. They started around 10am and didn't finish until around 9pm. They all worked a hard long day. The guys looked a little rough around the edges but were professional, nice and respected my property. I took the day off work and got a chair and watched them work. The kept the pavement thick, even in the middle. They didn't play any games of thick on the edges and thin in the middle. They did have to come back the next morning to finish up a little near the road as they had run out of material and the plants were already closed. You can see the seam a little but it looks sturdy. Jeff promised a two year warranty. There were no surprises at the end when it was time to pay the bill… the final price is what he quoted me. Jeff listened to my concerns and checked in with me a few times to make sure I was happy. I don't know if Joshua Paving has multiple crews or not, but I know that Jeff and his team did a great job. If I notice anything go wrong with the driveway over the next year, I'll make sure to come back and update my review. Overall, I am very happy and would recommend Joshua Paving. This job was a residential home driveway in New Paltz, NY completed in June 2018.

The crew did a great job on our new driveway. they were professional, clean and it looks beautiful!

I had two adjoining driveways done August 2017. They had some equipment troubles but got the work done more or less as expected. Upon inspecting I had some minor concerns with the quality but thought this would be resolved when sealing. Sealing is recommended after 6 months. I now have edges breaking up and many areas where aggregate is rough some are already coming loose. I asked them to estimate doing seal coating and had them look at the problems. The estimator said a number of things - this is normal, the quality of the material is not as good as it was 25 years ago and many other comments. She did say they could fix the 2 cracks I pointed out. I called back in early May to have someone come back and fix the cracks and again see if they could do something about the surface which is continuing to get worse. I didn't get a call back. I called again last week and did get a call back. I got a runaround that essentially said they did not believe there was a problem, I was looking for perfection, and they would not even repair the cracks they had seen. They did have the lowest price for the paving work. In hindsight I would have rather paid more. I would not recommend this company for paving work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update 5/31/2018: The owner has posted a response to my review and a follow up visit. I wanted nothing else to do with this company but the owner insisted on an additional visit. When he arrived he told me the same things I was originally told. I had no confidence in any further assessment or work by these people and told him I did not want him to attempt any further work. His posted comments are inaccurate and unprofessional. I compared their work to Dr Blacktop 25 years ago and Joshua Paving is inferior. In my case Dr Blacktop was higher priced but should have gone with them again. I would recommend Dr. Blacktop.

Done quite expeditiously; had a few quibbles about final product (mainly the edging), but overall quite satisfied.

The guys showed up on time, and they did it well. Daniel worked on the price for me also. I will use them again when needed, for sure.

Joshua paving came and excavated the ENTIRE incline which I was not expecting as the hump only existed on about 100 feet. They came and dropped about 4" of item 4 for the incle and newly extended portion. The weather has been getting cold which caused them to push of the actual blacktopping a couple days. I had absolutely no issue with this. The day of blacktopping there was a minor miscommunication, but I will take responsibility for that. For my error, they made no fuss and got right to work to remedy the problem. It was a team of 5 guys and they completed the 1500+ sqft driveway in about 4 hours. I can not be more pleased with how they conducted themselves, how prompt Daniel (owner) was with calling me and informing of what to expect and any hiccups. Daniel is definitely an integral part of the team. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be using again for any future projects. Extremely fair on price as well
