OPC Pest Control

First, we've used them for general exterior treatment. You pay them $295 and they come once. In contacting other companies, I realize that the treatments they use only last 60 days. Therefore, one application is not enough. Second, we had mice this past fall, and they basically said there's nothing we could do except set traps. They provided us with traps and they did nothing else. Third, currently we have bees in our basement. I called them last week, and they said there's nothing that could be done now. I called two other providers who said that they all do interior inspections of the basements and diagnose the problem. One company -- Hometown Pest Management -- said that the interior spot check is included in their annual service plan. Do NOT go with OPC. They are crooks. They are lazy. They take your money and do most of their service over the phone!!!!

It went as usual except that the bill said that they found termites near my neighbor's house. We are attached to that neighbor (share a roof) so we have a problem too. We checked with the neighbor and we agreed to get the service from Olympic for either $800 or $400 cost depending on how many other homes participate. I asked a friend who happened to be painting our deck at the time Olympic was here. (He is a soil expert, retired from the federal government, and he has built a homes and done construction work nearly all his life.) He said he saw some termites by a fence separating our home from our neighbor's, but there was no way those termites would invade either house since our homes had a concrete/cement wall separating the fence from our homes. Later our neighbor checked with a friend who used to work with Olympic and he said essentially the same thing--i.e., that there is no reason to pay for termite removal.I don't want to grade their work except to give them an F for honesty--or competence.

Very pleased with everything they have done. We had quite a difficult carpenter ant problem and they came back several times until they found and eradicated the nest and were just very thorough and professional

I have used them now for two or three years. They were recommended to me by a friend. I think they gave me a senior discount. They are very good to deal with. If there is a problem they will come back and respray. I tried another company and they wouldn't come back in between. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.
