Description of Work: Wife and husband team. They were approximately 30 minutes. Today she cleaned one bath and he brought up two lawn chairs from cellar for back screened in porch, swept porch and was to vacuum rugs on porch..

Description of Work: We had Mrs. Shine in to do a thorough cleaning before we moved out and started showing the house for sale.

Description of Work: We had them come in to do a deep cleaning (something like 9 hours!) that was quoted flat rate and quite fair. Then I had them coming for weekly residential cleaning which she did say in the beginning was not their normal type of work, but they would give it a try (we have a particular need for clutter management with our cleaning). The work they did was good (there were sometimes a few things missed, but they always made good on it). I had to give professionalism a B not because they were late, but 1) a little because of shifting schedules, though she was immediately responsive on text, and 2) how it ended. | |I was disappointed in how we concluded though, because on the day they were supposed to come for another cleaning, I got a text message saying they couldn't do it anymore, it wasn't the right kind of thing for them (or something to that effect). No final cleaning, no wrap-up, and that left me in a bit of a screwed position for that upcoming weekend and plans to have people over for dinner. If it was the rate, the type of work, anything else, I think the professional thing to do would have been to make an attempt to solve it to make a win-win for both parties before permanently cutting ties. She sent an email, then a screen shot of the email via text message, as a sense of urgency I suppose. It just sat a bit wrong with me. | |They did say that this was new for them, but my thought would have been that if I were in their shoes, I'd at least follow through with the last scheduled one and not leave the client in a lurch. I had always been personable with them and was under the impression that there was no ill will (and still don't think there is [which is why overall is still an A]) so the sudden cancelling just seemed... weird. Like if they had to come back to our house again for anything they just wouldn't be able to handle it, but I'm pretty sure we're not *that* terrible! lol. | |I had always said to tell me what she thinks is fair for the amount, and if she feels something ended up being more than she thought, to tell me so, so I don't think it was the money (and if it was, the solution was open to her). And I don't think it's because of personal conflict. | |I definitely recommend them for one-time cleanings or for standard office-type cleanings or occasional deep-cleans. Rates and quality for that were good.
