Description of Work: I called Monroe muffler of clifton park, ny to get an estimate to replace the front and rear breaks, pads and rotors. Over the phone the manager told me that he would be happy to provide a free estimate and to bring it in any time. I told the manager that my wife would be dropping off our vehicle for the estimate and I would talk to him over the phone after he took a look. The total in parts needed for the repair was $95, plus inspection. With out my wives knowledge ( he swindled her into signing for a full inspection) against our agreement. We knew the truck wouldn't pass and just wanted an estimate for the repairs. He quoted us almost $800 to change out the front brakes, oil change and inspection. I was dumbfounded. We went down the road a quarter mile and found an honest company to complete the repairs. We paid $670 for front and rear breaks, rotors, front rear axle ujoint, oil change, and inspection.

+ -1 moreI gone to this company for a number of years. They know my car and they know me. I am very pleased with their knowledge, pleasant ways, and speedy service. Wednesdays are Lady's Day, so they offer a better rate for an oil change.
Description of Work: I had the oil changed, tire pressure checked, and a general inspection done on my 2006 Chevy Malibu. During the tire pressure check, they found that one tire was flat because it had a nail in it. He repaired it at no charge.
