Matt and Leo were wonderful; the quality of work was superb, they were efficient; friendly, timely and did a beautiful job repairing and painting the many holes we had made in our walls I would recommend them whole heartedly

They were to paint walls, woodwork, they were to remove wall paper, that was it. The people they sent out - first of all, the owner did the initial - he came out the first time. And then the people he sent out, one man had worked for him - it was a relative and he had worked for them for three or four years. The other person that came with them had been with them five days and had no prior painting experience. As I mentioned earlier, they had to remove wallpaper; the kid didn't have a clue how to remove wallpaper. He had never even seen a wallpaper steamer before, and they turned him loose. And he gouged the walls, did a very poor job and it was not impressive at all. They seemed to be under a time constraint that the job had to be finished in a day and a half. That's probably because they may feel that they had priced it too low. They stretched it, they came originally, they were right down on Wednesday and they worked Wednesday, they worked Thursday, and the lead man - they guy who had been with him three or four years - had vacation plans for Friday. He was leaving to go to a resort in Massachussets and so they worked until one o'clock on Friday. What they did was they just slapped paint around and it was terrible. We were never asked were we satisfied or anything like that, they just couldn't get out of here fast enough. And they ran out of paint. There was one particular paint for the walls in the hallway and they ran out of it. I mean, he was doing everything he could to stretch that paint. And it was just a terrible experience. So I tried repeatedly to get a hold of the owner. In the process of trying to get a hold of the owner, he would not return my phone calls. Eventually, I sent a certified letter, he would not accept the certified letter. The certified letter was returned to me after three weeks. The United States Postal Service had tried to deliver it three times and had left notices on two occasions and no one cared. And I finally, because I sent them an email and told them that I was going to turn it over to an attorney, he finally decided to call me back. And he came out here - it's just it stank. He came out, took a look at what was done and he closed his eyes and let out a giant sigh and he brought another gallon of paint with him and he would dare - it took about five weeks to get them back here. In other words, the two men came out and I could make no contact with them on phone. And it took a certified letter. Finally, the owner did come out, all he had to do was look at the place. My sons had told me they'd get him to small claims court the day after. It was terrible. So finally, the owner showed up, he did make some good improvements, but where they had turned this guy loose to take the wallpaper off the walls - if you came out here, I can show you the gouges in the walls - it's not perfect and we had another 3500 dollars that they had quoted and I couldn't possibly let them back in here to do it. This place is disgusting. He cleaned it up, he's got it looking decent, but before I could put this house on the market, I would have to go through and do more work. And he kept telling my wife and myself, "I can't believe that we left this like this, this is terrible." There's actually parts that they cannot fix.

I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the work. Walls were damaged during wallpaper removal when the steamer was not used properly. Some strips of wallpaper were left hanging and some were painted over. Ceiling stains were not sealed completely and have bled through. Cracks that were supposed to have been repaired were only skim coated and have opened up again. The paint coverage was not adequate, especially on the ceilings. Furniture was not protected during sanding. Daily clean up of supplies was not done. Matt did not respond to my complaints during the job, just kept saying I would be happy with the results. I had to hire another company to do the repairs and painting again, an additional cost for me.

MHomes painted a large interior room. Reasonably priced. Provided quote in advance. Flexible in scheduling around our schedule to be at home when the work was done. Showed up exactly when they said they would. Completely the work in the time they estimated. Very pleased with the quality of the work, the people who did the work and the clean up when they were done.

This was a fabulous experience for us. MHomes and Matthew returned our initial phone call for an estimate right away and came to the house on time on the day we agreed upon. We told him what we wanted done and the original estimate only took a couple of days to get to us. We told him when we wanted the work done and he put us in his calendar right away. My husband had tried his hand at painting and did not like doing it and as a result there was paint on some of the woodwork. On the first day of the job, Matthew told me about it because he didn't want me to think they were responsible for it. His attention to detail is amazing. One of the bedrooms in particular was suffering from a very bad taping and sheetrock job from the builder and this was all repaired and not a trace of it remains!!!! They were done on the day they said they would be. The most wonderful part is we had new carpeting installed in all those areas the week before and there wasn't a drop of paint anywhere. My husband and I are both Realtors and asked Matthew for cards in order to give them to clients looking for an interior painter. Wonderful work!!! We are very happy.

I had to move in a rush for a job and had alot of contractors giving estimates and doing work at the house. These guys were the most professional. Came on time for the appointment for an estimate, gave me a proposal on time and did the work after I had already moved to another state. They worked with my realtor to get in the house, had to come back 3 times to finish all the work. Great job, highly recommended.

Matt and his team were very professional from the quote straight up to the project completion. We had 2 rooms painted, 2 staircases and 2 hallways. It was a 3 day project and I could not be at the house each day but my mother and husband were. Matt stayed in touch with me via email and his team asked those that were here clarifying questions. They cleaned up and marked all the paint cans so we had them for the future.

Matthew and his crew did an outstanding job! The quality of work was impeccable and the customer service was great. From start to finish the process went smooth, which hasn't always been my experience with Angie's list providers. They arrived on time, worked for eight hours, and left the place spotless when they were finished. I am particularly picky when it comes to the quality of work done in my home, and they surprisingly passed my expectations. I would definitely use them again in the future, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for, and Matt and his crew may not be the cheapest, but they are definitely the best!

Matt and his brother showed up on time ,prepared the areas and went to work. They bought the paint that we requested and went to work immediately. They did not stop until they finished. They were punctual, professional and courteous.

Careful in moving all furniture and while painting. Took pride in the work. Very organized and friendly. A pleasure to work with

Matthew and Leo are very prompt and professional. They kept me informed very step if the way and worked with me to solve any problems that came up. Very nice look when finished. Old walls look new again! There was additional charges for extra care with spackle and an extra coat on one room due to poor coverage. I felt price adjustments were fair.

Matthew Maddalone, the owner of MHomes, is a true professional. Despite my vacation home being out of his normal service area he provided a detailed written estimate in a very short period of time. He cautioned me that he would most likely be more expensive than other estimates I received, do to the travel time required to reach the job site. While he was a bit more expensive I remembered the old adage "you get what you pay for", and decided to go with him. He got the job done in the time period I specified, and the work was impeccable. I tend to be a very fussy consumer, and have always done my own painting. I'm happy to say that his quality was as good or better than I have ever done, and the house was left in immaculate condition. I recommend him to others without hesitation.

They were very good. They were reasonable. I would get a cloak from them in the future.

I like the communication, friendliness, punctuality and real easy company to work with and they stuck to what they said they're going to do. I think their price is very favorable.

Matt is ontime, efficient, neat clean, quick non-smoker, excellent painter, would not hesitate to recommend.
