Thought the job was well done.

I was not a member of Angie's list until after I received 4 estimates. The list only confirmed my choice. From the beginning DF showed a keen interest in understanding what I wanted and gave valuable recommendations, and provided a detailed estimate. All of the other providers gave a quick estimate that was higher than DF but only included the siding! Some estimates were totally out of the ballpark. be careful! We reviewed the plan and we agreed that the project would start in 4 weeks. A week later Don called and said due to a delay in another project they could start sooner. The estimated duration was 8 days and with one rain day in between it was on the money. Don's crew were punctual and professional and friendly. Every day ended with a good clean up. At one point I noticed the wrong porch railing were delivered. They were replaced the next day without an issue. In my opinion they showed a high level of experience and craftsmanship that is extremely hard to find today. All materials were first rate and installed properly. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone....and already have!

Despite time of year, work was done in a timely fashion, as the weather permitted. Siding was done in the 2nd half of January, and company came back on 2/21 for the storm door and garage ceiling fix on 2/21 (separate service proposal), as well as to fix a sliding screen door damaged as the old siding was being removed (at their cost). Am extremely pleased with the results - the house's appearance, the quality of the work done, the attention to detail, the extra steps taken to address the inadequate ventillation of the attic. Company was very easy to work with - discussed alternative approached to issues beforehand and as they were discovered, and what made the most sense [not simply what the company could make the most money on] - and was very good at delivering the services that were contracted for. Due to my experience with them and the guarantees on the workmanship and materials, I am very confident that I will not have issues going forward that I experienced due to the poor workmanship of the original builder (circa 1987).

Don and his crew did an amazing job and were very responsive, courteous, and professional throughout the project. The crew paid attention to all of the minor details, showed up on time every day, and took pride in their work. Despite rain delays, the job was finished in a reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend DF Construction -- the price was fair and the guys clearly have the necessary experience.

I've used them twice. They were excellent. I used them before in 2009. The owner is a really class guy. The estimate is always exactly what the job will cost. He had a great crew and they got the work done very quickly.

They provided very good quality service. They did detailed work. The owner was very knowledgeable.

We are absolutely delighted with the results of our recent renovation. We went from 40 year old aluminum siding to beautiful vinyl siding and new window trim. Don and his team were on time, courteous and professional and receptive to any small requests we made. The left our home each day clean and finished within the promised time. We highly recommend DF Construction to anyone especially for the unique way the applied the window trim. We've had nothing but compliments from our family, friends and neighbors.

DF Construction was a delight to work with ! Don was a true professional right from the very start . He was right on with his ideas and suggestions of help . His crew worked as if they where working on their own home ,the job was not done until it was done correct ! Every day Don and his team arrived on time, and left the worksite clean and tidy. Don was excellent about communicating any issues and resolving them before the start of each work day. For example, the j-channel provided by the siding manufacturer did not match the siding well. Don went above and beyond to find another j-channel that would match the siding better that day. I am so happy with the work that was done to my house. Don and his group did a fantastic job. I was especially happy with the way the aluminum edging came out ? the corners are perfect. Don was very professional to work with, and provided excellent input on all aspects of the project. I would definitely recommend DF Construction to my family and friends.

The work was completed in a timely manner. After the job was completed, clean up was prefoemed and all debris was removed. I will be using D.F Construction for another project.

Our overall experience with Mr. Frame and his crew was excellent We contacted Don in mid-March to be sure that we would be on his schedule for early spring/summer. He called us back immediately and personally came to our home and gave us an estimate on the spot. No deposit was necessary until they actually started work and the material was on site. Once on-site, his employees worked together well and non-stop each day. They always left the work area clean. We had other contractors on site at the same time and they were very accommodating to them as well. They are very professional, skilled and efficient at getting the work done. His workers discovered a problem with the structure that was not foreseen and to fix it right would cost approximately $1,800 more. Mr. Frame called us immediately and explained the issue to us, indicated how he would fix it and asked for authorization to go ahead and do the corrective work. He could have easily just covered over this hidden problem. As it turned out, the issue was not on all areas of our home so the actual additional cost was only $1,000. I cannot say enough about how professional, courteous and competent this crew is. I would definitely hire them again and would highly recommend them to anyone. A class act.

After talking to at least five different siding contractors, we chose DF for a number of reasons and are very pleased that we did. Don took the time to answer questions, explain our options, and educate us on the ins/outs of vinyl siding. Don is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Once the project got going, the crew always showed up on time, acted very professionally, and kept the work area clean. They were more than willing to make any changes we requested. Don went out of his way to make sure that everything was done the right way at all times. For example, instead of trying to bend aluminum around our arched windows, his crew built custom-made wood trim pieces and painted them to match. They did such a great job you can't tell that it's not vinyl. Don and his crew take pride in doing a great job, and it shows. The project started and finished on time and for a very reasonable price. It was the most worry-free home improvement project we've ever had, and I would definitely hire them again. Don and his crew were the most professional contractors we've ever hired, and they far exceeded our expectations.

I originally bought this siding from an overrun job. Extra siding in boxes with corners and starter strip J channel. Basically most everything I needed material wise for this project. I was talking with family members over doing this job and it was decided that family would come up a couple weekends and help complete the siding. As times drew near the plans changed and I was informed that I had to have all the old ripped off ahead of project time. Then they would come up one weekend and get me started and I would have to complete it on my own. This is a small house 730 square feet. Siding is only about 15 square. I originally thought it be a start to finish job where I would be the helper and they would work with me on completing this. When those specifics changed I did not have the time to try and complete this myself so I went looking for contractors. Don came out gave me a quote verbally and he agreed to send me an email of that quote that night. I have to assume he sent it but electronic media sometimes has a way of not making it to my inbox. I knew the price when he left my driveway. I did not go any further with this project because of the unexpected costs associated with unforseen labor prices.

Mr. Frame and his entire work crew were prompt,efficient and always stayed on task. Meticulous work ethic and job. A beautiful finished product.

We had Don come in the summer for an estimate. He was very thorough in providing visual before and after with the computer software. As well as providing and seeking our various color samples from multiple companies to let us choose siding color. Our financing took longer than we had anticipated but when it did (October) I put Don on the spot to get the windows done the following week when we would be away and our 4 small children would be out of the house. I was concerned about the children being exposed to lead as we live in a very old home. He was able to deliver and have all the windows replaced the following week. The following month we were at the top of the work agend to have the remining projects completed by his crew. They worked together seamlessly to complete a very big project. The crew was very approachable to bring concerns to and have them addressed quickly. They are very competent and efficient at getting the work done. They clean up after themselves each day. They are polite and curteous. There were extras that came up along the way and Don worked to fairly include the costs of these into the final price.

Mr. Frame and his crew are the ultimate professional building / remodeling contractors. The estimate was on the money, the work was performed on my schedule (which was, at times, difficult) and any complaints and / or concerns I or my wife had were immediately resolved or are in the process of being so. We are awaiting some back-ordered materials and operations to complete the project. Mr. Frame and his crew enjoy our complete confidence in their professional workmanship and carry our strongest recommendation to anyone seeking the building & remodeling services they provide. Overall, this is the very best contractor who has ever worked on our home.

Vinyl siding ripped off the side of our house during windstorm winter of 2008-2009. Very difficult to find contractor willing to repair siding that they didn't install themselves. Found Don & Co. by chance in yellow pages -- what a lucky break! Of course our siding was discontinued -- he searched for the best match available and taught me all about "Dutch laps" (whatever). The match is so close I can't even see the difference. His crew is funny, neat, worked so fast, careful of plants, very professional. We plan to have them replace some old doors next. You will be pleased.

Before the siding could be done on my house I had to have asbestos shake shingles removed by another company. The result was that certain areas of the upper roof became vulnerable to water intrusion due to the flashing being pulled away where vertical walls met rooflines. It was important to me that DF Construction start the siding job shortly after the asbestos company finished. Don Frame, the owner, told me he could start my job two days after the asbestos company finished up, and that is exactly when he showed up with his team of workers. The first thing to go up was the 1/2" foam sheets. They were installed in a tight fitting manner, then all seams were taped. As I had requested, a section of old roofline was removed ? when the job was complete there was no evidence of an old roofline having been there. Next came the siding. I had some picky specifications as to how I wanted the windows framed, and Don's men accomodated my requests in spectacular fashion. All the siding is quite straight considering my old house is far from it. Another thing I was quite fussy about was the location of the louvered hexagon vent on the front of the house. Don was quite patient and worked with me on the placement by holding the vent up at different levels until I yelled to him that that was where I wanted it. The window louvers went up without any problems. Close to the last day, I decided I also wanted louvers on the side windows ? Don took care of that without a hitch. The part that gave the most difficulty was the installation of the front storm and entry door. I mistakenly ordered a door for a 2 X 4 wall, not knowing the front walls of my enclosed porch were actually framed with 2 X 6's. It proved to be quite the challenge, but Don did an excellent job and the doors look great and function flawlessly. Overall, I am quite happy with the experience and would highly recommend DF Construction for windows, doors, or siding. They showed up on the start date as promised, began work promptly each morning at 8:00 a.m., and stayed on the job everyday until it was finished. A-plus all the way!!
