Owner Don Frame is excellent. He has a very sharp eye and immediately diagnosed a problem where we had previously had a gutter. We had given up on a gutter for this portion of the roof, because strong storms, several years apart, brought down two successive gutters. He recognized why a gutter could not be properly hung, and he had his crew rebuild the base and install new fascia to resolve the problem. He also showed us exactly why the older replacement windows in our home were not installed properly, leaving parts of their edges bare and the paint peeling. He covered the edges of the windows and the faded aluminum between them. We had originally planned to have the window edges and in-between aluminum painted. However, DF's charge was only 40% more than painting (would have been a difficult paint job), and would easily pay for itself since wrapped aluminum lasts longer than painting. Don was prompt to return calls and to fit us into his schedule. He was reliable in everything he said and did. His crew was very professional, caused no peripheral damage, and cleaned up completely after each work day. We are very happy with the work done, and the price was substantially less (about half in one case) of other siding contractors we contacted. We highly recommend DF construction and would use them again for future needs.

Was concerned about the extent of damage and prepared for the worst. Don Frame inspected it and informed me that it could be repaired and provided a detailed estimate. It was a very reasonable cost. The crew was prompt, efficient and courteous. They did a great job.

We are extremely pleased with the workmanship, quality, and price of the work performed by DF Construction. This was a big job that went smoothly from start to finish. Donald Frame, the owner, was a valuable advisor who helped us select the best cost effective materials for their intended purposes. He was instrumental in our selecting just the right color for the siding. With his help we narrowed the selection down to three possibilities. Donald provided us with the addresses of homes with these candidate colors. This made the selection a snap. The work also included covering virtually all of the exposed wooden trim with white aluminum sheet, so that we now have a very attractive and an extremely low maintenance exterior. Donald has a unique approach to trimming windows that creates a neat, clean, and quite striking appearance. We have received countless compliments from our neighbors. Some have stated that it looks as if someone put a totally different beautiful house on our lot. It was a pleasure to work with Donald's crew chief, Brian. He is a true craftsman who kept us informed every step of the way and always consulted with us when any questions came up on some of the finish work details. We were gratified to see that the work area was cleaned at the end of each day, although we were not really surprised given the attention to detail that characterized the work. I am typically hesitant to recommend contractors to friends, because they often do not measure up to my standards. However, I can recommend DF Construction without hesitation and I do so. That's a really good feeling.

Don contacted me to arrange the best times for his crew to arrive every morning. They arrived on time every day (weather permitting) and acted very professionally. When they needed my input on something they asked and described exactly what they would be doing every step of the way. The trim around the doors and windows is all custom aluminum and we have already gotten lots of compliments on their work. The new porch is perfect since the old one was pretty rotten. I highly recommend their services and will not hesitate to call them again in the future when I need more work done.

we used DF to do siding, a big deck, gutters and some interior work. it was a big job done on budget, on time and very well. from the planning stage to the final visit there was great feedback and guidance on the project the crew was professional, friendly and skilled the house looks great and the area was thoroughly cleaned up when done

Don visited to take measurements and work up an estimate. We had hoped to replace a much larger 4th window opening too but were unsure just what type of windows we wanted. Don was great at explaining what options were available for such a large unit and worked up estimates with and without the 4th window unit included. We ultimately decided to wait on the 4th window and consider our options a bit longer. Because it was a small project, the job was estimated to take a day or less. Following our down payment, Don placed the order and stated that the windows would arrive several weeks later. We were flexible with installation date, which allowed for Don to fit the project in between several other projects that he had going. Don called us as soon as the windows arrived -- it was a Monday or Tuesday. And due to some available time in his crew's schedule, the windows were installed the Wednesday of that same week. The crew arrived on time. The men were extremely professional and left the house spotless -- inside and out. They minimized how much time that the window openings remained exposed to open air -- which was fantastic for the cold November day that they installed. They even ran into a slight framing size issue due to the construction of our house, but were able to fix the problem on the fly. All windows were installed within a single day. One of the crew members then returned on Saturday morning and finished the inside trim around each window in less than 2 hours. Overall, we were very happy with results and would highly recommend Don & his crew for future construction/contracting projects. My only suggestion for anyone interested in contacting Don is to always call his cell phone number -- don't reply to emails. Don is the first to admit that he doesn't always check his email. Calls were generally answered and/or returned within 24 hours.

The wife and I could not have been more satisfied! The workers endured the cold w/out grumbling and were always polite. They never interrupted our daily schedule or got in our way.. When the job was finished, things that had to be removed were replaced. All work areas were cleand and work debris removed. Our house looks great!!

This was absolutely reflected in the final product. Owner Don Frame worked with us to make sure that the plan fit all of our short and long term goals. Don's prices were right on point with the other estimates we got. We chose to go with DF Construction due to the knowledge that Don had about all aspects of siding. Of the six estimates we got, he was the first and only contractor to tell us the front porches couldn't be sided without nails poking through the thin wood frames into the porch itself. All of the other companies included siding over our front porches in their quotes. Don also worked closely with us and a third party contractor when we discovered a roofing issue to ensure that we were in the right hands and that the issue was solved in the most efficient and economical way possible. We would absolutely recommend Don and his crew.

We were completely satisfied from the beginning to the end. He came and looked at our house. He told us what he could do...he did it. Excellent workmanship with complete communication with them interms of any questions we had. They cleaned up and did an excellent job. I have all praises about them.

After an accident ruined the siding on only one side of the house, I called a couple of contractors to fix the problem. We chose Don Frame to do the repairs after being impressed with his professionalism and references. He was able to find an exact match to our decades old siding and have the work done in one day. I was very impressed and would call him again, no question!

Don was fantastic. He met with us initially and we explained what we were looking to do - he offered design suggestions and the result was even better than we were picturing going into the project. His price was also lower than we were expecting. Don's crew was fast, but meticulous. The finished windows look great from both the inside and outside. As a final touch I was very impressed when his worker asked if he could borrow some Windex to make sure the outside of the windows were clean as long as he already had the extension ladder set up. From the very beginning, I was impressed with Don Frame who is the owner of the company. He a came over the day that I called him to look at the property and discuss options with me for the siding on our house. He is a professional,courteous, and soft spoken man. No hard sells, no pressure what so ever. He provided me with a quote and references. After getting a quote from him, my wife and I proceeded to get quotes from another local contractor and the big box stores. They all came in higher, some considerably so. I also called his references which all had great things to say. After we agreed to the job, Don and connected via email a few times until the day of the job about color preferences and differing options for the window installation. He made a point of finding the window we wanted which was not of a standard variety and helping us make choices about the colors and trim colors. Occasionally, Don was a little slow to reply to me but he always did and was apologetic for being so. Once the job began, I could not have been more pleased. The crew were extremely respectful of our property and grounds and polite and personable at all times. They cleaned up daily to the point where, sometimes, it was hard to tell there was work being done on the house. Both Don and the foreman, Brian, were great about asking my opinion about how I wanted things done and making sure that it all got done correctly. Throughout it he entire week they were here we felt comfortable with them and even enjoyed a few laughs. When all was said and done, I could not have asked for a better job, a friendlier crew or a more pleasant experience. If you are looking to have your house sided, I strongly recommend you speak with DF Construction!

My first meeting with Don was to receive an estimate for siding my house only. His estimate was so reasonable that I added the garage as well including garage doors. There was no pressure sales pitch, no lengthy meeting just a simple, honest, professional yet friendly discussion and estimate received.Don and his team arrived on the scheduled date on time and ready to work. I was introduced to the members of the team and they got right to work. Despite temperatures in the 90's each day, they worked to complete the job as scheduled including additional shutters that I added to the work order in the middle of the week. This team was professional, courteous and a pleasure to have on site. I can't say enough about this company and the excellent work they do. They take pride in the work they do and ensure your satisfaction before they clean up and depart. My house is absolutely beautiful now thanks to them and I have already recommended them to others and will not hesitate to call them again in the future. The entire experience was a pleasant one.
