Andy and his wife were very pleasant to work with. I scheduled a cleaning for a Monday and he arrived within the time estimated. We had never used the fireplace and we wanted to make sure that it was a usable fireplace. He recommended a new grate because the one in place was too large and we had him install new mesh curtains. He gave us a sheet of tips to guide us while using the fireplace. Over all it was a great experience and we will call Clifton Park Chimney Maintenance for all our fireplace needs.

Called and scheduled an appointment a week or so ago. Andy called this morning to say he had an opening in his schedule earlier to see if I wanted him to come early, and he did. Polite, personable, and hilarious, Andy broke the news to me that our fireplace is breaking every rule in the book. (We bought our home a couple months ago, and apparently the previous owners had rigged the fireplace with a wood-burning stove that, well... was just all wrong.) We had a long conversation about what options we have for correcting the problem, and Andy explained things well, and even called a distributor for prices, even though Andy won't make a dime off of any of our options. Charged me $75 for the service call and inspection. Before he left, he offered to check out our dryer vent as well, and ended up cleaning out a bird's nest and telling me more about dryer vents than I would ever need to know. Another $75 for the dryer vent inspection and cleaning (discounted because he was already here). He recommends getting it cleaned again in another 4 years or so, but I may call him sooner, just for the entertainment value of conversing with him.

The gentleman and his worker were right on time. He already knew from our phone conversation what I was looking to have done. He was punctual, and professional and neat. He proceeded to clean the fireplace and chimney and will return in a year's time to inspect it again and clean it if necessary. He is also going to replace and install the fireplace wall.

Andy inspected both of our fireplaces and indicated that one was in such disrepair as to be a safety concern, and thoroughly cleaned the other. After carefully evaluating the damaged fireplace, he took the time to explain precisely what was wrong with, and the best steps for remediation even though it was not a service he could personally perform. Punctual, professional and his prices are excellent. Could not ask for better service.

Excellent service provider--set up appt. with his wife a week or so before appt.day, she called the day before to confirm, then Andy called that day to see if they could come earlier as they'd finished the previous job. If we didn't know a chimney sweep was in the house, we'd never know--not a speck of dust and dirt left behind. They did at thorough job and Andy told me everything we needed to know about our chimney, it's use, building a fire etc (not to mention some tips on our dryer vent hose!) . Very informative and friendly...

He did a really good job. He didn t make a mess at all. He is a very nice, professional guy. We have used him for about twenty years now and we really like the work he does. He came on time and is very easy to talk to. His price is real reasonable and he is easy to get a hold of. I would definitely recommend him as he really does his best to do it without getting any dust anywhere.

I have had this chimney sweep for almost 18 yrs. I feel like were old friends, catching op on the past year. The grandkids love his outfit-top hat and tails. One of the girls looked at him and asked "Do you know Mary Poppins?"

I used this company 5 years ago and was very satisfied. He had notes on his original visit, and advised us that we only need a cleaning ever 4-5 years. This is a very unusual comment. This company specializes in cleanings and is very courteous, prompt and professional.

IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE, THEY WERE HERE ON TIME ON THE DAY THEY PROMISED. THEY DID THE JOB AND EXPLAINED WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND WHY. THE GUY WHO CAME TO DO THE JOB WAS THE OWNER AND HE WAS A VERY NICE GUY.

I'VE BEEN USING THEM FOURTEEN YEARS. I'VE NEVER HAD A BIT OF TROUBLE. MY APPOINTMENTS HAVE BEEN RIGHT ON TIME. THEY'VE ALWAYS BEEN FRIENDLY. I'D USE THEM AGAIN.
