From beginning to end, Ed was and his crew were great. He responded quickly to my initial request for a quote. Upon accepting the offer, he scheduled the install date immediately. Ed arrived promptly at the scheduled time and had the job completed in one hour. He and his team were professional and took the time to explain the install. The job site was carefully cleaned afterward. Overall, I was very pleased with Capital Gutters!

I called Capital Gutters to clean one gutter on the back of my 1 1/2 story house. It turned out that the gutter did not need cleaning, but the downspout was clogged. The owner's brother flushed out the downspout, which took him under 15 minutes, but still charged me the full amount of a gutter cleaing sevice. I feel the bill should have been adjusted to reflect the service performed.

I called Capital Gutters to clean one gutter on the back of my 1 1/2 story home. It turned out that the gutter did not need cleaning, but the downspout needed to be flushed, which took all of 10 minutes. I was charged the full amount of a gutter cleaning, although the gutter was not touched. I spoke with Eddie, the owner, who refused to adjust the bill to reflect the actual work done, which was only running a hose through the downspout. Bottom line, be sure your gutters need cleaning before you call this company, because you will be charged for work they do not do. Customer satisfaction does not matter to them, but money does.

They were responsive - they answered the phone when I called. They did an excellent job cleaning the gutters and they cleaned up around the house when they were finished cleaning. I would definitely hire them again.

Excellent service from start to finish. When called for an estimate Eddie called back then came by promptly. We have huge pine trees in our backyard and the gutters fill up with pine needles. In addition the rear gutter on the 2nd floor was pulling away from the house and needed repair. Why was the gutter pulling away from the house you ask? My fault: thinking I could clean out the gutters myself, I bought an extension pole and grabber type screw on tool for the end of the pole that allows you (in theory) to grab leaves, dirt, whatever laying in the gutters. Well, it is not as easy as depicted. I am 6'1, 215 pounds and it was a pain in the butt moving that pole around and trying to manipulate the tool at the end. I removed some of the leaves, but much remained (as evidenced the next time it rained and the gutters were still clogged). Bottom line: After trying numerous times to grab leaves, etc. in the gutter with this tool, I ended up pulling the 2nd floor gutter away from the house by about 8-10 inches (gutters were put on in 1987). Eddie and crew arrived as promised earlier today, expertly cleaned out all the gutters and reattached the rear 2nd floor gutter to our home. No mess, no additional "surprise" charges. Total professionals. Word to the wise: forget trying to do it yourself, not worth it - have Eddie and his crew come over and clean out your gutters, perform any needed repairs and whatever else maybe needed. There is a reason why his family-run company is #1, because they are the best. Thanks for reading.

Just completed job. Fast & Efficent.

I was called the very next day by the company. Within two days of contacting Angie's List, Capital Gutters came to my home and had the gutters cleaned, flushed , and cleaned up all the debris. They did an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

The experience was excellent from start to finish. We received a written quote on Friday and agreed on the estimate, They said they would contact us this next week for installation. Received a text message on Monday evening that they would be here between 11 and 12 noon on Tuesday. 12 noon they were at my door. The gutters look great and the property looks like they were never here. Spotless. I have used this company four years ago and had the same experience. Would highly recommend them to others. Professional, punctual, honest, and articulate. My neighbors are interested in getting a quote from them now as well.

Overall experience was excellent. I was contacted soon after I made my initial inquiry. An appointment was made and came to my home as scheduled to discuss the project and the various options that I had . After some consideration I decided to go forward. An install date was made and they came when scheduled. The work was done within the time frame that was estimated and was very professionally completed from start to finish including cleaning up before they left . Also Eddie very specific to tell me that if I had any questions or concerns in the future to please feel free to contact him.

Eddie was very knowledgeable and friendly. He provided and estimate, worked with us on some of the options and the work was scheduled and completed within a week.

Eddie came out on Monday, assessed the job with me to determine what was needed. returned on Wednesday and performed all the work agreed on.

Excellent experience all around. Had new gutter and downspout installed. Work was done professionally and on time, price was fair. Ed made the process painless - a pleasure to deal with and can recommend without reservation.

I called and left a message on a Thursday afternoon. By that evening, Edwin had called me back and set an appointment for the next day. 45 minutes prior to the allotted time I was sent a confirmation text. We spoke over the phone once the work was completed. Edwin was very friendly and professional. I had not had my gutters cleaned in a year, and he gave me some easy pointers to keep things tidy throughout the year.

Went well, showed up on time and everything was done in a few hours.

All went well.with the exception of the worker knocking over a potted plant and a garden statue. Fortunately, nothing was broken.

Had called 3 other gutter cleaners and no one bothered to show. I called Capital and spoke to Edwin and had a great conversation. He was outgoing, welcoming and gave me a price. Said he had an opening the next day in the am. My tenant contacted me the next morning to say they were there and doing the work. I was shocked! The work was completed and I called Edwin and gave him my credit card number. Life should be so easy!!!!! Wow!

Those guys are true professionals. They were very responsive. They returned my initial inquiry call quickly and provided all the information that I was interested in. They quickly arrived for an estimate and did not pest me with emails or phone calls during the period of time while I was still shopping around. Their estimate was the best (I surveyed 3 different companies). At the end of the day I did not pay a penny extra from what they estimated. That is, they did not try to sell anything additional or play dumb (as others do) by saying.. "or there will be extra for this, extra for that...it is more expensive but worth it, etc...)The actual work was done exactly as I asked them to do. They were focused on what they were doing, they were quick but not rash, they didn't do any small talk they just did the job. That's it. We had a strong rainfall the same evening. It was the difference like a night and day.....In short, if you live in Capital region and need roof gutters installed - look no further. They are your company. I highly recommend them and certainly will use them again if need arises.
