They were very helpful and very nice. They were unbelievable.

They contacted me the same day I purchased their deal. What great people to deal with. Just before they came, my wife noticed a Morning Dove nesting in one of the Gutters I wanted repaired. They offered to move the nest to another location. What a nice thing to offer! My wife decided since she already posted the bird adventure on FB, to hold off on the job until the bird had her eggs and vacated. We'll have Capital Gutters back to finish the job. They were gracious about the whole thing. We highly recommend this contractor!

We purchased a deal on Angie's List to have Capital Gutters install new gutters and downspouts on the house and porch. Eddie was able to give us an estimate for the full job the very next day showing us the quality of the materials they use, and we were able to schedule the job for the following week. They arrived on time and were pleasant to work with. They even relocated a downspout that was already hung when we asked them to without any issue at all. Everything looks great. Now we're just waiting for the rain!

It went very well. I had multiple errands that day and left Eddie and his brother to work independently. They were very respectful of my property and cleaned up after themselves. The whole job took approximately 3 hours. I would definitely hire them again. It was a pleasure doing business with someone who takes pride in their work.

When I first made contact, I left a message. Eddie returned my phone call quickly; I was given an appointment for the following week. On the day of my appointment, I needed to go out before Eddie and his brother got there and was gone less than 2 hours; they were finished before I returned home. Beautiful clean job. For years, I had endured water dripping on my head when approaching my front door (from rain and melting ice and snow) and thought (for several reasons) there was no solution to the problem. Voila! Problem solved! Thanks so much...job well done!

I had purchased an Angie's List deal. Owner was very prompt in getting back to me after purchase and he also gave me a complementary quote for additional work. There was no pressure to purchase though. It ended up that the cost of one of the additional items was competitive enough that I took him up on it. They came back within 5 days of estimate and did all the work in about 2 hours total. I was very happy with the outcome and the look of the gutter. He consulted me thru the job to make sure I would be happy with any things that might have been changes to the original design. I am looking forward to see how they perform in the spring rain and future winters.

Came to the house the day I made the call and discussed my options and gave me the estimate of the job. When I agreed to have them do the job he completed within a weeks time of original call. Very reliable and work completed was excellent and assured me if I had any problems with the job to call and he would come back tto take care of it. Being a senior and a woman he was fare and respectful to me and I was very satisfied with the job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Capital Gutters were very prompt with a response to my concerns with a gutter/ice problem we had at our front entry. They came out in inclement weather to replace the gutter and downspout within a week of our contact. I was grateful when they called to notify me that they were going to arrive at a time later than scheduled. The work was done in a timely manner and with professionalism. We appreciated a follow-up call by Eddie to make sure that the gutter is working properly and no more ice is forming.

Everything about this company is great!! I called for an estimate to have my gutters cleaned and they came out the next day. They told me that the gutters were so bad that they couldn't clean them and showed me exactly what they were talking about. They came out on a Sunday to measure for an estimate and by Thursday of the same week, I had brand new gutters and downspouts. They did a fantastic job, were prompt, great price and Eddie was great to deal with! Excellent company!!

Once the rain finally stopped and they were able to get out to the property, the work was preformed quickly and professionally. They cleaned up after the job and they gave recommendation on how to keep the gutters flowing clear. Also they did not try to tack on a lot of unnecessary extras, which was great. Also if any followed up worked needed to be done, which it didn't, they would be more than happy to follow up free of charge. I would definitely recommend them!

I obtained many quotes and Capital Gutters was selected because they seemed to offer good value for money. Also when giving an estimate he paid attention to my questioning about locating the downspouts in order to link them up with a land drainage ditch. Even though we got some cheaper quotes we gave our business to Capital Gutters. When we called to say 'yes, go ahead, you weren't the cheapest but we thought you were the best value' he gave us a complementary gutter clean to use in the future. After giving the go ahead the gutters were installed within a few days. Two days work, one day either side of thanksgiving as I recall. Having gutters installed caused me to stare at my roof a lot and I noticed a piece of fascia needed securing - nothing to do with the guttering work - and he immediately offered to get up there and bash a nail in. The work looks great, no leaks, we were consulted about the location of all the downspouts and very long ground extenders were installed to ensure water was moved as far from the house as possible. He even left us with a few spare lengths so that we could customize them to hook up when the new drainage ditch was dug. One very minor negative was the few bits of rubbish and cigarette ends left on the ground.

When I arrived home to see the finished work, I was surprised at the lack of forethought in the replacement of the new downspout both the front and rear. One literally cut accross the side of my house to make a straighter (cheaper) drop to the ground instead of following the corner line of my home. The front one stopped about 4' up on the house and ran out mid-air to the midle of my front garden. Several of the replaced downspouts were moved to the adjacent corner, at their discression, showing old paint that was behind the old downspouts. There were metal shards everywhere. Many of the old metal straps that held the old downspouts on were in the gardens, on the lawn and in the bushes. I was so insensed by rediculous placements they had installed the new downspouts and I posed this all to the owner when he came for his check...well, I didn't exactly "pose" it delicately. Somehow I feel that if I had said it nicely, it would have been The only way to do it". Instead he had his guys come back and fix all the points I made. They did it correctly but that's not the end of the story. While mowing my lawn that week, some of the old metal screw tubes had been left on my front lawn where they parked their truck at the street and came shooting out from under the mower. It snowed a couple of inches a few days ago and it's now melting. The water from the roof was running down behind the new gutter above my garage. I climbed up to find that they had installed it too low on the fascia exposing the drip line so that the water could go nowhere else but behind the gutter. And worst of all, the shingles directly above this gutter had deep scores in them along the edges in several places and one shingle had a piece broken off the bottom of the tab. I was on the roof the week before to clean out the leaves and there was no broken tabs or score marks.

I called several gutter cleaners in the area, and after a few mis-starts with other companies over the past month, I was pleasently surprised at how easy it was to work with Capitol Gutters. I checked reviews, looked at their website, and called them yesterday for a gutter clean on my house. Pricing is a flat rate based on the size of the house, which was explained on the phone. The price was mid-range compared to the other companies in the area, and we scheduled a time for them to come to my house. I was given a one-hour timeframe to expect them, and they were on time (a little early, even, which was convenient for me). The only thing they needed was a hook up to our hose, which was fine. They went up a ladder on one side of the house, and climbed on the roof to access and the gutters. All the debris was washed and cleared away into their own bin, and he showed me an old nerf ball that had been caught in one gutter, causing problems. He never tried to sell me a long-term contract, nor repairs. He was friendly, professional, clean, and swift. I'd use them again next time, no doubt.

I called for an estimate one day. One or two days later a guy came out to look at the house and gave me a written estimate. No more than a week later they came and installed the gutters while I was at work. When I came home, I noticed that the downspouts ended right next to the wall, no extensions. I called them up and asked for extensions to be added to divert the water away from the walls. They came the next they and fixed the problem. I would have expected them to clarify this in advance, but they were quick to respond, so I was overall satisfied with their work.

I didn?t like the job that they did because they were a little bit sloppy; they didn?t do a thorough job. The price was dirt cheap. I had used them one time before and that work was satisfactory but I would not use them in the future.

I was left with debris from the gutters cleaning on the roof and in the garden to clean after cleaning!

They were good. It took them a little while to get here. I don't have any complaints with the work they did; it was to my satisfaction. The price was fair.

The initial contact and work went smoothly. I called them in mid October and they came out the following week. They cleaned the house gutters, we paid them and they left. However, they were also supposed to clean the gutters on the garage and they did not. Since then I have called them twice, they have assured me they would come out and clean the garage gutters but, as of 11/22, they have not returned. My most recent call was last Saturday (11/15)

I used Angie's List for this. I called them at around 12:15 to say I was interested in having my gutters cleaned. They asked my address and where I had heard about them. I said Angie's List. I was told there was a technician in my neighborhood right then and that they would call me back in just a few minutes to see if he could drop by. Within 10 minutes I got a call saying he would be there between 1:00 and 2:00. I was told that gutter cleaning carried a flat fee based on size of house: either $59 or $79. The size of my house correlated to the $79 price. He arrived at 2:00 and looked around with me, and that's when he told me he could do the job right then and there. He did a very thorough job. We hadn't had our gutters cleaned in about 5 years. The only mess left behind was all the debris that had been washed out. We didn't expect them to clean that all up. Anyway, it will all come up with the fall cleaning we'll have to do soon--leaves, etc. Knowing that there were a few weaknesses in our gutter system, including some damage from a recent storm during which a tree fell partly over and knocked out one of the leaders, I asked if he had any recommendations for me. First he confirmed that this initial visit remained $79 as quoted. Then we discussed a few strategies, taking into account that the economy is tight and so are our own finances. After some discussion, I agreed to allow him to schedule another visit to replace all downspout extensions to bring water away further from our house, and to remove roof moss from one wing of our house for $250. I thought it would be helpful to know how the issue was dealt with of visiting a home for the first time, doing a cleaning for a flat fee, and then seeing what result that may have brought in contracting additional work, whether necessary or not. The fact is I did ask for suggestions, and he provided them with a very soft sell. He did return the very next day (on a Saturday) and replaced all the downspout extensions. He also scheduled a return during the week to bring his power washer and do the roof. He was there by Wednesday of that week and did a very thorough job, even extending the washing further than I had expected. All transactions and work were done very professionally.
