After a bit of phone tag, I was able to talk to Eddie from Capital Gutters who was very courteous, professional, and friendly. He came to my property and explained his concerns and was very forthright about concerns with gutter installation with the crown-molding and its condition on my home. Such honesty is most appreciated in these days and times. I would recommend Capital Gutters to others due to my experience with them

I was very happy with them. They cleaned out my gutters and they did some repair. He was very good at what he did. He was punctual and I have no complaints about him.

An appointment was set up to look at our gutter problem. He (Eddie) gave us an estimate of $900 to correct the issue. We didn't want to spend that kind of money. Therefore since he can't help us, I would like the $99 refunded back to me.

Eddie's helper showed up first and was friendly. He got to work right away after confirming a couple of details about the job. Eddie showed up shortly after that and asked me to make a design choice that needed to be settled. He was helpful as he explained the options. I made the choice that went for best function but not necessarily the best design. I felt fine about the decision and went back in the house. A short while later They had finished the job and I was paying up. Eddie gave credit to his helper for having the good idea that I might want to consider using a rain chain. It was a great idea. Eddie offered to come back and help up if we couldn't figure out hanging the chain ourselves. Eddie, I may just give you a call on that. From what I can tell, Capital Gutters is a great company.

Eddie returned my call the same day I left a message. He promised a visit to my home within the following 4 days and followed through. Eddie explored multiple options with me - gutter guards (which is what my initial call was about) and cleaning service. I felt I needed more time to consider gutter guards so went with his recommended near-term solution, which was the cleaning service. He promised service within the week, and a few days later we got a call to let us know that his brother Ray would be out the next day to clean the gutters. Ray did a fantastic job. Our gutters were awful - I could smell the rotting matter that he was removing. Not an easy job for sure. Ray was extremely pleasant, did a thorough job, and cleaned up afterward (taking all the debris with him - eesh). I felt Eddie and Ray stayed true to their word, quoted a very fair price for the work, did a great job, and called the next day to ensure that we were happy. I have *no* reservations about using them again or recommending them! Thanks so much to them and Angie's List Members for pointing us in the right direction!

Edwin replied to my initial E-mail the same day and called to set up an appointment the next. Prompt, efficient service is very important to me. My gutters had not been cleaned in several years and were not functioning well. I would definitely use them again. I have already recommended them to several friends.

Entire process was very professional. I utilized an Angie's deal to get $200 worth of rain gutter for $99. Capital Gutters contacted me immediately and set up a time to review the job and provide a quote. Capital Gutters called the evening before the installation and arrived 15 minutes early. The installation was completed in under three hours. We experienced heavy rain storms after the installation and the gutters worked perfectly. I am extremely please with Capital Gutters.

Best testimonial ever is when you immediately load name and contact information onto phone to save for future use and that's precisely what we did! The service was phenomenal; initial phone call was placed and work was completed within a 24-hour window. My mother-in-law, who dealt directly with Eddie, said he was courteous, extremely professional, AND he patiently listened to problems we'd been experiencing (e.g., spouts emptying rain into mulch bed and spraying mulch everywhere, etc.). He corrected this repositioning downspouts/gutters for maximum effectiveness and did not add anything to the agreed rate for this extra work. Top notch A+ work all around....STRONGLY recommend and would only use Capital Gutters in future.

Showed up on time and did excellent work at a very reasonable price. All four of my downspouts were clogged with tiny rocks (from shingles) and mud, I couldn't get them unclogged. Now they're perfectly fine.

There are two standard sizes for residential Gutters: 5" which I have already and High Capacity 6" which I wanted to replace one of my 5" gutters. However, in spite of the big deal description Capital Gutters cannot install 6" gutters. They say that they need special insurance to do that. So, I am now working with a different contractor to do the job. Eddy at Capital Gutters told me in late June that I can contact Angie's List to get a refund of the $289 that I paid for the work that they were unable to do. I have no complaints, communications with Capital Gutters except that the title of the big deal was misleading.

Eddie called me back within 24 hours to set up a time to provide an estimate. Eddie was very punctual and answered all my questions during the estimate. Glenn did an excellent job repairing and cleaning the gutters. Glenn was very informative and answered all of my questions as well. I would highly recommend Capital Gutters for any gutter work. They do quality work in a timely manner and Eddie called me within an hour of completion to make certain I was satisfied with the work.

They did a great job. They were very meticulous, which is really important. Edwin went above and beyond; he told me if I had a problem he would come back to solve any issues. They were very polite and neat. They cleaned up all the debris and were careful of my property. They were all around excellent. Edwin even called and followed up with me.

It went extremely well. He called me right back when I left a message and came out the next day. Our gutters are finally working and we were very pleased with the professionalism of the work.

They came to clean gutters and found two downspout problems. they came back within a week and replaced downspouts that matched original gutters. The cleaning was done thoroughly and good cleanup afterward.

It took a bit of back and forth to establish an appointment. Once Eddie was able to take the first step, he immediately followed up the next day. Great service. Great attitude. I will ask him to clean the gutters in the future

His estimate was $175 and the Big Deal was for $99 - he didn't realize it was purchased through Angie's List. So it does seem the Angie's list price is always the best deal. Contractor called me when he saw the Angie's list review so I could change it 7/11/14

Eddie from Capital Gutters contacted me and scheduled a time to come out. He was right on time. He looked at the problem and thinks it is because of the building/roof design and that it can not be addressed with gutters. I give him high marks for his help, service, and suggestions.

We have an old Victorian house, with built-in gutters (called Philadelphia or Yankee gutters) and a slate roof. We called because the water was pouring off the back corner of the house in a torrent, and not entering our rain barrel, which is connected by an external gutter to the built-in gutter. A contractor working on renovating our kitchen was concerned that we get the repair done asap, before he put up the sheet rock in the new kitchen, as he was concerned about potential water damage. To complicate matters, we were also going out of town the following day. Within hours of my leaving a message, the owner, Eddie, called me back and arranged to come the following day at noon. He let me know the price; we arranged a place for me to leave a check; and agreed he would call on my cell to let me know how the job went. He completed the work, and called to let me know what the problem was (debris in the gutter and the gutter resting on, instead of above, the rain barrel), and that he had cleaned the Philadelphia gutters and repositioned the external gutter correctly. The price was as he quoted, despite the fact that this is a large house and complicated gutter system. They cleaned up great; I understand they even cleaned a worker's vehicle that had gotten dirty because of their flushing the gutter. We have not had rain since the cleaning, so I can't be sure how well everything is working, but it looks good, and we were very pleased with the excellent communication about the job and the prompt and courteous service.

Called me on 6/23 stating they would arrive the next day between 12 and 2. Arrived around 11:45. Went right to work. Very professional and well equipped to do the job. With 2 men working it took about an hour to do the whole job. Cleaned up everything, even took all the old gutters. Would highly recommend.

They kept in contact with me at all times so communication was very good and they provided what I expected them to per our conservations. I would use them again.

Eddie was prompt and professional. The whole process was very smooth and easy. He was responsive right from my initial call, came and gave the estimate, did the work a few days later and the price matched the quote exactly. When a small issue came up he responded the same day to quickly fix the problem and followed up with me afterwards to make sure everything was working properly. It was ok. They were punctual and courteous. I wasn't there when they came. When we came back it looked good. We might use them again. It cost more than I expected for minor repairs.

We scheduled an initial quote and shopped around with other companies to make the best decision. We went with Latham Seamless Gutters and on the day of the scheduled job they did not show up. Fred, the owner, answered and seemed like he forgot about our appointment so he fumbled around and had me call the guy who was coming to install the gutters. That guy never returned my calls, nor did Fred follow up, so we contacted Capital Gutters. Eddie came out a second time to go over the details with us and was very happy to do so. On the scheduled date, they showed up 30 minutes EARLY to do the job. The job was completed within approx 3 hours and he told me to call if I had any issues with the installation. Both he and his brother were very friendly and their on-the-job conversation was pleasant (I've heard other contractors cursing, talking about inappropriate topics, etc.) Thus far I'm happy with the job and will update the review if rainfall changes my opinion. I also want to mention that Capital Gutters was the only company that said it was not worth it for me to purchase the gutter covers. I know selling the covers is big $ for them but they stated that due to the lack of trees around the house, it would be a silly purchase. All the other companies I received quotes from tried to convince me of the need for gutter covers, Capital did not.
