Horrible experience. Decided to sell mower with less than 150 hrs on it for a HUGE loss because Garys wont honor warranties they sell.
Description of Work: I bought a Scag less than a year ago to the tune of almost $6000.00.Less tha a year later I brought it in for service ( on 6/8) because the cut was so poor I had customers complaining.( I sharpen my blades daily and have gator blades- the best in the industry). Also, the deck is not level. when changing blades I can get my wrench under one side easy, but it doesnt fit under the other side. The mechanic couldnt figure out what I meant by not level until I went up there and showed him. He said it seems to cut fine. I told him it isnt level, and, well isnt it supposed to be? He gave me a bunch of attitude, and then insinuated if I left the machine for service that he would mess with it. He also said it cut bad because I didnt have the original blades on. Earlier, when gary saw I had gator blades, he was impressed, and did not say anything other than "gator blades- nice" The mechanic wouldnt do anything with the mower because he said it was fine. I tried to speak to Gary about it, but he ignored the situation, and would not come out of his office. I had to go buy another mower-an Ex-mark from CNY powerequipment, so I can do a good job and not lose any customers because of shoddy equipment. I would not recommend this place to anyone. look at his other reviews- they obviously dont care about their customers after the sale. I wish I could go back in time and buy somewhere else. I dont even feel safe bringing my machine there for service. PS- the scag sucks next to the Ex-mark I just bought. HUGE difference

The sale was fine. Just when your $5000.00 piece of equipment does such a bad job customers complain- they will not give you the time of day. When I walked out I had the impression that if I left my mower there they would damage it on pupose because I had offended them by not being happy with the product performance.
