basement remodeling
+ -1 moreI am remain EXTREMELY disappointed. They laid the new concrete blocks for the new wall directly on dirt - no concrete footer. The drainage and sealing they said they installed is not working or non-existent because the wall continued to leak as badly as the old one right from the beginning and to make matters worse they DRILLED HOLES IN THE BRAND NEW WALL to ease the hydrostatic pressure!!!!! My basement is just as leaky, musty and damp as it always was and I am out $8,000. They told me to use a de-humidifier. They basically laughed when I initially asked for a quarantee...no deal. I had another construction company replace a different basement wall a decade ago and it remains dry as a bone. Unfortunately, they were not available when I needed this job done.
Description of Work: Removed existing leaky, bowed, basement wall and built a replacement wall.
