TRIPLE R LANDSCAPING INC

I stopped in springtime at Triple R Landscapes, at their 4929 State Route 5 location in Vernon, NY to get a price on 6 spruce trees with delivery. They were 4 to 6 feet tall with large rootballs. We agreed on a price and date for delivery. I prepared the planting holes myself according to the adage, 'Plant them high, they won't die...plant them low, they won't grow." When Triple R Landscapes arrived with the trees and reviewed the location, he said that the holes were not deep enough, so I dug out a bit more. When Triple R Landscapes brought in the trees, three of the six trees were flopping around; they had 'flopped trunks' or broken trunks at the rootline due to handling by Triple R Landscapes. I tried to refuse the three trees with flopped trunks, but Triple R Landscapes said to plant them & he would guarantee them. Two of the three flopped trees died in the coming month, and the third tree had only a sparse bit of growth at the top. I called for replacements the following spring. Triple R Landscapes agreed to replace only two of the three, as the third had a bit of growth at the top. Sparse growth has continued, but nowhere near the rate of healthy trees. I am not satisfied. After Triple R Landscapes delivered the two replacement trees, I pointed out that one of the two replacement trees had a large gouge in the trunk at the soil line. Triple R Landscapes refused to replace the gouged tree, and said nothing about any guarantee. They have ignored my calls since that day. Based on my experience with Triple R Landscapes, I cannot recommend them.

They did a very good job. They did the job well and then cleaned up after themselves.
