I was very pleased with his job and he was very nice. I have no complains.

Doug Shultz, took my call without me having to leave a message, and came to my home the next day to size up my bath remodel project and gave an estimate. He also made some recomendations based on his knowledge and experience. He even offerred to meet me at Home Depot to help select the new materials and fixtures. We did not take him up on this but did call him from the store when questions arose and he was immediately available to answer. Work commenced the following week. Doug showed much skill and a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the work. He is a pleasant and courteous fellow. He completed the work on schedule and I was very satisfied with my new bath. Doug provided a good contractor experience for me and good value for my money.

This job went extremely well. I am located on the West Coast and I was able to contact Mr. Schultz and schedule the job all via phone, text and email. Mr. Schultz was professional, polite, responsive and even helped save costs with suggestions based on his experience. The job was done quickly and with out much disruption to the tenants in the apartment, who were extremely pleased with the bathroom restoration. Mr. Schultz also sent before and after pictures during the restoration. My options for the bathroom were to do an intrusive complete gut or a strategic restoration. We chose the latter, and got quotes for both jobs, quickly I might add, from Mr. Schultz. We are pleased with the work and the reliability of Mr. Schultz and plan to use him again in the future. It is extremely difficult to find reliable contractors, especially when one is not located in the same city as the property. We believe that problem is now solved.

It went very smoothly, starting with a careful inspection, helpful money-saving suggestions, and a realistic, detailed quote. Work was scheduled and done over several days, despite bad weather. Doug himself worked quietly and neatly, always cleaning up afterwards. He is a very personable guy, and put our needs and interests first. You couldn't do better.

It couldn't have gone better. Doug took down wooden steps that had recently been incorrectly installed. He also jackhammered the old concrete landing that had been under the recently installed steps. He was able to use much of the wood from those steps that had been incorrectly installed. Also some paving blocks were put in at the ground level as an "entrance" to the steps. Doug did a beautiful job. The wood is natural colored (and will be preserved with stain in the spring, though it has been treated and/or compressed already by the retailer). The railings on both sides are white. I have had nothing but compliments about his handiwork. Doug is a special person. He believes in making the world a better place and "walks the walk." He is a pleasure, and has my complete trust.

Doug is my first call for repairs and remodeling. As usual, the project went great, completed quickly and this time, under budget!! I called Doug last week to get an estimate for painting an interior room. Doug returned my message with a phone call within a few hours to find out what we needed done, stopped over the next convenient day for us to give us a painting estimate and then returned today, with his son, to complete the project. Our interior room needed a new look as we move our preschooler out of the nursery. Doug and his son, Malakai, arrived at the specified time, brought their supplies in quickly to conserve heat, and got right to work prepping and priming the room. After an hour to dry, they applied the purple paint (perfectly colored from the swatch I gave him) and in a short 5 hours the room was done. They cleaned up completely, left the room perfectly purple and gave me the invoice that came in $30 less than expected. Always a pleasure to work with Doug!

Purchase custom flooring from Home Depot, Doug went to install laminate and ran across various bad boxes of warped material. Suggested we return material to store and get a better named product. Doug went to store with me and explained to the manager how defective the material was. Manager agreed and exchange all material purchase for new in stock Pergo flooring. Once new Pergo material installation started all went well and took three days to install 569 sq ft of laminate. Very pleased with Doug services, Home Depot left me hanging, tore up and removed my existing carpet and then said floor was unleveled in several places, call us when you get it fixed. I called Doug that same day and he came and gave me a quote to complete the job. Started the job 2 days later and finished the project. Needless to say my house was in disarray with furniture in every other room and need badly to find a contactor that was available on short notice. Doug was both courteous and professional. Would recommend him everyone. Plan to use him in the future.

Doug called within one day of my inquiry, came out a couple of days later to estimate the job, started when he said he would, did beautiful work, and cleaned up aftwerward. We have a 1920's house, and he was meticulous about making the changes fit in with its character. In addition to being a skilled and careful craftsman, Doug is pleasant and easy to work with. We will gladly do business with him again.

Immediate response to my phone call, and work done within 2 days. Suggestions for alternative solutions -very receptive to my needs. Gave estimates for other work while he was here, I am looking forward to using Schultz and Son for more of my handyman projects.

Doug and his Son were very easy to work with...accommodating several requests. It was a difficult ceiling to repair and paint. It looks terrific. They showed the day they said and were timely in the project. Very happy with them.

I called Doug on Monday evening, after hours, and left a message detailing my perceived problem. Doug called back within the hour, and also texted, to let me know he'd be able to see me the next day before noon. He showed up within the agreed upon timeline and brought his son Ezra to help. They immediately got to work emptying the sump pump well, taking apart relative pipes and found the problem which Doug quickly resolved with tools he brought to the work site. Doug showed me the problem and answered any questions I had about the issue. (Sump Pump had come loose from a seal in a connecting pipe, so although it was pumping, the water wasn't going anywhere) They left the work site clean as when they found it (it is a basement sump pump after all). Start to finish took about a half hour, and I was charged $20 for the work, which I felt was a very good price considering what it could have cost just to have a plumber come to take a look. I have worked with Doug many times and he will continue to be my first call for any problems, big or small, that come with home ownership.

Can't speak to his work because he never came back to us with quote.

It went well. They were a very professional group of people. They are a reputable contractor and they were good.

Doug called back within 24 hours and came out asap to give me an estimate on the job. Doug and I were able to work around both our schedules to get the job done fast. Doug spent all day Friday installing and rewiring and doing what needed to be done. He came back Monday to add another coat of drywall to the ceiling and I had a working fan by Tuesday after the mud dried and I painted.

Overall the job was done very well.

lt all started with a pot rack. Doug was doing work in the neighborhood and we approached him to see if he would be interested in a few small projects we wanted done (pot rack stained and hung, shelving for closets, fixing a tree house that was decaying). We met with Doug to discuss our needs and he gave us an estimate including labor and materials that ended up being slightly over what we actually paid. How often does that happen? Additional reasons we love to work with Doug:Doug communicates clearly what the scope of the project will be, provides an accurate estimate and is consistently punctual and professional through out the life of the project. Doug is very approachable in nature and always keeps the bottom line in sight, including notifying us if changes we make will affect our costs. His friendly, cheerful attitude make him a pleasure to work with. Doug has great attention to detail and if he can't do it, always knows someone who can for a reasonable cost (turning custom railing spindles, creating newel posts to match our interior, etc.) There are so many reasons why we continue to use him time and again for all of our household projects where we need someone with expertise. Our next project is a mini-kitchen renovation in September including a new counter top, sink and back splash. I'm already looking forward to working with Doug again.

Always my first phone call when something goes wrong... Which it always does in a new house. Can't recommend them enough. They are polite, attentive, always ready to answer questions during the process, and are very good at explaining what needs to be done and why to fix the problem. They are always sensitive to what the repair or project will cost and check in to make sure I'm comfortable with repair/materials costs. Completely trustworthy—I'm relieved I found them after purchasing my new home.
