It’s been a few months since Ron completed our patio. I usually don’t leave reviews. I am a perfectionist that changes my mind and I know that can be tough to accommodate. Ron was terrific and exceeded my expectations. Our patio is incredibly beautiful. As a perfectionist I do have to point out the cutting of the curved stones was not exact but you cannot notice unless you are sitting on the wall. I will definitely work with him again. Great with kids and difficult customers!!!

Ron was Excellent. His attention to detail and the care he took when working at my home was fantastic. Ron arrived daily at the time he stated and worked to completion of the projects. I would highly recommend Ron for future work. Ron communicated throughout the project regarding the work that was being done and answered all my Questions, Very Professional.

The work completed was beyond our expectations! We have a beautiful patio and wonderful front entrance steps, thanks to Double R Masonry Inc. We would recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

When Ron told us he would start the job at 10:00 on Saturday, he was true to his word. He pulled up with his truck and trailer, a skidsteer loader, wood for the forms, all the necessary tools, and a co-worker at precisely 10:00. After clarifying with us exactly what needed to be done, he and his companion began the job a few minutes later. Ron always communicated with us exactly what he was doing during each step of the project. We knew when he’d be here, what his goal was for the day, why each process was necessary, and how long those processes would require to complete. There were never any unpleasant surprises with him or his crew during the project. Ron also suggested some adjustments to the walkway plan we had initially envisioned noting that the changes would save us money while improving both its safety and longevity. A real win-win scenario! He was always polite, honest, flexible and timely in his work. And best of all? The walkway and the grading came out fantastic, the project was completed a few days sooner than he promised, and all was accomplished for a very competitive price. One more thing. Ron suggested we install drain pipes from two of the front yard downspouts to ensure that water never pooled in the newly-graded areas. While he did not do the installation himself, he did recommend another individual to do the work. We were very pleased with the results. We wholeheartedly recommend Ron for the quality, competency, and beauty of his work!

Ron and his crew did an amazing job identifying a good solution to replace my garage floor. He also repaired a few stairs and replaced the curbside steps leading up to my property. He was very clear with communications and was always very respectful of our property. When small challenges popped up during the project he was quick to contact me and discuss my options to get the project on track. I would trust Ron to do any future masonry work around my home and hope to work with him again.

Everything went very well. Ron has a small team that he works with to complete his jobs. He was on-site nearly every day and completed the majority of the work with Dan, someone who has been working with Ron for nearly 10 years. After they removed the deck, we had siding missing. Dan has many years of experience with siding and did a great job of replacing the missing siding (after matching the old siding color at Home Depot and painting the new siding, it is difficult to distinguish the new siding from the old). Their attention to detail was wonderful. Whenever it came to a design question or how to lay out the pavers, they made sure to check with us before proceeding. They also were careful and proactive in protecting our new driveway, fixing any soil that got damaged by their equipment, and cleaning up after their work. The concrete slab is a beauty. Ron placed large stones on the two sides of the shed base that cut into the hill, and it looks great. This is one of the nicest shed bases I’ve seen. I would work with Ron again – no hesitation! He was punctual, communicated well, and worked closely with us to ensure the patio was what we wanted. After hiring Ron to do this work, I was happy by the uniformly positive feedback I heard from others who have worked with him (e.g., workers at Sensenig's where we purchased the pavers). Although his operation is small (there are no fancy brochures or sweet-talking salespeople), it is nice knowing that you will get the “A-Team” if you hire Ron because he has only 1 team and he is on it. He also does not have much of a web presence as he relies primarily on word of mouth. In total, we paid $33,900 for this work and are happy with this price and our finished product.

Ron from the start was great to work with. He responded to our call, he asked direct questions about the job and had a great grasp of the work that needed to be completed. He gave a fair estimate, and we used him to complete the work. He worked with us on the time frame and came at the time and date we agreed on. He got the job done well and quicker than we thought it would be! He was great. Best quote "There are no insurmountable problems; only solutions!"

Excellent! Ron was amazing, he was great with communicating and follow through. He also gave us great guidance for our project that my husband would be completing. He was generous with offering helpful advice and very considerate of our needs and attended to it all thoroughly and thoughtfully. Highly recommend him!

Double R Masonry did a fabulous job. He was quick with the estimate, the price was comparable and fair, and the timetable estimated for the job was accurate. I appreciated his suggestions for the job related to water drainage, appearance-sake, and how to seamlessly connect with driveway. He was meticulous and the job came out beautifully. I would definitely recommend him to anyone I knew and would hire again for any future projects.

Jeffrey called me quickly and explained he only works with concrete and pavers, not slate. He referred me to someone else. I appreciate that he called me and didn't just ignore me.

Ron and his team did a AWSOME job. They removed a walkway that was falling apart with old, worn and broken pavers and replaced it with a beautiful walkway/patio. We wanted an updated look around our in ground pool. He removed our outdated and overground landscape and added to the existing patio to give us an entertainment area. Ron is 100% professional, and covers all the areas and goes the extra mile to make sure all the work is done to the customers satisfaction. He protected all our outside walls, the pool itself, and grated the areas affected by the new concrete. He made sure everything was completely finished. He left no stone unturned. (no pun intended) All these factors to contribute to not only a job well done, but a job that you will be both pleased and proud. I would hire this man any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Ron was very quick to respond to our request for quote while others never bother to even return a call or email. He came to our home, gave us a quote. He held to his price and his time frame. His price was in line and fair. He arrived on time, on schedule, ready to work and the job was complete to our expectations and satisfaction.. Ron and his crew are professional, hard working and do expert work. We would recommend Double R to anyone who need concrete work. We are 100% happy with the job he has done.

I was contacted by e-mail and the person that wrote stated that they were too busy and had some health issues. I gave them a “fair” rating since at least they did respond.

Ron was great to work with. He listened to our needs and what we were looking for. Then he added professional advise. He was meticulous in looking at every angle of the job before he ever started. His pricing was in line with the other estimates and very reasonable especially for the extra care he took at every step of the way.

Ron was quick to respond and although we didn't hire him we still appreciated his honesty (he admitted that he could do the work, but not in the timeframe required) and his willingness to help us (in spite of not hiring him he offered to be available if we encountered any questions once we found a contractor). He is very knowledgeable and honest. Two qualities that we very much appreciated and therefore we would not hesitate to endorse Ron.

He was quick to set up an appointment to quote the job and was super upfront and honest about the type of service I’ll really need to complete this job. He referred a friend but declined to bid. Honest and I so respect that.

We hired Ron to replace our existing driveway in front of our garage, and to extend the driveway beside the garage. Ron also put in a paver patio leading up to our front door. Ron was very punctual and professional from the first point of contact through completion. He was extremely patient as we drafted different "ideas" for the size and dimensions of the driveway and patio, even as we made change orders midway through the project. Ron focuses on quality and wants to make sure his customers are happy. He goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is perfect and to your liking. He treats every job, no matter the size, with the same level of detail and attention to quality. He's a family man, and made best friends with my two-year old son who would get so excited to watch Ron work. I would highly recommend Ron for any concrete, patio, or masonry project. We will be asking Ron to come back in the spring to replace the remaining asphalt driveway with concrete, and to do a patio behind our house.
