Jerry Amesbury,owner of Blizzard,is a common thief,he is a low life and NEVER,EVER,let him do work for you.To date,he has taken 13,000 of my money to side my house,he never completed the job,less then 50% done,and what was done is very poor workmanship I last talked to him on 5/21/2013,he has since had his phone terminated.He has piles of trash that he never removed,per the contract,he has exposed wires and nails all over the property.

The roof had needed repair for several years. It was not leaking but was obviously uneven and several shingles had blown off. The owner of Blizzard roofing was in the area and saw the condition of the roof, knocked on the door and offered his services. I already knew the roof needed repair but did not feel we had the money to fix it at this time. Blizzard did an estimate and gave us a reasonable price for the stated repairs with the understanding that if the roof was in worse condition than appeared when the shingles were torn off that we would pay a set agreed upon amount for additional materials. Everything was written on the contract. Additional repairs were needed and the contract was added to with additional signatures. Our house is a manufactured home and the roof presented some interesting difficulties. The work was done in a timely manner, weather permitting (it was December after all). The worksite was maintained in a safe manner throughout. It is now mid-April and the roof has had no problems through a typical western NY winter. The large icicles that had formed the previous 2 years did not occur this year.

The phone number no longer works for him. I have not been able to contact owner regarding complaints about their work. There is thousands of dollars of damage done because of the roofing job they did caused a leak that destroyed an office. Now I am going to have to pay to fix the office and also pay someone else to come out and fix the roof.
