I will never go to Aspinnal's Nursery again. George is the owner. I bought a tree in the fall of 2011. I told them I wanted a maple autumn blaze and for them to pick out the best one they had. They brought the tree to my house and planted it. One of the employees in particular was very rude and just seemed to want to get done as soon as possible. In 2012 and 2013, I completely landscaped my yard spending at least $2000 at Aspinnal's Nursery for various bushes, evergreens and pereniels. In the fall of 2013, the tree had splits in the bark of the trunk. Also, the leaves were not reddish-orange, as the autumn blaze is supposed to be. They were yellow. They were also drooping. I had an arborist come in to take a look at the tree. The arborist told me the tree was not planted properly - the burlap was not removed so the roots weren't growing properly. Also, the tree was NOT an autumn blaze. It was a silver maple. So Aspinnal's misrepresented the tree they sold me and didn't even know the proper way to plant it! I asked George Aspinnal, the owner, to come and look at the tree. He could not have been more rude to me, completely and totally unprofessional. He told me his guys planted the tree the way it should have been planted; that it was an autumn blaze and that I picked it out, which was not true, and that if I didn't think the tree was a good one, I shouldn't have picked it! His tone of voice was really nasty. He did say he would look at it the following year. I called Aspinnal's the following year and left several messages for George to call me back. He never did. I heard through another individual that he denied planting this tree and told this person that they planted it! They told this person that even after George had been to my house to see the tree the previous year! So they lied about it to get out of replacing the tree. One of the employees in the office is particularly rude and had a superior attitude when dealing with her. They are also very expensive. In the end, I decided it was futile to try to deal with this so called businessman. Obviously, he doesn't guarantee his products and doesn't make things right with the customer. As I said, he'll never have any of my business again, and I will spread the word to my friends and family about how badly he treated me. I'll make the trip out to Hafner's Nursery for all my landscaping needs. They are a great company and do guarantee their products with no hassles. Stay away from Aspinnal's Nursery!

gave property a whole new look. everything was cleaned up after. all landscaping looked great for entire season. well worth it.

They were very nice and everything else was fine. It was just much too expensive for me right now. They were nice to talk to but the price was about five times, than what I thought it would be.

The only thing I wish had gone differently was that I wish that they had given us a call the day before to let us know that they were coming. Other than that, I feel that the project went very well. I'm extremely satisfied.
