Description of Work: I had previously used Mario's Painting for the interior of my home in 2009 based on a referral by my co-worker. Although,the price was more than the three other estimates I had obtained, I chose to go with him because he presented a more detailed proposal of work than the others. I was satisfied with his work but he did arrive late several times. Against my better judgment, I seeked him out to perform a smaller assignment during my pregnancy in the summer of 2011. After discussing what I wanted done and the price I was able to pay,he agreed to do the job. Within 3 days of working in my home, I was hospitalized&asked him to please wait a day to return back to my home to continue working since I needed my husband to pick me up from the hospital&didn't feel comfortable leaving anyone in my home alone. Instead of working with me, he walked off the job. This is after I had already complained to him that he was showing up late&I didn't appreciate the fact that he was working simultaneously on someone else's home which was prolonging the work to be done in my home. He then proceeded to ask for more money after he had already agreed on a price,which he never gave me a written proposal for,&then wanted to give me a sob story about the amount of money he had to pay his assistant. I was very disappointed with his behavior since I had been a previous customer and would have never expected that from him. I felt as if he didn't want to do the job&should have said so from the beginning before agreeing to do it in the first place!

Description of Work: He painted the upstairs on my home.
