I attempted multiple times to have an estimate for landscaping work in front done. Despite multiple phone calls and visits to the site, I never recieved a call back. Even purchased some of my shrubs from Callanders, still no response. I finally had a successful response from another landscaping business and they did a great job

Fred Callander runs an excellent operation. He's very responsive to our questions and addressed any concerns I had very quickly. Super knowledgeable and definitely not cheap. That said, we didn't make much of an effort to cut corners. The work they do is top notch and we're very happy with it, even if the kids can't go to college now.

They did a good job. The service was good. I would use them again if I needed. They were a little expensive but still good.

Fred provided itemized estimates which were accurate. He and his team completed the job within the time they estimated, and always showed up when they said they would. His stone masons even volunteered to work half of a Saturday since they couldn't work on Labor Day. They laid a really tight patio - no stone dust needed for grouting. His team was always careful to clean up the work area when they were done for the day, The patio is beautiful, and Fred's suggestions for landscaping and window wells really pulled it all together. We are wholeheartedly pleased with the result. We enjoyed working with Callander's, and would do so again.
