I had been looking for someone to reupholster some vinyl patio furniture but was unsuccessful. I tried Angie's and within minutes I received a call from Dennis. Dennis walked me through the project, patiently provided me directions to his workshop and made subsequent calls to discuss times. Little did I know that I was dealing with a master craftsman. Dennis was a pleasure to work with, patient, meticulous and efficient. The price was very reasonable. I plan on having Dennis reupholster my dining room chairs in the fall. I highly recommend St Laurent.

He also made custom fit sofa accessories (full length odd shaped arm covers and throws) that looked like they came with the sofa. He and his staff were timely and a pleasure to work with.

I would recommend highly The furniture that was reuphostered (I've used them a few times) is very high end and modern, and they did a fabulous job - not easy pieces to work with, but the end result was perfect - great workmanship. And although not the least expensive (I wouldn't want to go with the least expensive, since really wanted quality work -- and got it!) they are very, very fairly priced and very competitive with high end reupholsters who do the quality of high end work that St. Laurent does. Also unlike fancy stores where you're paying for their overhead, St. Laurent is a small operation without an expensive storefront and the savings in price reflects that. And they're very responsive and the work was always finished ahead of schedule. Thanks again!

Dennis and his wife did a terrific job on both chairs and the ottoman. They are highly professional and a real pleasure to work with. The quality of the workmanship has been excellent in each instance and the price has been very fair. The turnaround was quite prompt also. The last project we gave them was a Saarinen Womb chair and ottoman which is quite a challenge. We couldn't be more pleased with the work. The reupholstered chair looks like it came right off the showroom floor at Knoll.

my chairs were handles with care and the overall experience was 100%. so they have the experience and know how to work with very high end products, Both my Chairs and Fabric were costly to purchase.

Dennis is exactly what I was hoping to find by going to Angie's List: an old-fashioned craftsman who does beautiful work for a fair price. His advice was sound, and his talk about the work and material gave me real insight into the process -- I learned a lot while getting these relatively small pieces done, and will certainly be turning to him to reupholster my couch someday. He also had the pieces done quickly. He was a pleasure to deal with, and the bench and cushions are beautiful.

Of the three chairs, one was of the normal type of challenge, but the other 2 proved difficult for Dennis and he underestimated initially the labor charge. This was an unfortunate surprise, but then these types of chairs are rarely seen and are a challenge to upholster. Dennis was fair and did a fabulous job, though it was an expensive project!

We were extremely pleased with the job that Dennis Rizzio did restoring our chairs! He was always on time both picking them up at the house and delivering it, always gave us a call beforehand, he is very trustworthy! He reupholstered, reinforced and polished the wood on the chairs, they look brand new! It's a real pleasure walking through the dining room now, we are really, really pleased with him! Top quality, excellent value, faster than expected!!

We brought our chair to Dennis' office in Mt. Kisco. We found him to be very personable and easy to work with. The office in Mt. Kisco where he keeps his fabric catalogs is quite plain, don't expect to see a fancy showroom. We had no trouble finding a fabric that we liked in any case. The entire exercise took less than half an hour. Dennis had the chair ready for pickup in a little over one week. He can pickup and deliver furniture also, it just wasn't necessary in our case. We were very pleased with the end result. The quality of workmanship is first rate and the chair looks as good as new.

No complaints at all, and I am a picky person. The sewing was impeccable, patterns were "centered" when necessary and matched perfectly in all cases. The prices are very fair -- I paid a few hundred dollars per item, no sticker shock. (The $500 figure is a rough average cost. A padded valance was less; the couch was more.) So far, the reupholstered chairs and couch have been holding up better than the originals!
