+ -1 moreChappaqua Septic pumped out our tank every 2-3 years for last 20 years. I had no complaint about their services from what I could actually see. When I googled for their number to make appointment for this year, I learned of the law suit filed against them back in 2009 for illegal dumping near the reservoir (http://www.ag.ny.gov/press-release/attorney-general-cuomo-sues-westchester-company-employee-illegal-dumping-raw-sewage). So I hired another company whose employees told me that it looked as though the tank hadn't been pumped for 10 years! My conclusion is that Chappaqua Septic was not doing a thorough job of pumping all this time.

Description of Work: We have our septic tank pumped every two years and I did receive a reminder in the mail, but had to leave a message when I called for appointment. I then had to call a second time days later when they did not return my first call. I then made an appointment for a Tuesday between 9A and 12 noon and specifically stated that I wanted to be at home and inspect the tank with them. Instead I came home on the Saturday - three days before the appointment day - to find that they came when no one was home to do the job and left a bill. There was no statement as to the condition of the tank and no follow up phone call from the company.
