First of all the estimate was very professional, he arrived right on time, earlier I think, and told me all about fences. I hired them on the spot because they had the best price and projected time period. He had to come back once because I decided I wanted more fencing and he redid the estimate. Still very professional. And still kept my original start date. They arrived four weeks and two days later, right on time. They asked where I wanted what, even though they knew. And they set to work. They had a large crew and everyone had a job. They had the old fence down in no time and piled it up on their trucks to take away. The new fence is beautiful and they did a wonderful job. Everything is even and the gates are hung right and are self-closing and have latches. They did the whole job in under six hours and managed to miss most of the rain. The yard looks like they were never here, they cleaned up so well. I would definitely use Victorian Fence again and I will definitely refer everyone to them. They are professional, the workers are very friendly and helpful, the office staff was just as friendly and helpful and this was a very pleasant experience.

The installer called me while I was in Brooklyn to go over the scope of work before he started. Everything was correct. By the time I got home he was almost done and it looked great. Very happy with the look of my front yard. Joe is the owner of Victorian and an excellent guy!

Salesman was patient and awesome. Workers and installation manager Harry as well! I had one aesthetic issue and they came that week and changed it - no hassle! Results were absolutely beautiful and quality products! Definitely would use them again. No disappointments AT ALL!

Victorian was very quick and efficient. The fence looks nice and was installed in half a day by a crew of two guys. One gate does stick a little but I can fix it by filling down the gate latch. They did not have enough post caps and promised to return the missing cap. They never showed up. I called and talked with the office and they still never showed up. I talked with them again today so hopefully they come this time. This is relatively minor as the cap missing is hidden anyway. Overall I am happy with the installation and would recommend Victorian.

Overall I had a great experience with Victorian Fence. They were able to provide me with a quote very quickly (some companies I called couldn't even give me a quote for 3+ weeks) and the salesperson was knowledgeable and professional. It did take them a little longer than I wanted to schedule the work after I signed a contract (almost a week), but they apologized and explained that they were extremely busy. About 3 weeks later, they came to install fence around my inground pool and to replace my perimeter wood fence. They were on time, very efficient and did a great job. They went over every detail with us, including moving the fence slightly to avoid a gutter and protecting our inground sprinkler system. Once the job was done, they made sure we were satisfied with the new fence and took every last piece of old fence with them. My yard looked immaculate when they left.

Good satisfied. Still waiting for my gates to be finished. The workers forgot the parts to do that piece of the installation. The only query I would have is that an estimate should be good for 30 days. From the day of estimate to the day of signing the contract, the price went up due to an annual increase in materials....But I feel that the esitmate should have been good for 30 days (we were at day 29-ish - under 30 for sure) - So I have learned for the next time. Joe and the crew at the house were very polite and did a fine job. They were the only company willing to remove my neighbors hedges. The fencing looks great and I am really pleased. The crew also cleaned everything up before they left and that makes a big difference to me.

Excellent job even though it was difficult due to evergreens on the line. The workers were very polite and professional and installed the fence in one day. The fence was perfectly straight and level.

I hired Victorian and I explained the importance of having a fence installed ASAP to keep my two dogs in the yard. I just bought this house and the existing fence was badly damaged. My dogs would escape to chase opossums and cats and I feared for their safety. Phone calls and messages would take 2-3 days to be returned and I get the impression that they were delaying the install because my neighbor wanted them to do some work too. When the installers came, they took a look at what was involved in the install then immediately packed up and left. I was willing to hire a landscaper to clear out the area where the fence was to be installed, but I was assured by Victorian that they would take care of it and there was no need to hire anyone else to complete this job. The owner of Victorian came to my house when I called to inform him that the job didn't go as planned. I showed him the yard and he told me that he was going to call me back the next day to let me know how we will be moving forward. He never called. I called the person I originally set up the job with and left a message on his phone and he never returned the call. I wanted to hire them and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they never bothered to call me back. I was never nasty towards them and I kept it professional and friendly at all times. They wasted a lot of my time and nothing got done. I really wished this would have been done two weeks ago, but I am starting from the beginning again. I still have a badly damaged fence to replace. They should have been honest and up front with me from the beginning. I could have had a landscaper come and do what they said they could, but couldnt. I am hiring Fenceland in Deer Park. They install the same exact fence that Victorian does for roughly the same amount of money, maybe a little less.. They were honest to begin with and told me to hire a landscaper to fix the grade issue before they came to do the install. Fenceland even got me a really good price on the work through a landscaper they work with. Because of my experience with Victorian, Myself, my neighbor, his neighbor, and my mother will all be using Fenceland instead of Victorian.

installers did a great job even thought we had a light snow that day.

No complaints. The were quick and easy to work with.

I'm not going to chase someone down for an estimate. I found another company to do the work.

YOU CAN STOP YOUR SEARCH; IT WOULD BE A MISTAKE TO USE ANYONE ELSE BESIDES THIS COMPANY. I can't say enough how well run this company is and how highly I recommend them! I met with the owner, Joe, who happens to be a super nice guy and he helped to design the fence layout which was a challenge due to the property grade and retaining walls that I have at my property in Dix Hills. Not only was the design perfect, but the price was very fair (if anything it could have cost more!) and most impressively they executed on everything EXACTLY as promised. From initial consultation to execution of installation it was an overall great experience.

Office was very nice and some one got right back to me to schedule an appointment. They were not able to keep that appointment because of a hang up on the job they were working on, They said they would be there the following day but never showed up or called. When we called the next day they apologized and came the next day and installed the posts and fence, I am very satisfied with the work they did.

Everything went well from the start. Carl was very informative on the sales end. There was just a mixup on the color of the hardware which I was assured will be taken care of ASAP. The installers were a little late the first day but they stayed until everything they planned on doing that day was finished. We have four dogs and they even made sure they sealed up the back fence well until they returned next day. I was always kept in the loop throughout the installation which I loved and was asked my opinion whenever there was an esthetic decision.

Karl was a very pleasant person to work. He explained in detail the work that needs to be done and answered all my questions & concerns. The price was also very reasonable. However I decided to go with another company based on the labor guarantee.

I got 3 quotes on a white vinyl fence. Victorian fence was right in the middle with price. I met with John and Carl. Their professionalism, personalities and knowledge is what made them my choice. I am totally satisfied. They did a great job. The crew was professional and curtious. My one side is my neighbors fence and I hop to replace that one over the summer. Will definetly call them back for the job!

The sales rep. was well acknowledged about his product. I felt he made the extra effort in offering information about product material and how it's manufactured, different prices being linked to material quality. The average consumer would not realize that there are several levels of quality linked to the manufacturing of PVC. He also offered useful suggestions that were not particularly linked to the most expensive options. What was also pointed out to us were the downfalls to fencing that is installed incorrectly. He was able to point this out as a matter of factly by showing me how my existing PVC railing was functional, but made of inferior material compared to the product he was offering, and the incorrect installation did not allow for moisture to escape from within the PVC if ever needed be. Even though it's a minor concern (it's vertually impossible for rain to infiltrate the interior) he made the effort point out that it can happen, and corrode in internal metal post support and connections. The installation crew did a great job - came up with a clever way of intergating the new rail with the perpendiculer intersecting existing fencing and gate.

From original call to end of project...very professional, they came when they promised and did the job they said they would. When done, they actually removed the old fencing for me. Well done!

I went on Angie's list to find a fence company to replace my damaged front fence after Hurricane Sandy. I called several companies and only three called back. One was very expensive and did not seem as well informed as as the sales person from Victorian. When the sales men came he showed me the difference between a good produce and recycled ones. What to look for and what will happen in a few years with inferior fence material. I, of course, went with Victorian. The price was in my range and I felt better with this company. When I called to let them know they said they would be by to remeasure and collect a down payment. The owner of Victorian showed up and he also answered any and all my questions. I was called to set up a installation date of Friday Feb. 8th. but with the snow storm coming on the 8th they call and said they would come the 7th. One worker came early and stayed all day to finish. The fence looks great and was done with care. I look forward to many years with a fence that will hold up to my standards as well as Victorian's.

I was impressed with this company from the initial visit with the salesman who provided the estimate. He was not pushy and was very pleasant. The workmen came on the day promised. I expressed an interest in the job being completed in 1 day as I have a dog and didn't want the yard to remain unfenced. They couldn't promise to complete the job in the 1 day but they said they would try their best. They did complete the job in the 1 day and the workmen were also very pleasant and polite. The rear of my previous fence was completely covered in ivy and the men used machetes to hack it off in order to take the fence down. There was quite a bit of ivy left laying across the ground and I called the next day to ask that they come back to remove it. The person I spoke to said that wasn't in the price they quoted. I told him that the contract stated they would take it down and cart it away and without an argument he sent the men the next day and they completely cleaned everything up. It really was a pleasure to deal with this company and I would recommend them without hesitation.

My experience was one of the best I've ever had with any service. I called for an estimate and was scheduled within a few days. The estimator actually arrived early but called first to make sure I didn't mind. After the holidays I called to schedule repairs and the owner came to check out the job. That very same day my fences were repaired and looked perfect. The owner, the estimator, the installer and the receptionist were all very kind, polite and efficient. I highly recommend Victorian Fence. My experience with them deserves an A+.

Called a bunch of fence services to get two front gates and side fence installed and after weeding through the choices, Ray from Victorian sold me on his product and his staff. We scheduled the work and two weeks later they came, installed a fine product and we are happy with it. They powered through on a very hot day and after a few snafu's (arrived late and had some wrong parts) they got the entire job done in the same day. Other then some communication issues we are very happy with the fence and with the guys that came out and installed it and we would consider using them again for the back fence and some paving needs in our backyard.

They were prompt and The quality of the materials was good and the job done satisfactorily in one day. The workmen cleaned up after themselves. It was a rainy day but the workmen continued working until the job was done, spending about ten hours altogether. A neighbor also tagged on to the job adding a side fence and gate. There was a small opening where my fence line and that of their other side neighbor's PVC fence did not meet in the triangular end of their property which they elected to fill. Side by side posts left a small unavoidable gap that the workman ingeniously managed to fill. I can't vouch that it was the most economical job that might have been found but their estimate was within the guesstimate we expected and their A rating on Angie's List took away any apprehension that it was a fly-by-nite operation.
