We are very happy with them. We had a slight problem and within a couple of days, they came back and fixed it perfectly. The salesperson was fine. They were efficient. They did the job in the right amount of time. We were satisfied with them.

had problems with the shingles on the roof twice, but problem was rectified.

They were very nice and informative but they were very expensive. I met with a few other people and told them they were very expensive. They said they offer a lifetime warranty. They were several thousand dollars more on the roofing and siding. The man was very nice. They were not in the ballpark. They were fine aside from their price. They were competent. They were good on everything except for the price. I would go back to them for other things and I shop there.

After dealing with another kitchen cabinet retailer we went to Home Depot (upon the recommendation of our contractor) and sat down with two of their design professionals (Ruben and Christine) to choose and order our cabinets. They were both extremely knowledgeable and helpful and walked us through a rather overwhelming job. We never realized there were so many details in ordering cabinets. The cabinets were delivered to our house exactly when promised and were installed with no problems by our contractor - thanks to the Home Depot people who ordered them. We had one issue with a drawer front we were not happy with and went into the store, it was reordered with no problem and delivered in time to have it replaced while the contractor was still on the job. We were impressed by the quality of the cabinets, the price (which with incentives and sales was lower than the previous retailer) and the customer service provided by Home Depot of South Setauket. We would definitely use them again for this type of purchase.

During the height of the hurricane Sandy power outage, my SmarterTools generator stopped working after 19 hours of service. After no success in trying to get it to work, I took it to the tool rental department at Home Depot in South Setauket. There were three employees on duty, Mike and two colleagues. They went above and beyond the call of duty to try and repair the generator. Although they were not successfull (I would not recommend a Smarter Tools generator) I really appreciated their efforts. They showed the same attentiveness to everyone who came in with a problem tool or who were seeking advice.

It was delivered and taken off the truck. The doors were off of it. They had to play around and put it back together. The delivery man said that we shouldn't take it. They said that they would have to order a new one. I received a call two days later that they had one in for me. I strongly suspect that I was delivered the same one again. The delivery guys showed up in front of my house. Ironically, they were delivering a washer to one of my neighbors. They pushed mine aside and went to the next one. Although it was my delivery time, they told me that they were running behind and had to make other deliveries first and they would come back. That baffled me because of the price of gas and such. It took them more then two hours to come back. I made a complaint on it and I got nowhere with the delivery company. When they did get back, they brought it in. They basically moved the other one out and pushed this one in. The didn't do set-up or anything. It appeared to be off balance. I called Home Depot and they told me to call LG. There was a big go-around between the two. I went from October until a few weeks ago having to pull out my refrigerator and unplugging it for four hours. It was making to much ice and causing it to make a funny noise. Come to find out, there was a nix in the line. They sent someone out to replace it. I still had a ton of different problems. I kept calling them and finally convinced them that they gave me a lemon. LG finally sent someone out to replace the electrical board. I guess it was an updated board. Luckily, we haven't had any problems with it since. I was pretty disappointed with LG. Home Depot had their hands tied. I really went through hell with this refrigerator. I have a big family. There is seven of us. There is a lot of people that use this refrigerator. The man that came out to do the service was very nice. He let me know that If you purchase a stack-able washer and dryer you can have problems with the repair. He said that they will make you unstack them before they will repair. Home Depot said that they were going to look into that. Their price was very good. The service in the store was very good, but the delivery wasn't very good.
