Description of Work: replaced 2 central air conditioning units, both compressors and air handlers. 1 done three years ago, 1 just completed.

Description of Work: We have worked with Bob at Sunset for many years. He installed two completely new A/C systems except for ductwork, as well as a whole house humidifier. Everything went like clockwork and there is never an argument about price. He is the best.

Description of Work: Our air conditioning was running but not getting to temperature. First they came and reset my circuit breaker for $250, when that didn't fix the problem by the next day he decided we needed a new circuit breaker and sent his friend to change it for another $125. That wasn't the issue either...next was a part on the electrical panel for $200 which was diagnosed over the phone without ever coming back to check anything in person. Still no AC. Finally decided it was the compressor (on a 4 year old unit). We were advised that it was still under warranty but would have to lay the money out for the compressor because he didn't want to wait for the company. And that expedited shipping would cost $100. We actually waited it out for the summer as we had already spent too much money for nothing. Early this season we had a new company come to look at it and we're told that the compressor is still running like new and that we have a slow leak of the coolant. I would have been very upset if we would have paid $800+ to install a new compressor and for the AC to still not work. |Not a good experience at all.
