JR's Plumbing responded immediately. They fixed my leaking toilet which had been a problem for a long time. I had tired other plumbers but JR's fixed properly. I will use them again.

Slow slab Leak -- called JR in the evening and they responded promptly starting work the following morning. Very personable guys who worked non-stop verifying the leak, breaking up the slab (amazingly saving the tiles on top) and replacing the section of pipe with the leak. They were very thorough and professional in their work. The cost was very reasonable. I would recommend these guys in a heart beat.

I was impressed because they were such gentlemen. Normally I'm concerned because I live alone and concerned about having men come into the house. They were very prompt, very courteous and they came exactly when they said they would. They were right on time. They were very courteous and respectful.

He arrived on time and was finished in Avery timely manner. The kitchen fixture was an after thought, and he had no problem helping us out with that. Very professional and neat. I will recommend him to my sons and friends.

I have used JR Plumbing in the past. My wife likes them personally, Spoke to him yesterday, Frank told me @ 7AM he would come after he had a call out east. No sight or word throughout the day. At 5PM, I call and left a message with his answering service trying to get an update. No call back, At 10PM I turned the lights off at my home. At 7AM this morning, I called a more reliable and professional plumber, Called back his answering service and told them I don't need him anymore saving him the trip whenever he decided to show up, which was more consideration than I got.

On time, fair price, completed work in timely fashion, no problems after.

Making the appointment was easy, although there was a delay. I had an 8am appt., and called at 8:30am because they weren't here, and the plumber got here at 9:30am. Since I was home today, it really didn't matter this time around. The work was pretty involved, pipes had to be soldered, the outdoor faucet was replaced, and the kitchen faucet was taken apart and put back together with new washers. It took about 90 minutes. The price was fair, just under $200 with tax. My only concern is that I was asked to pay cash or write a check, even thought the posting here on Angie's List clearly states they accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, in addition to taking checks and having "financing available." I thought I had confired this in making the appointment as well. I was not happy about this, the plumber called the home office and the answer was still no. In summary -- they got here later than promised, but service was great, and price was fair. The only real issue was the forms of payment they accept.

I have used JR's Plumbing a number of times over the years and always found them to be professional, reliable, prompt, courteous, clean and trustworthy. The last time I called them was when I discovered that my hot water heater had a slow leak, which had been occurring for a couple of days before I realized it. This was the day before leaving for vacation! I called them right away and explained my situation. Not only were they willing to come that day, but they had me take a photo of my water heater with my phone and send it to them because I was unsure of the size that I needed and they wanted to be able to come that night so that I could go away the next day without concern. Thank you Frank Sr & Frank Jr !

I was first told by Frank Sr. that he could come later the day I called but it would be after 4. It was after 8pm that I was told he couldn't come until the next morning. Prior to this I told Frank that I was quoted a price of $195 to replace the shut off valve flow valve and flapper except the other plumber could not get there that day. Frank said that the shut off valve alone is very involved and would cost $175. He then proceeded to say he would charge $225 for all and he could do it that day. I was desperate and said yes as he was going to do it that day but only let me know at the last minute he couldn't come. Frank did NOT show the next morning but instead he sent Mike who is NOT a licensed plumber The shut off valve did NOT need to be replaced as the WD40 worked that I sprayed on it the day before and it was now able to be turned off. The leaking flow valve was replaced. I was told he could NOT replace the flapper because he did NOT have the part. I was so happy the most expensive item was not a factor and asked what the price adjustment would be and Mike first said he could take off $50. Mike later said there was a $175 hourly charge and that he could only take off $10 for not doing the flapper and that would be $215 + tax. I was shocked and then asked him about replacing the flapper on another toilet as I was paying an hourly rate and he shockingly said the toilet was old and they didn't have the parts yet these flappers are in Lowes and Home Depot. Mike did turn the outside faucet on by literally turning the water nob in the basement. He was here for about 40 minutes in total. I told Mike that I was shocked that he was claiming he never said he would take off the $50 for the valve that did NOT need to be replaced. Mike then said he did not have the authority to change the original quote. When I told Mike I would pay the exorbitant $215 + tax to replace the flow valve but I will never use them again he then dropped the price $50 to $175 +tax thus the $190. The half repaired toilet is still in need of a new flapper that he did NOT have and the other toilet is still in need of a flapper they did NOT have. I WILL NEVER use this company again and cannot in good conscience recommend them.

After reading the reviews on Angie's list I contacted JR Plumbing and spoke directly with the owner Frank. After explaining the situation,,he said he would respond within the hour which he did and quickly evaluated the problem. He took care in setting up the work space to elevate any mess from a badly backed up drain, full of foul water. After several attempts with a professional snake and a chemical treatment, the clog dissipated and the water flowed freely. Everything was put back together, didn't leak and the water flowed smoothly. If you are looking for a courteous, professional plumber and who arrives on time. I recommend this company to tend to your plumbing needs.

They came out to install a new water heater. It's a family run business, and their work ethic and attitudes are really efficient and caring. We'd definitely continue to use them and recommend them. Everything they did was personal - they seem like caring people, like you’re more than a number. They took pride in their work.

I was quoted this price on a full installation of my Navien Heater. One year later I am experiencing high pressure and I called Navien and they sent a certified plumber for the unit. What was found that when the unit was originally installed a intake pipe should have been put in but I was told I didn't need one and the water reserve tank was too small and I did have the larger one but Frank took it out says it was too big for the room. However, Navien told me that the size of the room was too small to eliminate the intake pipe and the water reserve was to small too. I called Frank to advise him of these findings and he told me to text my phone number to him and he would get back to me. I did do that over a month ago with no response. I called back the certified plumber, and I have had a few plumbers come regarding the pressure and all said the same thing.. I needed an intake pipe and larger tank. The certified plumber corrected the problem and the pressure is fine no problem with blowing pipes and tank was replaced with the larger one. I sent Frank from Jr's Plumbing the itemized bill as I feel this should have been done on original installation or he should have called and corrected the problem at his cost. The cost to correct this was 540.00. He has yet to respond to my letter or bill.... .

Everything went well. The service was prompt and complete.

In November I started calling and left several messages with the answering service stating that I had a coupon and wanted work done. I left my work number and home number that he could call me at night. After leaving several messages, I finally received a call back at home late afternoon, when he knew that I still would be at work and I would not be home. I called and left another few messages with answering service and then left my cell number. I received a call back at this unfamiliar number and once I informed that I had a coupon for 2 hours of plumbing services for $99, he said that he would call me back when he took a break from a job and would go outside to his truck to call me. A few days later I then used his cell phone number to call him back and he did not recognize my name or number. After we made arrangements to have him come on 11/28, I then mentioned I had the $99 coupon. He said that he would honor it and call me back to arrange for a time he would come to the house on 11/28. On 11/28 I called asking what time he was coming over because it was getting late. He said that he thought about it and he could not do the job for the coupon price, but would call me back with a price that he could do it for. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I WANT A REFUND OF MY $99 COUPON THAT I PAID FOR AND RECEIVED NO SERVICES.

I called as a new customer at 8am and got their answering service. I received a call back withing 5 minutes. We set an appointment for between 10 am and 12 the same day. They arrived just before 10 and had my furnace up and running before noon. And that included them having to go get the part. You can't ask for better customer service than that. I also thought their price was very fair.

I had a toilet that was not flushing properly. Wasn't sure if it was a clog or something else. I called and left message. They returned my call within 15 minutes and were at my house early that afternoon. They fixed the problem. The repairmen were professional and friendly and I would us JR Plumbing again in the future and would recommend them. I liked that they removed their shoes before entering the house so as not to drag in any excess dirt.

I called as sort of an emergency on Columbus day morning at 10:30 am. Got a call back within a few minutes. I said I needed three things done and asked if they would be able to do it that day.. We had two leaking pipes and couldn't use the heat. He said they would be over in about 2 hours. They showed up right on time, and spent four hours working on the 2 leaks, and moved the plumbing for a new tub/shower. They also installed a new trip lever on the tub, and connected the tub to the wasteline in the basement installing a new trap. I was very happy that they were able to come and do all that work on short notice, especially a holiday. Paul and Frank were very professional, and knew what they were doing. We did run into one small kink as one of the pipes they fixed began to leak later that night. I called first thing the next morning, and they were back within a few hours and fixed the problem.

We discovered a bathroom leak at 1:00PM and called JR's plumbing right away. Left a message and received a return call in 15 minutes. Spoke with Frank who showed up at 3:00 and he had us back in business by 4:00. Frank was friendly and professional, neat and the price was reasonable. Would highly recommend. If I need a plumber in the future I'll call JR's.

We had Frank attend to our plumbing repairs and he was...punctual, professional, courteous and extremely competent!! He was highly skilled and exceeded our expectations. We were so impressed that we will be doing additional future work with his company!

I didn’t have water for 5 days Repairing the pipe required excavation and they had to get a bobcat. They said it could be done the same day but there were more steps involved. I expected them to tell me that there had to be inspections to locate the gas lines. I’m not sure if they were misleading me or a lack of knowledge. I thought since they had been in business for long time they should have been able to get someone out quicker. I was too busy to call around to find a bobcat. I was disappointed in being told at first it could be fixed the same day and then having a 5 day delay and no water to the house during that time.

Called the morning of 8/4/14. Received a call back within a few minutes from Frank. He told me he had someone in the area and would send him over shortly. Also discussed pricing with me over the phone Mechanic arrived in about an hour. Very friendly. Looked at what needed to be done. Left for a few minutes to get necessary material. Ran gas line extension. Installed new gas valve. Relocated dryer to its proper location. Left area clean. Will definitely use again for plumbing services.

Frank and his guys are the Best. I am so happy that I went on to Angie's list. I will always recommend JR's Plumbing.

Very simple: Frank was terrific. I called with an emergency on a Sunday morning. The hot water heater exploded at my rental property. I left a message with the service and Frank called me back within 5 minutes. We discussed my needs, he assured me that he could take care of it first thing in the morning and he did. He was in communication the entire time and by the time I arrived at my rental property, Frank and Rob were already there waiting for me. They wasted no time and had the new hot water heater installed in under 2 hours. I was so pleased that I called him later the same day to install a new one in my home because I'm not waiting for that one to explode too!

Tom and Mike arrived early and immediately got to work. Turns out the Faucet that I purchased at Lowe's, and was assured would cover a 3 hole sink, did not come with a plate and would not cover all three holes. Both Plumbers waited at least 20 minutes while I went to a local Hardware store to pick up the correct faucet. Once back with the correct faucet they finished up there work in 30 minutes or so. They left the Kitchen clean, as they had found it and gave me a bill that was fair, considering that they had to wait for me to get the correct Faucet. Both Plumbers were professional, did great work and I really appreciated them waiting without giving me a hard time. I would definitely recommend JR's again.
