Bait and switch. I was told on the phone that it would cost $590 to drain 2 cesspools. Back in 2020 I called them to drain my cesspool and they told me I had 2 cesspools and I needed a riser and coverfor them. I was charged almost $1500. Now I call them to drain them and they can't find the secopnd cesspool so they only drain one and then charge me an extra $100 to "unclog" the pipe. Then they said the price I was quoted was for 2 pools but they onl;y drained one because the couldn't find the other one (that they drained the last time). After the job the guy charges me $500 to drain one cesspool instead of $590 fot 2. RIP OFF.

Mike called us right away when we look on Angle's list for a reliable cesspool companies. We made the appointment for him to come over but he never showed up and never called to let us know he is not coming. We were waiting for the whole day. Not reliable... DO NOT USE THEM.

it seems to be working well. I still have one more day before I can use the shower or dishwasher but the way the toilet worked immediately I have no doubt the rest of the system will work. I was very pleased with Mike (the owner) he was very pleasant, and explained everything he did before he did it. Would definitely have them do work for me again

They left the yard a mess. Did damage to the sprinkler system, bent the pole and ripped liner to the inter pool, dug up walkway pavers that lead to the pool, damaged the electrical box for pool, large pieces of the old cesspool were left in the yard, scratched post to fence and damaged the neighbors Belgium block curb.they came back and removed the cement large pieces but still have a lot of smaller ones. Asking only to have them pay $600.00 to fix neighbors curb and replace the pool. He keeps saying he will settle for over a month now. Last time I tried calling he didn’t answer. He could have had two more jobs but a would not recommend them

The work was done and completed the next day.

When I put the request for service on Angies List I received a call from them in less than two minutes. In our initial discussion he gave me a hard time when I kept asking for an idea of the cost of snaking our line and told me that when their men arrived they would give me an estimate and if it wasn't acceptable we could cancel the work. I told him that was unacceptable as that would put the job back another 24 hours. He eventually gave me a range. I booked an appointment for the next day. He was a no-show, not even a call. He had both my wife's and my cell number. The next day I called another company and made an appointment. Then I realized that I had called Competition Cesspool back by mistake. Guess what. NO SHOW.

Got a call right after submitting my request for a cesspool company from Mike. Sent his man over that afternoon and was very pleased with the technician. Hopefully this solves our problem

TJ showed up on time, a plus. The main line was cleared within an hour. He then dug several feet down to expose the cesspool cover. The pool was full. He preformed hydrojet service to reduce the fluid level. He also cleaned the line to the overflow pool which was totally clogged. Both pools were chemically treated. He recommended that a collar be added to the main pool and the standpipe diameter on the overflow be increased to 6 inches. He would need to return in 2 days with the materials. The additional work was performed on schedule. I was so pleased with the work that I asked them to hydrojet and treat my other system. The team worked quickly and efficiently. They carted the extra sand to a low spot in my yard. When they left, the ground was raked level and the sod replaced on top of the excavation. You could plainly see that the work had been performed but the lawns were restored very well. A little grass seed and some water and it will be good as new. They clearly know what they are doing and pride themselves on being on time.

The cesspool backed up into the house so I called a couple of companies from the Angie's List of recommended cesspool services. The only company that would come immediately was Competition Cesspool! TJ was dispatched to our home where he worked in extreme heat late in the day. He worked very hard to first empty our cesspool but was not able to release a clogged pipe to correct the backed up system. He then proceeded to explain that the issue was coming from the inside of the house and suggested we try to snake the pipe/trap. He worked tirelessly, in very uncomfortable heat but was polite & very accommodating the entire time. After considerable effort, TJ was able to release the clog & we now have normal pressure & drainage! Thank you TJ for being so honest, professional, & neat! I highly recommend Competitive Cesspool & Drain & would absolutely use them again in the future!

As soon as Angie's List gave me this company as one of their recommended cesspool companies they called right away. Mike was pleasant to speak to, he was punctual, courteous, got the bad clog in my main waste line cleared pretty quickly, and he cleaned up after himself. He also sold us a natural bacteria treatment that will help with buildup so this doesn't happen again. I will definitely call him again for future cesspool issues. Thanks Mike for saving the day!

Service was quick, Mike was very professional, yet friendly. The process was explained thoroughly and not overwhelming.
