Very glad they showed up the same day I called! James was excellent in replacing the valves and he put off lever handles inside the house as well as the outside. I had a builders special's. It was done the correct way and I'm very happy with there work.

john Pederson did master job, dug up the slab found the cracked pipe and replaced it also back filled about 10 feet and filled with concrete did a very good job price was a little high but the problem is gone.

They fixed the problem in 1 hour. The two men, if I remember correctly were James & George, who were professional and also polite. I applied the $10.00 coupon they have on Angies List to the final total. I feel the price was reasonable and I would hire them again.

Badly. Simple connection. When they came to give an estimate they talked the job up like we were building the Hoover Dam, then gave a $600 estimate. Last night a friend, who's a plumber, and I did the job. It took us less than one (1) hour. My friend charged me $20 for the materials, but I insisted he take $100 as that's fair for an hour of a plumber's time. I hate imposing on friends. I would have been willing to pay $150, even $200, but $600 was just price gouging a senior citizen.

I would rate it as high as you could. He was very good. I'm calling him again to arrange for other work.

They showed up without a couple hours of my call, fixed the broken solder joint caused by the freezing, defrosted the pipes and cleaned up nicely behind themselves. I was also very happy to hear his suggestions about how the pipes could be rerouted to prevent the same problem in the future. Professional, polite and thorough.

Called to have a bar sink installed and the cabinet area prepared for an 18 inch dishwasher that would be installed by another company but they would not do the cut out. Spoke with John the owner who called my back very quickly. He asked me if the countertop was granite, I told him no, it was formica. He asked me if I wanted him to purchase the sink, I told him no I would pick it up. I explained to him that the plumbing was behind sheetrock and there had been a sink there years ago that was removed. We scheduled for 9 am the following Saturday. At 10:30 John calls and asked if we had an appointment, I said yes. He said he has his crew nearby, I told him no problem I would be home all day. He asked if he could do an emergency call first, I said no problem. His crew arrived at 2:30, took one look at the area and said they were not told they would be cutting out the countertop for the sink and that the cabinet area could not be cut out for the dishwasher because it was all one piece. (I have previously had it done to the same set up in another house so I knew that wasn't true). After calling John the crew said he thought they were only cutting out a hole for the faucet (really???). I had been quoted an estimate of $375 which I didn't think was any bargain but the dishwasher was coming in another week and I wanted it done. This joke of a company wasted my time and all the prep work to be done for the job...an entire week I could have had to search for a company that could actually handle it. I will never call them again and I'll make sure no one else I know does either.

Although this was not an emergency, we were finally fed up with the shoddy workmanship from a previously-engaged cheap plumber. In the three times I have called Shirley Plumbers over the past 10 years, they have always been able to come by on the same day, whether to install a toilet flange, replace a water intake line or, as today, install a sink. They arrived at 4 PM and completed the job efficiently by 530 PM. They had all of the necessary parts in their truck, including sink clips which worked unlike the ones that came with the sink we had purchased from a major home improvement chain. They did an extremely professional job using the right size waste pipes without having to jerry-rig numerous links. They tested their work by engaging the dishwasher to check for any leaks as there were with the previous plumber who had no clips in his truck. They seemed totally confident in what they were doing and not argumentative among themselves as were the previous plumbers. The bill seemed a bit steep but I have the full confidence that they would be back to fix any mistakes and not charge me. In the three times I have called Shirley Plumbing, I have never had to call them back and I will never make the mistake of looking for a cheaper plumber in the future.

The company quoted me a price for labor over the phone. They came the same day and honored the quoted price. "James", the installer, performed the task in a very conscientious manner. I was very impressed with the neatness of his work. There were no hassles and I was completely satisfied. I'm glad I called them.

The copper pipe broke while I was attempting my own home sink replacement project. I called Shirley Plumbers at 3:30 in the afternoon and they were there within half an hour as promised with torches, hangers and handsaws to help me right the situation. They were calm and efficient in fixing a situation which I felt verged on disaster for me. Years ago they did the same thing for me when a bathroom project resulted in a leaky toilet flange threatened to kill the whole project.

Prompt, courteous and professional. Got a "diagnosis" and estimate before I had the work done. Got a consult for another problem at a later time also. Sure, licensed plumbers fees are what they are, but they returned my calls and showed up on time even for a small job. Will use them again.

The job went well. They arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner.

They were fine. I went with them because they were recommended on the list, they were close and available. Everything was great, they were terrific, they were on time and they took their time. It was cheap too, only a couple hundred bucks. We probably will be using them again for some major work.

The plumber was on time, early in the morning (8:15) and very professional. The advice as to what to do in the future and explanation of the "root" of the problem was invaluable.

THIS WAS A FANTASTIC COMPANY. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. THE WORKERS WERE ABLE. THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDED WAS VERY GOOD. I WAS HAPPY WITH THE WORK.

THIS COMPANY DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. THE PLUMBERS WERE CLEAN, NEAT AND PROFESSIONAL. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED IN NO TIME. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN WORKING JUST FINE SINCE THE INSTALLATION.

I HAVE USED SHIRLEY PLUMBERS FOR YEARS, AND THEIR WORK HAS BEEN GOOD. I HAVE NOT HAD TO CALL THEM BACK TO RE-DO A REPAIR. THEY ARE GOOD ABOUT PROTECTING THE AREA AROUND THEIR WORK, SO THAT MY HOME IS NOT DAMAGED.
